5 times racists got schooled on social media to satisfy your thirst for justice.

Social media is a fun stew of selfies, self-promotion, and often, racist rants. But while social media gives a platform to plenty of awful people and their viewpoints, it also provides a platform for some epic clapbacks. Here are the five awesomest, most satisfying examples of racists and ignoramuses getting schooled online.

1. This troll who was offended by a show about black people got an inbox full of trollery:

While claiming that Netflix's Dear White People, a show about black students at an Ivy League university, advocates for the mass murder and extermination of Caucasians, a conservative tweeter going by the handle Baked Alaska accidentally shared his email address with the internet.

Equipped with that info, the internet got to work and subscribed him to 7,000 mailing lists.

One smart spammer even pretended to be a Netflix executive offering alternative programming that better suits Baked Alaska's need for comfort.

Who needs Netflix when you have troll justice for entertainment?

2. This 12-year-old with autism who shut down a classmate's "white and proud" dad:

So the father of my daughters class mate has texted this to my 12 year old!!!! If you know him from the number please judge him accordingly.. the police have been informed!!!

Posted by Gill Turner on Monday, February 27, 2017

Believe it or not, the fact that a classmate's dad was texting a 12-year-old isn't the worst part of this tale. Millie-Grace Turner of Manchester, UK was receiving an avalanche of texts from Dean Sheridan, a father of her classmate in response to a feud between the girls. Sheridan called Millie-Grace's parents a series of slurs, and she stood up to him, took a photo and sent them to the police.

After an unhinged, long rant, Millie-Grace had a solid clapback:

You are REALLY bad at spelling, grammar and punctuation.

"It's important to know that because Millie-Grace is on the autistic spectrum, she often corrects people's grammar. She isn't being rude," Millie-Grace's mom Gill told The Mirror. But the internet did it see it as rude—they celebrated her bravery and fierceness standing up to a racist bully.

3. This mom who dropped a truth bomb in the comments of her son's racist Facebook rant:

When a guy—a true gem of a man—posted a racist meme about "how horrible immigrants are," his friends piled on until his mom jumped in with a big revelation.

Enter Mom:

The dude himself is a foreigner, which isn't an insult unless you're so damn racist.

Now that's quite the way to find out you're adopted. Imagine how he found out that Santa wasn't real.

4. The former president of Mexico, who is trolling President Donald Trump with consistently fiery burns:

Vicente Fox Quesada, former president of Mexico, is using Twitter to go after the biggest racist troll of all: one President Donald Trump.

Highlights include the following clapbacks:

Fox also tweets plenty about "the f**king wall."

Someone give this man a late-night show, stat (We could also use a Hispanic host/a host not named James).

5. The Muslim lawyer who brought the receipts called "history" when a white supremacist asked why there is no 'Christian ISIS':

Zooming in:

That's right, racist. Troll not lest ye be trolled.

Also, read a damn history book.

'Buttery and ashamed' squirrel gets stuck in dumpster, becomes internet legend.

This poor squirrel has been through a lot. Not only did he manage to get himself caught in a dumpster drain, he's also fully covered in butter. (Ugh, we've all been there, am I right?)

The Animal Rescue League in Boston, Massachusetts posted this photo of the poor little guy stuck in the drain to Twitter.

"This squirrel, buttery and ashamed, got stuck in the drain of a dumpster," they wrote. "Took him to [New England Wildlife Center] for a spa day."

Funny enough, "buttery and ashamed" is also how I describe myself after I've finished off an entire sleeve of cookies while watching old episodes of Parks & Rec on Netflix.

UPI reports that the efforts to rescue the squirrel began when a Quincy animal control officer tried to use rubbing oil to get him out. When that didn't work, a good samaritan suggested using butter. (Which is how our little squirrel friend became "buttery and ashamed.")

It didn't work initially, but rescue technician Bill Tanguay eventually jumped into the dumpster and was able to pull the squirrel free. They then sent the squirrel to the New England Wildlife Center, where he is expected to make a full recovery.

