Burger King tried to rename a soccer team and got a 'Game of Thrones'-style smackdown.

European soccer is no stranger to big money, but usually it's from shadowy billionaires and not American fast food brands—and those guys usually don't ask for a ridiculous renaming, which is what Burger King tried to do. The fast food chain offered the small Zenit St. Petersburg club 500 million rubles, (over $7.5 million) to change their name and logo to Zenit Burger King.

Fans everywhere shook their heads at this absurd proposal, but assumed that money, as it usually does, would win. Then, unexpectedly, the small Europa League team responded with a public retribution that was RTed around the world:

That's right, that's a clip from Game of Thrones season one where the obnoxious Prince Joffrey (now with the Burger King's face) is smacked down by everyone's favorite Imp, his uncle Tyrion Lannister. The integrity of sport and the power of GIFs are alive and well. Huzzah.

Lindsay Lohan broke off her engagement with her fiancé Egor Tarabasov last month after an explosive incident caught on film in which it appears he physically abused her. "No woman can be hit like this and stay with that person if that person isn’t prepared to say sorry," she said in an interview with The Daily Mail last month. Apparently, she's still waiting for that apology.

"Maybe I go back to blonde? #noboyfriend#stillneedimsorry," the caption on the first bikini photo from an old Terry Richardson photoshoot reads. (Let's leave aside the fact that Terry Richardson probably owes a few women apologies, too.)

The second photo's caption reads "Like Eminem said 'patiently waiting' #N2LTSS." That hashtag likely stands for "not too late to say sorry."

Lindsay, I don't know the details of your relationship with this guy, but from my perspective, you shouldn't go back to him even if he does say sorry. Just in case you're reading Someecards.

Here are the best TV news bloopers from this absurd August.

Happy Labor Day weekend! Besides the three days off and the solemn contemplation of how unions fought for decades to establish decent working laws for everyone before being crushed under the heel of capitalism, let's also celebrate the end to one of the stupidest Augusts in memory. Instead of recapping the idiotic events of the actual news, let's laugh at all the time local news anchors screwed up at their jobs.

OK, let's all try not to mess it up so badly this month.

'Futurama' voice actor Billy West reads quotes from Donald Trump's weird doctor as Dr. Zoidberg.

Billy West, the actor who gave voice to many of the characters on Futurama, has been getting a lot of attention this election for reading Trump quotes in the voice of Capt. Zapp Brannigan, but now he's tapped another fan-favorite, Dr. Zoidberg, to read quotes from Trump's doctor.

Dr. Harold Bornstein is Donald Trump's physician and the author of the strangest medical document in political history ("If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency").

He's also become a viral sensation after an interview in which he revealed he wrote that letter in five minutes using Trump's language style because he gets nervous under pressure and was busy that day.

If you enjoy this Futuramatization of the election, check out West's "Make America Brannigan" series of Trump quotes:

Kanye wants to design school uniforms.

Hey, guess what? Kanye West told TMZ he wants to design school uniforms to end bullying and classism. Maybe after that, Kanye will make edible clothing to end world hunger.

I wanna do school uniforms in Chicago also, for all the city of Chicago, just for a starting point to eventually ending classism and bullying worldwide.

Even though it's really fun to make fun of Kanye—like, really fun—he's sort of on to something with school uniforms. The National Center for Education Statistics reports that the use of school uniforms in urban school districts is on the rise, especially in areas with high rates of gang-related violence. On the other hand, the American Civil Liberates Union has been vocally against school uniforms, contending that they infringe on students' freedom of speech.

All that being said, is this something Kanye should be pushing, or should he stick to dressing Kim and save public education policy for the experts? We'll let you decide.

If he is able to do it, it's probably because he's so blessed. After all, as he said at the VMAs.

I am Kanye West, and that feels especially great to say this year.
