Charlie Murphy's final tweet before he died is beautiful and kind of heartbreaking.

On April 12th, comedian Charlie Murphy passed away after a long battle with leukemia. Murphy was known co-writing comedies like Norbit and Vampire in Brooklyn with his brother, Eddie Murphy, as well as touring the country with his fellow comedy legends on "The Comedy Get Down." Additionally, he also frequently appeared on Chappelle's Show, most notably in parodies ofTrue Hollywood Stories. Remember this?

According to TMZ, Murphy's family was shocked by his passing, citing that the comic seemed to be getting better and was undergoing chemotherapy. The morning of his death, an inspiring final tweet was sent out from Murphy's Twitter account that may have indicated that the comic knew that he was about to pass.

The perceptive tweet was not lost on Murphy's Twitter followers.

We can only hope that Prince and Charlie (and okay, Rick James, too) are sharing some pancakes and cracking some jokes up in heaven right now.

RIP.

Outrage across the board after 'Survivor' loser outs transgender contestant on-air.

Over an excruciating 15-minute segment to end Wednesday's episode of "Survivor," a desperate contestant outed another contestant as transgender, meeting instant outrage from the cast of the reality show, the host, and now the world at large.

A contestant named Jeff Varner began the "tribal council"—the ceremony at the end of each episode where one contestant is voted off the island—by saying he knew he would be eliminated that night. That struck one contestant as ominous.

"When somebody is that certain, a little feeling of unease creeps over me. I'm just preparing myself to be absolutely shocked tonight."

That line would prove prophetic, as Varner proceeded to make a desperate plea to vote out another contestant, Isaac, by pointing to a larger deception between him and other players.

"There is deception here. Deception on levels, Jeff, that these guys don't even understand," said Varner. "There's more."

"Continue," replied Survivor host Jeff Probst.

Varner then turned to Zeke Smith, who has identified as a gay man on the two seasons he's participated in Survivor, and asked "Why haven't you told anyone you're transgender?"

The outrage from everyone, Probst included, was immediate—as Smith sat stone faced in apparent disbelief. Varner tried to justify himself several times before breaking down in apology, but his initial response was telling: "What I'm showing here is deception."

Jeff Probst was vocal in shooting down that logic. "You're saying that by not revealing it, he's capable of deception. That's a giant leap in logic. Do you not see that?"

"It's a game for a million dollars, and I clearly have made the wrong choice tonight," said Varner. Varner was voted off the show.

After the airing of the controversial episode, GLAAD responded with a statement:

Zeke Smith, and transgender people like him, are not deceiving anyone by being their authentic selves, and it is dangerous and unacceptable to out a transgender person. It is heartening, however, to see the strong support for Zeke from the other people in his tribe. Moments like this prove that when people from all walks of life get to know a transgender person, they accept us for who we are.

And Zeke Smith himself penned a powerful response for the Hollywood Reporter, which begins like this:

I’m not wild about you knowing that I’m trans. An odd sentiment, I realize, for someone who signed up for two seasons of the CBS reality giant, Survivor. See, when I got on a plane to Fiji last March, I expected to get voted out third. I’d return home, laugh at my misadventure, and go about my life, casually trans in the same way that Zac Efron is casually Jewish.

(Zac Efron is Jewish?)

He also used the spotlight to make at least one joke on Twitter.

And a series of more important statements.

Tomi Lahren tears up, says she ‘feels betrayed’ over lawsuit against Glenn Beck.

Tomi Lahren opened up about her lawsuit against her employer, Glenn Beck's network TheBlaze, in an exclusive interview with ABC Nightline. The 24-year-old conservative pundit says that she's "deeply hurt" and "disappointed" but that she wants to be able to "just move on."

Lahren is suing TheBlaze for wrongful termination (and trying to get the network to let her keep her massive Facebook following) after she was fired from her show Tomi for pro-choice comments she made on The View. She told ABC, "I just want work and have the freedom to put my voice out there. And I want to interact with my fans and my followers — that’s all I want out of this."

When asked by ABC why she gets emotional talking about being fired, she told ABC,

It’s my job. This is my life. Without that, I feel lost. When your outlet is taken away from you, when your catharsis is stripped from you, and you don’t understand why, and you’re so disappointed, and you’re so blindsided by it, it hurts.

Lahren's position remains anti-abortion but pro-choice. She claims that she, personally, wouldn't opt for abortion (and has also advised friends against it) but that, as someone who views limited government, I do believe that during the first trimester, the option should be there for women.”