"The squirrel was feisty and suffered some minor abrasions, but was otherwise fine," officials said.

I'm glad that this little guy is going to be okay. And now I will be using the phrase "buttery and ashamed" as often as I possibly can.

Mattress flies off a truck but instead of causing an accident, it prevents one.

A motorist in Brisbane, Australia is lucky to be alive after a mattress flew off the top of a truck and hit his motorcycle as he was going 80mph into a tunnel.

Check out the terrifying video below.

Talk about a soft place to land!

According to Motor Bike Rider, motorist Aaron Wood came in contact with the rogue mattress as he was speeding down the highway, only for it to get trapped under the wheel of his bike and bring him to a gradual stop. The impact ripped the rubber grips off the handlebars of his bike, but besides a few cuts on his hands, Wood was able to walk away from the accident completely unscathed.

Police are looking for the driver of the Toyota Prado with the unsecured cargo, but are having trouble reading the license plate in the video.

Jesus take the wheel, and also grab some bungee cords because that load was not secure.

Just wanted to wish you a Happy Equal Pay Day unless that sounds sexist.

Dad tricks wife into thinking the whole family's gone bald. Her freakout is priceless.

Bobby Wesson is a dad and husband with a talent for Photoshop and a wife wise enough to know he cannot be trusted alone with the kid. He also knew she was a baldist (noun, a person who discriminates against bald or balding people). With all that in mind, he devised a prank so hilariously ruthless it will go down in internet history not just for the absurd images, but for her herculean reaction.

Wesson says he had the pics ready to go for a month, but waited until the perfect moment to pull the trigger. It happened to be April Fool's Day. He knew he had to prank her while she was at work, but he didn't want to do it during a terribly busy time at work. How considerate! For some reason, I'm betting she doesn't appreciate all the forethought.

Imgur user 0nCominstrm has a friend who recently got the chance to meet beloved acting legend Tim Curry. Although the Rocky Horror Picture Show star has kept a lower profile since a major stroke in 2012 left him wheelchair-bound, he still makes an effort to meet his fans whenever possible.

In fact, this one fan was so impressed by Curry's determination to be a generous host despite his severe hardships, he wrote a Facebook post to pay tribute to this great actor and great man. 0nCominstrm shared the post on Imgur, where it's gone viral and turned thousands of fans into sobbing wrecks. Warning: it'll probably make you cry too.

A friend of mine recently went to an Expo in Dallas. While he was there he got to meet the iconic Tim Curry. His Experience with this lovely man was something I thought would share with the good folks of Imgur (sharing with his permission of course)

The world doesn't deserve Tim Curry. But thank goodness we have him.

Dad's viral post about his wife 'snuggling' their kids sparks huge debate about 'co-sleeping.'

Last week, Oklahoma City dad David Brinkley posted an emotional Facebook post about his wife "snuggling" with their kids while sleeping. He intended the post simply as an ode to his wife. But the post was shared by popular Facebook page Love What Matters and it went viral, sparking a huge debate about the (apparently controversial) practice of "co-sleeping."

"Do I have to squeeze into a small corner of the bed sometimes? Yeah? But my God how beautiful does she look holding my children? Making them feel loved and safe?" Brinkley wrote about his wife and the mother of their five kids.

"My wife is a best friend kind of woman. She has hours upon hours of long conversations with her friends ALL the time...

Posted by Love What Matters on Sunday, April 2, 2017

He wrote:

My wife is a best friend kind of woman. She has hours upon hours of long conversations with her friends ALL the time and occasionally I get to hear little pieces. Recently she was talking to a friend and they were talking about this thing called "co-sleeping" and I heard the other person ask 'doesn't your husband hate that? My husband would never let me do that.' This blew my mind and has bothered me for days. So I just decided to come out as a man and set a few things straight. I do NOT hate any part of what makes my wife the mother that she is. I would NEVER degrade or disregard anything that she feels like doing for my children. Do I have to squeeze into a small corner of the bed sometimes? Yeah? But my God how beautiful does she look holding my children? Making them feel loved and safe? The thing is that our wives only experience these little seasons in motherhood for a short time. They carry our babies, they birth them, they nurture them and maybe while they are little they let them crawl into our beds and snuggle. But eventually our babies get bigger they grow up they get "too cool" for snuggles so why would we as men want to steal a single second of this time from them? Being mothers is part of their identity and what's a year or 3 out of decades of life spent together? I just want to say that I am proud of the decisions my wife makes as a mom and I support every single one of them. I would never want to rob her of this time she has or these seasons that are in reality too short to not enjoy. Please respect your wives as mothers.

