Madonna is a mom again: the singer adopts a set of twins from Malawi.

Madonna has just expanded her family by two 'material girls' after confirming that she has adopted twin sisters from Malawi, Africa. The 58-year-old pop singer shared the happy news by posting a picture on Instgram of herself walking hand-in-hand with her new daughters accompanied by this emoji-laden caption:

I can officially confirm I have completed the process of adopting twin sisters from Malawi and am overjoyed that they are now part of our family. I am deeply grateful to all those in Malawi who helped make this possible, and I ask the media please to respect our privacy during this transitional time. 🙏🏻 Thank you also to my friends, family and my very large team for all your support and Love! 💘🦋🦋🌺🌼🌸🦋🦋🙏🏻🙏🏻✈️✈️😂🤣🦋🦋♥️🌺🎈♥️

The two girls join Madonna's other children, Lourdes Ciccone Leon, 20, Rocco Ritchie, 16, Mercy James, 11, and David Banda, 11. Mercy James and David Banda were also adopted from Malawi.

Although Madonna initially denied adoption rumors, she appeared in Malawi's High Court on January 25 to ask for permission to adopt again. In 2006, Madonna explained to Oprah that is notoriously difficult to adopt children from Malawi because there are no set adoption rules or laws in place. Madonna has also supports Raising Malawi, a foundation that supports the country's 1.4 million orphans and vulnerable children.

Teen's horrifying video of something wriggling out of her pizza is your worst nightmare.

Are you craving pizza even though you're still trying to lose that holiday weight? This video may help turn you off pizza for a while. It will also make your skin crawl.

Speaking of crawling, when 16-year-old Tia Neylan from the UK purchased a take-out pizza, she probably didn't expect a living creature to come crawling out of it. And yet, that's what happened.

The teen filmed the horrifying scenario and you should watch if you dare:

Neylan posted on Facebook warning others not to purchase pizza from this literal wormhole:

Don't order from Express Pizzeria, Norton High St, Stockton-on-Tees, open box the to find this, fucking disgusting....

Posted by Tia Neylan on Sunday, February 5, 2017

She wrote:

Don't order from Express Pizzeria, Norton High St, Stockton-on-Tees, open box the to find this, fucking disgusting. Returned it and all they had to say was "its cheese". Family has been ordering from there for years and have had nothing bad to say about them before but this 😷

The teen, who had already taken a bite of the pizza before she noticed the insect, told GazetteLive:

I literally just threw up everywhere. I even had a little break down. As you can imagine, it was obviously a shock for me and my family. I didn’t even notice it until I’d taken a bite from a slice. I looked at the pizza in the box, as you do, and there it just was wiggling around.

The owner of the pizzeria is sticking to his guns, claiming the story is fake. “When I watched the video, I was upset because for an insect to survive 400 degrees—that is impossible,” the owner, Mr. Bashir, told GazetteLive. “Some people have said it was already in the box but insects don’t survive this environment."

But unless this girl is an insect-whisperer I don't know how it's possible to fake a video like this. It must be real, unfortunately.

And as tragic as this story is for pizza lovers, on the other hand it's also a story of triumph about an insect who miraculously survived being cooked inside a pizza and then made a valiant escape.

After writing this story I'm still craving pizza. Which is a testament to the power of pizza. No wonder that insect wanted to live inside one.

College student receives a hilariously concerning text about a 'pregnancy test.'

Monday, a college student named Hannah posted to Twitter a screengrab of an extremely concerning text conversation she had with a kid from her English class. Within 24 hours, her classmates stupidity went viral.

"Umm should I be worried about this kid from my English class?"

Yes, Hannah, you should be very worried.

Jeremy from Transcendentalism, you never got your temperature took? If this isn't a scream for more funding to reproductive education, I don't know what is.

Cop responds to 911 call to break up a 'fight' and ends up breakdancing in viral video.

Reason #18956604 to move to Canada: On Sunday night, a Toronto police officer responded to a 911 call about a "fight." But when Constable Jarrod Singh showed up at the scene of the "crime," instead he found a university dance troupe filming a music video, the CBC reports.

