People are angry on the Internet, and for once, it's for a good reason—the youthful social network Snapchat just got busted (probably) stealing their latest filter from the artist Alexander Khoklov, who used the same design in one of his works. This is Khoklov's design, made with the help of makeup artist Valeriya Kutsan and featured on the cover of Scientific American Mind:

According to BuzzFeed, Khoklov was never contacted for the use of his image by Snapchat. Snapchat has since removed the filter.

“We agree that this lens is similar to other artists’ creations and we have removed it,” said a Snapchat spokesperson to BuzzFeed. “We are sorry for this embarrassing mistake and we are taking action to make sure it won’t happen again.”

This is one Snapchat mistake that won't erase itself after a few seconds.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar is one of the few contemporary artists that come close to matching Prince's astonishing talent as a musician, and probably only person who matches the late star in sheer coolness. In late April, Twitter user Tony X posted a series of hilarious tweets about the first hockey game he ever watched. The St. Louis Blues (an NHL team) saw his viral tweets and promised to give the new hockey fan a ticket to an actual game. He definitely received that ticket, because on Tuesday night, the Internet sensation attended his first hockey game between the Blues and the Dallas Stars. Mary Ann Franco was declared legally blind in 1995 after a serious car accident took her sight, but 21 years later, another accident would give Franco her eyesight back. Good Morning America reports that the Okeechobee, Florida resident recently had spinal surgery to alleviate neck and arm pain after suffering a fall in her home, but when Franco woke up, she could see that the surgery gave her a lot more than she bargained for. 

Even though he was the one who accidentally restored her eyesight, even Franco's surgeon John Afshar called it a "true miracle." He told ABC news that although he has no hard scientific reasoning for how this could have happened, he does have a theory.

Mrs. Franco’s vision was impaired from her accident 20 years ago and it could have been a result of the artery being kinked, and then when we performed the surgery itself, we unknowingly probably unkinked that vessel reestablishing blood flow and, therefore, she could have regained her vision

Additionally, Franco had also said that she was completely colorblind before the accident and now can see in full color, making this the best accident to happen during surgery ever. She calls regaining her vision an "act of God."

Congrats, Mary! Now you can feast your eyes on stuff like this.

Unless you're one of those women who just doesn't feel her period (and if so, who are you and how did you do that?), at least one day a month you're showing up to work glaring at every man who never has to work through cramps. 

A UK-based company serendipitously named Coexist is sick of coexisting at work with tired and crampy women, so they are giving them paid time off to let their bloated bodies rest at home. This is how it would have been for centuries if men got their periods. 

Bex Baxter, one of the directors at Coexist, said:

I have managed many female members of staff over the years and I have seen women at work who are bent over double because of the pain caused by their periods. Despite this, they feel they cannot go home because they do not class themselves as unwell. And this is unfair. At Coexist we are very understanding. If someone is in pain—no matter what kind—they are encouraged to go home.

Hell yeah. Plus, Bex claims that women are three times more productive directly after their cycles.

So, like, maybe women should get three days off? Just spit-ballling here.

Awesome nerd dad Rob Lopez had a fun idea for a May the Fourth prank on his two-year-old son Sebastian: dress up in a full Darth Vader outfit and wake the child up. Besides the actual wake-up, maybe the funniest part of the video is when Rob gets his wife to sign a permission form allowing him to prank their son in a manner that could lead to "years of therapy & counseling." (Jump to 1:05 to just see the wake-up.)

No need to worry about that from little Sebastian, however—like Han Solo when he walks in on Darth Vader on Cloud City, li'l Sebastian immediately reaches for his weapon upon seeing Vader. (BTW "Vader" is the Dutch word for Father, although the German pronunciation of "vater" is closer.) Even though he can barely lift his lightsaber, Sebastian does not back down for a second.

Picture day: that day in school when you put on your best teased hair (in the 80s), fashion vest (in the early 90s), or velvet shirt (in the late 90s). But today's kids, they don't go for teased hair, vests, or velvet shirts. They have something more...heroic. Redditor NicCages posted the photo below with the comment "My cousin's friend let her son wear this hoodie on picture day if he promised to take it off for the photo. He didn't." (Although, it should be noted, NicCages is apparently not the original friend in question.)

Kylie Jenner attended Rihanna's concert on Wednesday evening because she lives a life of luxury. Jenner, of course, Snapchatted her night out on the town, including when she headed out of the concert. For a brief moment, Jenner rolled down the window of her SUV and revealed her face to the world. It was horrifying—the world, not her face.

On Monday, actress and lucky wife Jenna Dewam Tatum posted a Snapchat story of her actor husband Channing removing her toenail polish.

Yes. People. He is taking the polish off her toes. Because this is what he does.

And here he is blowing her freshly painted toenails dry (whether or not he actually painted them is unclear).

He may not be a real human. He may actually be the living, breathing personification of desire and fulfillment, created by a universal hivemind of women who willed him into being by praying nightly to their shrine of Sex and the City and Appletinis and the dream of men who will remove their toenail polish for them.

Twitter user @kloidaaa was walking in London outside of the department store Harrods when she saw a fancy car that had a highly personalized paint job. The car, which ABC 7 estimates cost about $108,000 dollars, is a customized white Range Rover that's probably worth nothing but lots of shame now.

The scorned lover who spray painted her ex's vehicle didn't have a lot to say. She stuck to a few simple phrases, "cheater" being her favorite.

And then the phrase, "Hope she was worth it" clearly conveyed the message that the painter was done with the car owner.

In case that wasn't obvious enough, she wrote out "It's over" on one side of the car.

Everyone in London has gotten the message by now. 

There are two lessons here: don't cheat, and red spray-paint doesn't look good on a white car.