The post has since been shared over 25,000 times, receiving thousands of comments. Many parents are praising this mom and dad, and sharing their own positive experiences with "co-sleeping."

But many others are arguing that co-sleeping can put kids—especially babies—at risk.

The post received so much attention that Brinkley's wife, Alora Brinkley, responded with her own post to explain the circumstances in the viral photo:

Ok this is the LAST thing I'm going to say about this photo....seriously 😂 all my friends that know me personally knows...

Posted by Alora Brinkley on Sunday, April 2, 2017

She explained that the photo was taken during a "special nap time experience" and her kids were not in danger:

I laid down to nurse my daughter- my 2 year old son came in to snuggle with his baby sister. My husband supervised this entire experience and made it possible for me to comfortably lay with them both like this as he very lovingly and carefully watched over us.

And she added: "We would never put our children in a dangerous situation and our night time sleeping looks completely different than this."

The practice of co-sleeping remains controversial and even parenting experts can't seem to agree on whether or not it's safe for kids. But even if you disagree with how this mom chooses to raise her kids, she made some good points about the culture of cyber-bullying and mom-shaming:

It's impossible not to offend someone with a difference of life or opinion and that's so sad to me.

To say hurtful things just because you don't like a picture or don't like a post that you didn't have to read in the first place is just an unnecessary waste of time. It's ok to just be ourselves.

Hell yeah.

Gordon Ramsay's insults sound so much lovelier when John Legend is singing them.

Chef Gordon Ramsay and John Legend really couldn't be more different— Ramsay is basically known for screaming scathing insults at cooking show contestants, while John Legend is famous for his silky smooth singing voice and killer piano skills.

However, the two came together for a sketch on The Nightly Show where John Legend set some of Gordon Ramsay's most iconic insults to music. With Legend writing the melodies and Ramsay inadvertently providing the lyrics, these two make beautiful music together.

Ah yes, Legend and Ramsay go together like peanut butter and clam sauce, but how can you go wrong with lyrics like, "I'll get you more pumpkin and shove it right up your f****** arse" and "How the f*** did you burn ice cream?"

Though the"Gordon" album is fictitious, Gordon Ramsay might want take a page out of Legend's book— you catch more flies with a honey-smooth voice than by screaming profanities at people. But hey, Gordon Ramsay without his sharp tongue and fiery temper is just Jamie Oliver.

Parents furious after school starts 'branding' kids who don't have their lunch money.

As if kids who don't have money for lunch don't have enough to deal with, this school in Arizona is "branding" students' arms with a stamp that says "LUNCH MONEY" if they show up to school without it. Seriously, WTF??????

When Arizona mom Tara Chavez's son came home from school with a stamp on his wrist, her horrified friend shared the story and a photo on Twitter, where it went viral:

He wrote:

My friend's son came home from school Thursday with a stamp on his arm that said "LUNCH MONEY" because his account was low. And this is apparently the way at least one school in Arizona is notifying parents of dwindling lunch funds. Looks like shaming to me. Like, y'all couldn't send a note? Y'all couldn't think for two seconds about the numerous references of branding someone as a stigma?

He also pointed out that the stamp itself is awful because "it's not like a fun, colorful stamp an elementary school kid would enjoy having," it's just plain "black text." He added: "If a kid's parents don't have any money to deposit to the child's account...do they just keep stamping the child everyday? Seriously."

Twitter seems to agree that this is an unacceptable way to treat kids.