"I saw eight people gathered around one person, so I can see how a member of the public thought it was a fight," Singh told CBC. "But when I got closer I could see he was breakdancing in the middle and there was someone filming it."

Then, it must've been a slow night in Toronto, because this totally chill cop decided to join in on the action. Turns out, he's got moves. Of course, this was all captured in a video which has since gone viral. You can watch it here:

This warmed the cockles of my cold, jaded heart, and clearly I'm not alone: the video has been viewed over 1.5 million times.

As far as I can tell, up north is a magical land where police officers dance in the streets and the president is a feminist hunk who welcomes refugees and literally everything comes with a side of maple syrup. Canada-land: where all your dreams come true.

Fierce little girl with rare illness sings 'Overcomer' and the internet is weeping.

Got tissues? You'll need a bunch. A little girl named Leah who has been battling a rare blood disorder was filmed by her mom singing her favorite song: Overcomer by Mandisa. The internet is feelings ALL the feelings.

The toddler has been in the hospital for nearly a year and has gone through two bone marrow transplants, said her mom Lindsay Chapman-Carroll, who posted the video to Mandisa's Facebook page. It has since been viewed more than 13 million times.

"She is such a light to all she meets," wrote Leah's mom. And you can see from the video that this little girl is beyond fierce.

You can watch the song here but prepare to get emotional:

My daughter has overcome two bone marrow transplants. She has spent the last 322 days away from her family and mostly in the hospital due to complications. However, she has the joy of the Lord and a love for music. Overcomer is one of her all time favs! Someone suggested I share it with you personally! She is such a light to all she meets....I hope she brings a smile to your face, too!

"Omigosh! It brought a smile to my face, tears to my eyes, and joy to my soul!" she wrote. "Lifting up prayers for Leah right now!"

Many others commented to show their support for Leah and her mom:

It's a tough world out there. But seeing Leah's triumphant joy, despite everything she's been through, is a reminder that the human spirit is resilient and powerful.

And keep an eye on Leah: she's going to be a star. She is a star.

Here's the alleged reason Tamron Hall left the 'Today' show, despite being offered millions to stay.

    0
    0

A few weeks ago, it was announced that Megyn Kelly would be joining NBC's Today show, and that as a result Al Roker and Tamron Hall would lose their hour-long segment. Around the same time, Hall announced that she would be leaving NBC for new opportunities. It was speculated that Hall's choice to leave was related to Kelly coming in and taking an hour slot that was helmed by the two most prominent black hosts at NBC. Today, People reported on some of the alleged reasons that Hall actually left the show, according to sources "close to Hall."

"Just a few days before all of this happened, she received an email [from an exec] congratulating the team for being number one," one source told People. Apparently, Roker and Hall had been consistently outpacing ABC's Live With Kelly for several weeks, and Hall had only joined Roker in October, after the abrupt and humiliating departure of Billy Bush. The source went on. "Then all of a sudden, it was like it vanished: Megyn Kelly is coming on board and who’s going to have to move? Tamron. That’s who."

BUT WAIT BECAUSE THERE ARE MORE SOURCES. And they say different things, including the fact that Hall always knew her hosting of the 9a.m. slot with Roker was temporary and there was no expectation of that being a longer contract. "The idea that she could have been at all surprised rings totally false. In the brief period of time in which she has been part of the 9 a.m. hour ensemble, the ratings have only shrunk." So, I'm confused: did the ratings increase and surpass ABC, or did they shrink? Or maybe they shrunk but still managed to surpass ABC? Either way, look out for this source because he or she is clearly a ruthless backstabber and you do not want him or her leaking your goss.

So, why did Hall leave? Let's let a third source weigh in. "She basically said thank you, but no thank you," said a real-life named source, the anchor’s good friend, TV writer-producer Mara Brock Akil. "Tamron’s a woman of integrity and she’s writing her own story." Hard to know who to trust for info on Tamron Hall, but here's what we do know about the broadcast journalist: she was the first black woman to ever host the Today show, and that makes her a badass. As Hall told People, "I know it’s rare to have a single black woman on morning TV. I love my job and the relationship I have with the viewers." She's gonna crush it. I hope she gets drunk and does karaoke at her going away party.