The situation is confusing, because even though her show has been pulled, Tomi Lahren is still under contract with TheBlaze. A spokesperson for the company said,

It is puzzling that an employee who remains under contract (and is still being paid) has sued us for being fired, especially when we continue to comply fully with the terms of our agreement with her.

The internet can not figure out this teen's confusing promposal sign. Can you?

In case you were not aware, "promposals" are thing now. Gone are the days of casually asking someone if they want to go to prom with you at their locker, and teens are now coming up with elaborate schemes to ask their dates out.

According to Buzzfeed, Marlen Williams, a high schooler from Texas, handmade this cute basketball-themed sign to ask out his date. Aw, that is so-- wait. WTF does it say?

"You'll run the I'll be 1 I'd love 2 to take a shot at prom #12 with you."

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

If you are just staring at the confusing sign like it is one of those optical illusion images that will reveal itself if you look long enough, you are not alone.

Twitter pretty much had a field day guessing what the sign is meant to say.

Someone tried to break up the sign to decode it, but Marlen confirmed that tweeter was incorrect.

Others edited the sign to "fix it."

But in the end, the girl ended up saying yes to this confusing promposal, so all's well that ends well, I guess.

What do you think the sign says?

We're all familiar with the beloved children's toy, Tickle Me Elmo, modeled after the adorable red monster from Sesame Street. Aw, we love Elmo! Look how cute he is!

Well, Science Mobile has decided to ruin the cute and cuddly Elmo for us forever. It all started when they posted a video to Twitter with the caption, "Ever wondered what Tickle Me Elmo looks like without fur?"

(I personally have not ever wondered that, but Science Mobile was determined to show me anyway.)

And here's the answer to that question: Tickle Me Elmo without fur looks like a demon baby robot sent to Earth from a distant planet with the sole mission to destroy humanity.

If this terrifies you to your very core and has you wondering if you can ever look at Elmo the same way again, you're not alone. In fact, everyone is pretty much in agreement that this thing is the stuff nightmares are made of.

Yeah, we're all scarred for life now. Happy nightmares!

Trump surrogate claims POTUS is the 'MLK of health care,' gets clapped back hard on live TV.

This morning on CNN, conservative commentator Jeffrey Lord gave Sean Spicer some real competition for the Most Offensive, Historically Inaccurate Statement of the Week Award when he called President Donald Trump "the Martin Luther King of health care." Fellow commentator and Democrat Symone D. Sanders was not having that and delivered a real kicker in her response.

With some thoroughly twisted logic, Jeffrey Lord compared Donald Trump vying to take healthcare away from poor people to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. fighting for civil rights because they both put bodies on the line.

“When I was a kid, the president [Lyndon Johnson] didn’t want to introduce the civil rights bill because he did not have the votes for it,” Lord attempted to explain. “Dr. King kept putting people in the streets in harm’s way to put pressure on for the bill to be put forward.”

Symone D. Sanders, a political commentator and strategist, got real in her response.

“Dr. King was marching for civil rights because people that looked like me were being beaten,” Sanders responded. “Basic human rights were being denied to these people merely because of the color of the skin. Let’s not equate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. — a humanitarian and Nobel Peace Prize winner — to the vagina-grabbing President Donald Trump.”

Twitter was all "you lost me at 'Trump is the Martin Luther King..."

I have a dream that people will stop using Martin Luther King comparisons to promote things MLK would be actively against.

Man tells internet why he won’t date ‘hot women’ anymore, internet trolls him into oblivion.

On Wednesday, theNew York Post ran an article entitled "Why I won't date hot women anymore," and wow, it is a DOOZY.

The article is mostly about a 40-something executive named Dan Rochkind who ever-so-bravely decided to give up dating "hot" women (a.k.a, 20 year-old swimsuit models) because he found them "flighty, selfish and vapid."

"I could have [anyone] I wanted. I met some nice people, but realistically I went for the hottest girl you could find," revealed Rochkind. He continued, "Beautiful women who get a fair amount of attention get full of themselves. Eventually, I was dreading getting dinner with them because they couldn’t carry a conversation."

Weirdly enough, Rochkind's fiancée, Carly Spindel, agreed to be part of the article that is meant to show how this dude decided to date less attractive women than he used to. The 30-year-old college graduate is currently vice president of a company, and is described as "merely beautiful" and "a softer beauty," whatever that means.