Unfortunately, this is nothing new. Last summer an elementary school in Alabama made the news when it stamped "I need lunch money!" on a third grader's arm. But just because it's been happening for a while doesn't make it okay.

And as this woman pointed out, there is a WAY better way to do this that doesn't shame the kids:

Chavez explained what happened in an interview with Buzzfeed:

"My kid’s really weird about stuff like that, so I asked if he was given a choice by the lunch lady and he said, ‘No, she just grabbed my wrist and put the stamp on.'," she said. "I was surprised. Normally I get a slip in his folder when he needs more money."

She added that the worst part, for her, was how upset her son was. "He was screaming and crying the entire time," she said. "He was humiliated, didn’t even want me to take a picture of it."

Hey, here's a radical idea: what if the government made sure all kids had school lunches so no kid has to go without food OR get their arm stamped like cattle? This is simply not okay.

Teen gets into Stanford by repeating a hashtag 100 times in a row on his application.

Ziad Ahmed, a senior at Princeton Day School in Princeton, New Jersey, has just achieved his dream of being accepted to Stanford University. In addition to that great honor, he is currently enjoying viral fame after tweeting a unique answer he provided on Stanford's application questionnaire.

He didn't explain why!
I guess they got the message.

If you're in high school and you're thinking of trying a similar move on your own application, you might want to think twice. It's not like this was the only factor motivating Stanford's decision—Ahmed is a very impressive young man. For his efforts as an activist, he was named one of MTV's top nine teens changing the world, and one of Business Insider's top 15 young prodigies. Here he is posing with Hillary Clinton.

procrastinating thru politics 🇺🇸 #hillaryclinton #democrat #election2016

A post shared by Ziad Ahmed (@zidolikespies) on

He's also met Barack Obama, and many other leaders on the left. When it comes to activism, his credentials are undeniable. So when he wrote #BlackLivesMatter 100 times in a row on his application, the Stanford admissions office knew he meant it, and wasn't just rushing to finish his form before the deadline.

But despite his impressive resume, Ahmed didn't think Stanford would go for his bold strategy. He told Mic,

I was actually stunned when I opened the update and saw that I was admitted. I didn't think I would get admitted to Stanford at all, but it's quite refreshing to see that they view my unapologetic activism as an asset rather than a liability.

Of course, not everyone on the internet is as big a fan as Stanford is. As his tweet went viral, trolls came out of the woodwork to try to drag him down into their muck.

But most people are supportive of Ahmed and his ideals.

Good luck to Ziad Ahmed in his future studies! Although obviously, this kid doesn't need it. He's going to be ruling us all within 10 years.

Donald Trump booed by construction workers after telling them how much they love him.

On Tuesday, Donald Trump was booed by some members of the audience he was speaking to for the 2017 North America’s Building Trades Unions National Legislative Conference. The audience was made up of construction workers, some of whom were also holding up "Resist" signs according to Washington Post reporter Abby D. Phillip. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that that probably didn't make Donald Trump too happy.

Phillip tweeted about the president's mixed reception at the conference, mentioning both the "Resist" signs and the jeers from the crowd.

At the time, Donald Trump was once again bragging about his Electoral College win, assuming that the entire audience of construction workers were Trump-supporters. He said,

The Electoral College is very very tough, they say almost impossible for a Republican to win, but I had the support of, I would say, almost everyone in this room. We had tremendous support. No, we did. We had tremendous support. We had tremendous support. And I'll tell you, we really had the support of the workers. We had tremendous support of the workers.

But apparently, someone had neglected to let the workers know about their unanimous "tremendous support," since some of the workers in the room seemed to disagree. Huffington Post's Igor Bobic tweeted that when Trump said he had everybody's support, someone yelled out "Nope, nope!," which was followed by laughter and booing from some of the construction workers.

Realizing, finally, that not everybody in the room was a fan, Donald Trump added, "Well, would you like to make a change, folks? Would you like to make a change? 'Cause if anybody would like to make a change, you won't be having so many jobs, that I can tell you. Your jobs would be, be a whole different story."