Alec Baldwin's brother Billy wants to continue the family tradition and play Eric Trump on 'SNL.'

My expected familial patterns include growing old in New England but resenting it, being ruled by Catholic guilt until you die, and having hair that reacts tragically to humidity. But wouldn't it be cool if your family tradition was something a bit more fun, like being expected to troll the Trump administration on SNL? Billy Baldwin, brother of Alec Baldwin, hopes to follow in his brother's footsteps and do exactly that, EWreports.

"I’ll play, like, Eric Trump. I’ve got the slicked-back hair," he said during an appearance on Access Hollywood. "I’m a little old for that, but yeah." And while Baldwin is mostly joking, it actually sounds pretty funny. Billy went on to say that Eric would be a good role for him, "because I just have to sit there and go, ‘Duh.'"

In the interview, Billy reveals that he was actually the one to plant the idea of playing Trump on SNL in Alec's head, back in early 2016. When the idea came to him, he texted his older brother and told him, "you should get on your hands and knees and crawl into Lorne’s office and beg him to play Trump on SNL." No crawling was required, but that Fall Alec joined SNL for numerous episodes as Donald Trump. And while it probably brings Billy some smug joy to know he birthed the impression that keeps our president up every Saturday night, hate-watching but unable to look away, feverishly publishing his insecurities on Twitter, not everyone in their family feels that way. Their brother Stephen is...a Trump supporter. "I just wonder if he’s having buyer’s remorse now," said Billy of Stephen. How is anyone NOT?? Well, there's always one black sheep in the family.

You can watch the interview with Billy Baldwin here:

Vogue attempted diversity on their latest cover and people are not impressed.

    0
    0

"No Norm Is The New Norm" reads the cover of Vogue's March 2017 issue, which they're calling the "Modern American Woman" cover, Us Weekly reports. And yet, of the seven women featured, there's only one plus-sized model (Ashley Graham, who shot her first U.S. Vogue cover in 2016), and none of the models have darker skin or a bone structure that strays away from the typical cover girl standards. Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid are both present, even though the two models are the definition of fashion elite and have done numerous Vogue covers previously. All in all, it feels a lot like the typical norm for the fashion magazine, despite what Vogue promised.

What does this say about the fashion world, that their attempt at diversity is so shallow? As a platform with millions of readers, the magazine had an opportunity to make an inclusive statement that would have been particularly poignant during a time when the White House's actions send a message that tolerance is the opposition and multiculturalism is dangerous. And readers noticed that they fell short. (Side note: it's insane that Trump's views are so extreme that a message of inclusivity feels like an attack on the White House, but that's the reality we live in.)

The comment started to roll in on Instagram, and readers were quick to point out the issues with the cover. For one, plus-size model Ashley Graham is the only model with her arm down, which suspiciously ruins the symmetry of the photo and was possibly done to cover her thigh. "You made the girl with the most generous leg cover it with her arm," one commenter noticed. "She's also the only one wearing black shorts instead of a print. Sad," another added. "I wanna see a dark girl w thick black hair not blonde or brunette," yet another commenter who identified as Mexican chimed in. And others were more straightforwardly aghast: "Omg WTF!!! This has to be on purpose! It is so obvious everything is wrong with this photo! Why are you doing this!???????"

Others took to Twitter to express their outrage and disappointment:

Fashion is a world that depends on exclusivity. For something to be cool, it has to feel unattainable. But diversity when it comes to body shape, size and color shouldn't be a part of what makes something fashionable, and proper representation should never feel unattainable. And when it comes to political statements right now, all I'll say is that people are taking note of who stepped up, and who stayed silent. Maybe Vogue should take a lesson from cool younger sister, Teen Vogue.

People shared the kindest words someone ever said to them. You'll cry.