Hmm, that comes off almost like a threat, doesn't it? Check out that part of the speech in the video below (and feel free to boo if you want).

Jay Z and Beyoncé's never-before-seen wedding photo is making fans squeal.

Nine years ago today, music's favorite power couple Beyoncé and Jay Z exchanged their wedding vows. Jay and Bey famously value their privacy, so we haven't seen photos from their wedding (other than the ones in this music video) - until now. In honor of their anniversary, Beyoncé's mom, Tina Lawson, shared this never-before-seen, super secret wedding photo on Instagram.

"9 years already???" Lawson wrote. "Congratulations to the Carters on their Anniversary (that's my arm fixing the dress lol). That's my minister Rudy Rasmus who married Solange, Beyonce and me."

According to E! News, Jay Z and Beyoncé didn't sell any photos of their wedding to magazines, nor did they share any online. (Because it was 2008, before social media's Golden Age began.)

The text treatment on the photo is causing many people to believe it came from Beyoncé's official website. Some fans are hoping this means there are more SUPER SECRET WEDDING PHOTOS coming our way. Only time will tell.

Here's why Ian McKellen didn't play Dumbledore in 'Harry Potter.' It's not that they didn't ask.

Sir Ian McKellen, the iconic actor behind the bearded wizard Gandalf in Lord of the Rings, could have achieved sorcerer Bingo by playing Dumbledore in the third through eighth Harry Pottermovies.

If he did, he would have avoided a ton of confusion from casual fans—many of whom just assume he did play Dumbledore. Alas, he did not. The role was originally played by Richard Harris, and by Michael Gambon when Harris passed away in 2002.

The original Dumbledore, played by Richard Harris.
The second Dumbledore, who looks exactly the same, but I assure you was played by Michael Gambon.

In an April interview with BBC's HARDtalk, Ian McKellen explained why he didn't take the role when the producers approached him with the quest.

Apparently the original Dumbledore, Richard Harris, had once mentioned that Ian McKellen—in addition to actors like Derek Jacobi and Kenneth Branagh—were "technically brilliant, but passionless." McKellen called that "nonsense." But it affected his decision when it came to Harry Potter.

(Say what you will, Dumbledore definitely had passion.)

"When they called me up and said would I be interested in being in the Harry Potter films, they didn't say in what part. I worked out what they were thinking, and I couldn't... I couldn't take over the part from an actor who I'd known didn't approve of me."

"You mean you could've been Dumbledore?" clarified interviewer Stephen Sackur.

"Well, sometimes when I see the posters of Mike Gambon, the actor who gloriously plays Dumbledore, I think sometimes it is me," laughed Gandalf.

He's certainly right about the resemblance. Well that, or all older dudes with long white beards and magic powers look the same.

Michael Phelps got a crazy goggle tan and now he's a meme again.

Michael Phelps may not actually be returning to Olympic swimming, as he jokingly said he was on April 1st (psych!). But he has returned to another one of his specialties: becoming a meme!!!

The Olympic swimmer was in attendance at the NCAA championship game in Arizona yesterday, where someone snapped him looking like he just spent a month on a cruise ship and forgot to pack sunscreen:

Seriously though, has anyone told him about sunscreen?? That looks painful. But not so painful that we can't roast him on Twitter, just like the sun roasted his face. Get it?!?!?!?

Here are some of the best responses to Michael Phelps' tan on Twitter that are way funnier than mine:

And as SB Nation pointed out, this guy can't seem to leave the house without becoming a meme.

Others are just trying to figure out how in hell he got that weird tan.

All signs point to swimming goggles. That would make sense, right?

A little detective work (I checked his Instagram, i'm Sherlock Holmes!) reveals he was recently filming something for Discovery’s Shark Week. So a goggle (or sunglasses) tan seems to be the explanation for all this.

Seriously though, someone tell this man about sunscreen.

Don't tell Bill O'Reilly it's National Hug a Newsperson Day.