For better or for worse, our actions have an affect on others—even the little stuff. Small comments made by a friend, relative, or even a stranger can stick with us for the rest of our lives. Fortunately, people can be very, very kind to each other, and those little words can inspire others for years. Recently, some people on Reddit shared the nicest, out-of-the-blue things anyone has ever said to them.

    1. Here's some good advice: tell people like merlot-o they're awesome.

"You give the best advice." Even if it's just one person who thinks that (at least she's the only one who has told me that), I love that someone feels like they can always come to me if they have a problem.

    2. With friends like sledge115, who needs boyfriends or girlfriends?

"But I have friends like you - especially you."

Context; I sent a few voice messages comforting my Turkish best friend after she had a break up. That was her response.

I never felt so loved by a friend before.

    3. So, like, a fairy tale princess, hiCousinElvin? High-five.

My boss told me I look like little birds help me get dressed in the morning

    4. Fiftydollarvolvo is a human being, and human beings like to be told they look good, without it needing to become a whole thing.

I was walking around the Smithsonian during a school field trip and this girl my age stopped me and said: "This is probably really creepy but you're just the prettiest girl I've ever seen. Just thought you should know." and walked away.

    5. WhitePartyHat made America great again.

"You made this place feel like home."

In high school I met a foreign exchange student from Italy about halfway through her stay in America. When we first met she told me about how alone she felt in America and how much she missed everyone back home. We had a "thing" for several months before she went home. A couple days before she left she told me that and it made me feel so good that I could bring her a little happiness and safety in a place so strange and far from home.

    6. You compliment a dog, you compliment sterlingphoenix.

"Your dog looks like she has a very happy life."

    7. GingerSnappd got compared to art.

"You look just like a painting"

It had been raining all day. I had just spent the last hour at the DMV, and at this point I was setting up for another hour at the social security office.

The woman next to me was very... put together. Sitting up straight, really nice clothes. She was talking to a man who I assume was her husband. She kept turning and glancing at me and it was making me feel a little self-conscious. I was tired, my hair was in a side braid that was starting to get frizzy because I had been rained on.

This lady was immaculate, and I am beside her looking like a wet dog.

She suddenly reaches out, placing her hand on top of mine, "You look just like a painting."

    8. You're one of the good ones, TheBlindGuardian.

"You're the only person who makes me feel like it's okay to be me". Friend of mine gets tons of shit from her family and her boyfriend over stupid stuff and has a history of eating disorders and depression. Told me this when we were talking one day and it simultaneously broke my heart and made my day.

    9. Incredibly kind words for jennambee, even if they weren't from Kitty Sanchez from Arrested Development.

I was working in commercial production in Los Angeles, attempting to balance the millions of coffee cups ordered - questioning why I even got a bachelors degree and on the brink of tears.

Moments later, a woman came up to me and said "You can do it. My husband was right where you are and is now a major producer. Just remember to remain kind and continue to work hard."

    That woman was Judy Greer.

    10. The highest praise for CapnCrunk666.

I'm a guy and I often get generic compliments about my eyes and eyelashes. One day I'm working at the register and a woman I'm helping says "You have beautiful eyelashes. They're so long and full! You'd make a great drag queen."

    11. Just showing basic concern can save a life—like it did for RADMChaos.

I was hitchhiking on my way to kill myself and the guy who picked me up asked me if I was okay. I was acting pretty normal and chipper and told him "oh heck yeah, And then he asked "are you sure?"

    12. BryceWasHere got his whole life figured out because a teacher was just that sweet.

My high school English teacher told me that he waits to read my essays until he has a coffee and time to relax. He also told me he will occasionally walk around to show other teachers the jokes in the essay.

That made me want to be a writer. He's probably the greatest teacher I ever had, and one of very few people I want to make proud.

    13. Right on, crazymrrainbow.

I went running for the first time in the hopes of trying to lose some weight. This lady walking her dog saw me nearly keeling over because I was so exhausted, and said to me

"You're doing an amazing job, don't give up!"

I'll never forget it, it gave me a second wind and suddenly I could keep going.

    14. Exactly, kernunnos77.

A friend asked me to hold his oversized drink while he was driving.

    "Sure man, no prob."

"Man, you're like the nicest person."

    "Thanks, I try to be."

"No, that's the thing - you DON'T try to be, you just are."

    15. You think this story from oh-mylanta is going to go a certain, familiar way…but then it doesn't!

Guy I'd never met before approached me on the street, "Miss, do you have a second for me to tell you something? I've seen you around downtown for a while now, and you just always look so confident and sure of yourself, and I just want to say that I admire that and I hope you never lose it."

    16. Like Shoesfromtexas, you too just might be a lot stronger than you think you are.

I was (and still am) working through grief. I felt like I was barely surviving, and my boss told me, "you at your worst is still better than some people at their best."

    17. It's just lunch, or to brightdeadlights, a whole lot more than that.

When I was a little girl, I'd guess around 10, a young woman I knew from church started having me over for lunch. I was heavily abused at home, and she was so kind. I'll never forget the look on her face one day when she hugged me and told me she hoped she could have a daughter just like me some day. It meant everything to me. At that time I couldn't imagine any mother wanting me, simply because it wasn't what I was raised to know. She eventually moved out of state and I missed her so much. I heard later she couldn't have children. As an adult now it just makes that memory so much more special in a much different way.

    18. Hurray_for_Candy is so nice they don't even remember what they did.

I once had flowers delivered to my office and the card said, "I know I will never see you again but I wanted to thank you for changing my life".

I had no idea who sent them, but I'll never forget it.

Edit: They weren't misdelivered, they had my real name and my nickname on the card. I called the florist and they had no name for me, paid for in cash.

Sorry that drinking 12 cups of coffee a day doesn't qualify you as an insomniac.

Obama's White House photographer has been throwing shade at Trump on Instagram for weeks.

Pete Souza, former chief official White House photographer for President Obama and Ronald Reagan, has been throwing some (not so) subtle shade at President Donald Trump on Instagram. How's he doing it? Souza is reposting some very specific images from the Obama administration any time the new president makes a controversial decision. Is the timing a coincidence? Probably not. Let's take a look.

First, Souza criticized Trump's interior decorating skills by posting this picture with the caption "I like these drapes better than the new ones. Don't you think?"

I like these drapes better than the new ones. Don't you think?

When Donald Trump issued his controversial Muslim ban, this picture of President Obama talking with a young refugee was posted. Hm, impeccable timing!

As Democrats and Republicans warred over if they should appoint Jeff Sessions as Attorney General despite his troublesome racist past, this photo popped up. Sessions was confirmed by Congress on Wednesday.

After Donald Trump nominated ultra-conservative judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court, Souza reminded us all of President Obama's pick, Merrick Garland. Garland was blocked by GOP leaders from taking the seat left empty by the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

    Merrick Garland. Just saying.

A photo posted by Pete Souza (@petesouza) on

Last week President Trump tried to start a beef with Australia on Twitter. Then Trump ended a call with the country's Prime Minister prematurely by hanging up on him and calling it was the "worst call by far." Coincidentally, Souza uploaded this picture of President Obama with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

Remember when Trump's team couldn't figure out how to turn on the lights in the Cabinet rooms so they were forced to work in the dark? Souza remembers, and posted this picture with the caption "those damn lights ;)."

    Those damn lights ;)

After billionaire Betsy DeVos was confirmed as Secretary of Education, Souza posted this picture of President Obama in a pre-K classroom.

As one little kid likely mourns the loss of his little teddy bear, Cork Airport in Ireland is celebrating their newfound viral fame—as they desperately try to reunite fluff with friend.

This pink Teddy should have been heading off on a flight earlier today but got separated from his travelling companions....

Posted by Cork Airport on Sunday, February 5, 2017

The lost "pink teddy" bear immediately became the airport's social media darling as they tried to spread the word and get him home to his "rightful little owner."

Hope he doesn't actually belong to a humiliated 40-year-old man too embarrassed to claim him.

After Teddy had his "dinner and tea" on day one of the search, the airport got a little more desperate—putting him to work with a pen and paper.