Ivanka Trump's neighbor who toasted protestors in a fur coat is just as cool as she seems.

When a protest party marched to Ivanka Trump's DC home to dance and draw attention to climate change, her neighbor Dianne Bruce couldn't resist checking it out. Now, a photo of her fur coat-clad toast has become the latest viral sensation.

Bruce spoke to Peopleand Cosmopolitanabout her newfound status as an icon on #TheResistance, and the wine.

“I couldn’t resist, it was just great fun, it really was,” Bruce told people. “I love seeing people having fun and doing what they do. It added pizazz to the neighborhood.”

The now-legendary fur coat made its appearance for practical, rather than stylistic, reasons. Bruce was eating dinner with her husband and father when she heard the music, and went to check it out: “I went back in, it was chilly enough, and I thought I’d grab the first thing I could find. It wasn’t a statement or anything, it was just neighbors enjoying some fun on a Saturday night.”

Cosmopolitan asked Bruce the other question on everybody's mind: "What were you drinking?"

"Probably a very nice pinot grigio," she said. "I would love to say Champagne, but it was probably a pinot grigio."

Bruce works as a philanthropic fundraiser, and has lived in DC's Kalorama neighborhood for 20 years. She told Cosmo that she is a "liberal democrat," and is "not particularly crazy about the Trump administration," and not just because they've ruined her neighborhood.

Being Ivanka Trump's neighbor, a dance party/protest is the least of the inconveniences Bruce experiences. She tells Cosmopolitan, just as sassy as you dreamed she would be:

I don't know why they chose the house. I think it's a difficult house to secure. It's on a corner, it's very exposed. And they immediately put up tacky saw horses wrapped in fluorescent tape, and crowd barriers. And we weren't allowed to walk on the sidewalk. You just thought, "Are you really that important?" And now they've just put a tacky Johnny on the Spot [portable toilet] out on the sidewalk of our neighborhood. I guess it's for the Secret Service. I'm like, "Ewww, really?"

I'll drink to that.

Don Lemon claps back at Bill O'Reilly's attack with savage tweet.

Fox News' Bill O'Reilly has been in the news a lot the last few days after it was revealed that the network has paid over $13 million in settlements over the years to women who accused the anchor of sexual harassment.

But Bill O'Reilly apparently won't let a few sexual harassment allegations get in the way of his picking fights with anchors from competing news networks. On Tuesday, O'Reilly called out CNN's Don Lemon for failing to cover a story about former National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, in a tweet.

Don Lemon's response was perfectly savage.

"False. I did not refuse to cover the story," Lemon tweeted. "But I did cover your sexual harassment allegations. Did you?"

The internet loves a good clap back, so naturally, Twitter users loved seeing Don Lemon shut down Bill O'Reilly.

I think we can declare Don Lemon the winner of this Roast Battle.

Football player brings his 'bestie' with special needs to prom and Twitter is in love.

Tahj Oliver is a senior at Oswego East High School in Illinois. Last month, he asked his good friend Evelyn Araujo, who has special needs, to be his date to prom.

Tahj, 18, is a football player and student athlete and he said he's "always wanted to do something like that as far as a student athlete going to the special needs prom," he told BET. "Me and Eve text all the time."

In the video of his "promposal," you can tell Araujo was pretty psyched about the invitation.

She said yes! Her mom was moved as well, and tweeted about it.

But if you thought this story had already reached peak heartwarming, just wait.

Tahj and Evelyn went to prom on Sunday. And clearly, they stole the show.

"The best part of the dance was the slow dance because, before the prom, we texted each other songs that we want to slow dance to and her mom and I made it happen," Tahj told BET.

He even serenaded her! This guy is putting all prom dates in history to shame.

Like a true gentleman, Tahj tweeted about what a great time he had.

And Evelyn sweetly tweeted about her "guy."

I could barely get through this story without crying. Correction: I cried.

And I'm not the only one.

Twitter is getting all emotional.

And Tahj has a lot of fans.

So does Eve.

These two are friendship #goals.