Day 2 at Cork Airport and Teddy is desperately trying to make contact with his family. Please contact us ASAP if you recognise Teddy. We are looking after our VIP royally in the meantime.

Posted by Cork Airport on Monday, February 6, 2017

"When we found Teddy alone in our boarding gate area, we knew he would be somewhat lonely," wrote the head of Cork Airport communications to ABC News, Kevin Cullinane, seizing on the viral moment with a vice grip.

Because when you're an airport—social media points are precious and so very rare.

"Rather than be home alone, Teddy is now part of the Cork Airport Communications Team and is enjoying our award-winning customer service while we all await an emotional reunion any day soon," said Cullinane.

On day 3, Teddy was still abandoned.

Day 3 at Cork Airport. Teddy has decided to entertain staff and passengers while waiting for his rightful little owner...

On day four, the teddy bear got another job. And a tiny little coat.

Day 4 at Cork Airport: Teddy is keeping busy helping Aer Lingus with baggage while waiting to be claimed back by little owner. Please keep up the sharing as we all love a happy ending.

Klutzy bridesmaid photobombs couple's bridal shots, wins the wedding.

Being a bridesmaid is hard work. But sometimes, if you're lucky, your reward for wearing a dress you hate, spending a ton of money, and helping make sure the big day goes smoothly comes in the form of a hilarious photo which you can treasure forever. Take this woman for example.

Bridesmaid Janessa James recently posted this behind-the-scenes shot of her best friend's bridal photos to Reddit. She wrote:

This is how I'm currently feeling about Wedding and engagement season coming up... {Yes this is an actual photo of me (extremely single) helping my best friend with her bridals. The photographer asked me to throw her train up and then dive out of the shot, and so I did. Very theatrically.

21-year-old James, who Brides describes as "perpetually single" (though isn't 21 a little young to be labeled 'perpetually single?'), says her hilarious accidental photobomb came after a few attempts to capture the shot fell short.

"The shot came about when the photographer and bride wanted that floating-gown look, and to do that I had to throw the train in the air and then quickly get out of the way," James told Brides. "After a while, the photographer realized that I wasn’t getting far enough out of the shot to properly cut me out, so I dove, and she caught the best moment ever."

Janessa may be a bridesmaid, but I don't think anyone would disagree that she and her accidental photobomb were the stars of this wedding. (No offense to the bride and groom.)

Beyoncé's pregnancy is even more incredible for this heartbreaking reason.

Beyoncé recently announced via Instagram that she's pregnant with twins. But before her big news, she and husband Jay Z had apparently "given up" trying to conceive, according to Us Weekly.

A source close to the singer told Us Weekly that the couple "had been trying and trying to conceive." Beyoncé was reportedly "frustrated" after in vitro fertilization attempts failed, so "They were looking into surrogates and adoption."

But just when it seemed she wouldn't be able to get pregnant, "out of nowhere, it stuck," the source told Us Weekly. Now, Beyoncé and Jay Z are "over the moon." And Blue Ivy, the couple's 5-year-old daughter, is thrilled as well: "She was asking about another baby forever. Now she gets two!"

Seth Meyers defends Jimmy Fallon for getting Trump elected: Nah, 'I'm the reason he won.'

Back in September, Jimmy Fallondefended himself over his infamous, hair-tousling interview with Donald Trump, and the inevitable backlash he got for making the budding TV-critic seem more approachable.

Quite the opposite, Seth Meyers isn't defending his role in Trump's election. He wants credit, as he told Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday. Start at the 4:30 mark for politics, start from the beginning for cute pics of baby Meyers.

"He's not a guy who loves a good zinger at his expense," said Seth Meyers, referring to his turn roasting Trump at the 2011 White House Correspondent's Dinner.

"I am the reason he won. I made fun of him in 2011 that's the night he decided to run."

Meyers isn't the only one to make this argument. Our own Johnny McNulty made the same case back in September.

"I kicked the hornet's nest, you rubbed the hornet's head," said Meyers. "Both bad... Look, it's not the outcome I wanted, but it's history. I got a man elected president. I want my points."