This is what she looks like, by the way.

Poor guy really had to settle.

At least they look happy-ish? Does this man know how to smile?

Anyway, the whole thing is an insane and infuriating read, including the bit where theNew York Post references a statistic that says "researchers looked at the top 20 actresses on IMDb and found that they tend to have rocky marriages," as if that has anything to do with how hot they are. Newsflash: if someone stays married for 10 seconds in Hollywood, it is considered a long time.

Anyway, Twitter had no qualms about dragging this dude through the mud for being so damn shallow regarding women. Here are the 23 funniest takes on the offending article:

'Traumatized' woman's search for a hookup turns into a deep conversation on abuse and healing.

In a conversation that's going viral on Imgur, a young Australian woman posted on the anonymous messaging app Whisper, asking if anyone wanted to get together and have sex, to help her get over her ex. Amid all the dudes trying to take advantage, one person decided instead to give her a much-needed pep talk, and personal advice on how to deal with pain and abuse. Their conversation was uploaded with the title "How To Free Yourself From Abuse." While this advice may not work for everyone, it's definitely made an impression on the people who've read it.

Reaction to the conversation on Imgur was mixed. Some thought it was inspiring, while others thought the responder was overstepping by offering unsolicited and unqualified therapy to a person in crisis. But regardless of how you feel about the advice itself, it's certainly nice to see someone reach out to a stranger in pain, instead of trying to take advantage of them.

If you are or have been the victim of domestic abuse, here's a list of resources you can turn to for help.

Jimmy Kimmel has absolutely HAD IT with "celebrity promposals," the viral trend wherein a teen reaches out to an adult to be their date, assuming the star wouldn't be arrested for crashing a high school dance.

A kid in Arizona recently went viral for his elaborate La La Land parody to pop the prom question to Academy Award-winning 28-year-old Emma Stone, which Kimmel calls "adorable...but also terrible."

"This is a hostage situation," Kimmel says, because "if Emma Stone didn't write him a letter, she would look like a jerk."

While, sure, asking out a celebrity gives the kid an excuse if they get shot down, adult humans don't have the time to respond to every teenage fantasy.

"Can we please go back to a time before selfies when teenagers had low self-esteem?"

Amen, Kimmel. Amen.

8-year-old learns to drive from YouTube, goes on adorable joy ride.

Kids nowadays are growing up in an era where they can learn almost anything they want via the internet. (There are tutorials for everything! Even poop emoji hair!) Take for example this 8-year-old boy in Ohio who used YouTube tutorials to teach himself to drive, and then went to McDonald's.

According to local news station Fox 8, the 8-year-old boy and his 4-year-old sister started getting some cheeseburger cravings Sunday night around eight o'clock. Their dad had gone to bed early after a long day of work, and their mom was sitting on the couch with the kids when she fell asleep. With their parents asleep, the kids decided to begin their quest to McDonald's.

Witnesses saw the little boy driving his dad's work van, and called police. (As you do when you see a small child driving a work van.)

Officer Jacob Koehler told Fox 8 that the 8-year-old drove his sister about a mile from their home, going through four intersections and crossing railroad tracks. His journey also required a few right hand turns and a left hand turn. Amazingly, witnesses say he was obeying all traffic laws and driving the speed limit.

When they arrived at the McDonald's, a family friend who happened to be eating there notified the children's grandparents. Don't worry, the kids got to eat their cheeseburgers before the police got there.

When police arrived, the 8-year-old told them he had learned to drive by watching YouTube videos.

You can't make this stuff up.

Donald Trump Jr. dragged for snide tweet mocking 'triggered' LGBT college students.

Donald Trump Jr. not only shares his dad's name, but also his ridiculous use of Twitter.

Donald Trump Jr., who lives it up with a taxpayer-funded Secret Service detail, shared a Daily Caller article"University’s LGBT Students ‘Fear’ Arrival Of Chick-fil-A," and decided to use his platform as First Son to snicker at these kids like a Pepe troll.

LGBT students aren't concerned about the "yummy chicken sandwich," but rather with lining the pockets of the restaurant's president, who famously donates to anti-LGBT groups and allegedly discriminates against people with disabilities.

It's not the chicken, dude. It's the capitalism.

Wait until his step-mom hears about this.

Donald Jr. sure seems #triggered by people being #triggered.

While he clearly has no respect for the concerns of young LGBT people (or people other than himself), at least he didn't compare them to Skittles, right?

Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate hit with dodgy health violations report. (Avoid the meat.)

On January 26, mere days before the visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Florida health inspectors checked out the kitchen at Donald Trump's Florida estate/club, Mar-a-Lago. What they found was unsettling, and resulted in 13 violations. According to the Miami Herald, that's a record for a fancy club that charges $200,000 in initiation fees.

Not all of the violations were considered serious, but three of them were classified as “high priority,” because of the potential for illness-causing bacteria. The inspectors found raw fish that had not been treated for parasites, and they also found undercooled meat being stored in broken coolers.

Overall, the inspectors deemed that Mar-a-Lago's kitchen met the bare minimum health standards, but that's probably not comforting news to the club members and foreign dignitaries that frequent Mar-a-Lago. Because, besides the mishandled raw fish, the health inspectors also found inadequately cooled meat in two of the club's coolers. The meat should have been stored at 41 degrees, but the inspectors noted that the chicken was 49 degrees, duck and beef were 50 degrees, and ham clocked in at a truly disgusting 57 degrees. Ewww. The inspectors cited Mar-a-Lago for the coolers and they were ordered to have them emptied and repaired.

Other infractions include the too-cold-to-sanitize-hands water coming from the kitchen faucet, and the rusty knives stored in the walk-in coolers.

The Miami Herald reports that Donald Trump used to spend more time in the kitchen, but during the campaign and now that he's president, he hasn't had time to stay on top of it. When he was more involved, Mar-a-Lago used to pass inspections with at most one or two violations. For example, in 2015 the kitchen was cited for just two violations, but in 2016 it racked up 11. And after the most recent visit in January, Mar-a-Lago's kitchen got hit with the record-breaking 13 violations.

Hopefully the health inspectors' report will spur Trump to get his mess of a kitchen handled. No one wants to eat ham that's been stored at 57 degrees.

Just when you thought things couldn't get worse for United, SCORPIONS.

By now you've probably heard about the terrible PR nightmare United Airlines is facing after a doctor from Kentucky was forcibly dragged off a flight. Just when we thought things couldn't possibly get worse for the embattled airline, a scorpion falls out of one of their overhead compartments and stings a passenger.

According to Travel + Leisure, United passengers Richard and Linda Bell were on a flight back home to Calgary from Houston after spending two weeks on vacation in Mexico when a scorpion fell out of an overhead compartment and onto Richard.

They didn't recognize what the animal was until a passenger sitting next to them told them it was a scorpion. (Linda told Global News Canada she thought it looked like a cute little lobster at first.) Richard quickly got the animal out of his hair and dropped it onto his tray. When he picked it up again, it stung him.

Another passenger nearby threw the scorpion on the ground, stomped on it, and discarded the remains in the toilet.

When the plane arrived in Calgary, emergency personnel came on board to examine Richard. He declined medical attention and an EMS spokesperson said he "showed no signs of distress." (Other than being subject to scorpions falling from the sky.)

No one knows how the scorpion got on the plane, but the best guess is that it snuck on board in a passenger's luggage.

I guess United is now providing in-flight snacks and scorpion stings? Man, tough week.

Ivanka Trump's website asks queer chef for an interview and her response is glorious.

This is Angela Dimayuga, the executive chef of Mission Chinese Food, and a total badass who won't stand for bullshit from anyone. That includes the president's daughter.

Proud that "I Actually Wore This" for @rizzolibooks #TomColeman

A post shared by Angela Dimayuga (@swimsuit_issue) on

After Dimayuga was recently approached by a freelance writer who wanted to interview her for IvankaTrump.com, she shared screenshots of the exchange, including her eloquent, gloriously shade-filled response (Spoiler: She said NOPE).

Behold, #goals (click through to see her response):

"I would love to conduct an interview (via telephone/email) with you spotlighting your work as a strong female entrepreneur," wrote freelance writer Adi Heyman, who describes IvankaTrump.com as a "non-political platform of empowerment for modern working women."

Dimayuga wasn't having it. She told the Huffington Post she collaborated with her friend, activist Shakirah Simley, on the best response to this supposedly "non-political" request. Here is what she wrote:

Hi Adi,

Thank you for thinking of me. I’m glad you are a fan of my work so much that you want to provide more visibility for my career to inspire “other working women.” However, I’m for women who actually empower other women.

I don’t believe that IvankaTrump.com is truly “a non-political platform of empowerment for [women]”. So long as the name Trump is involved, it is political and frankly, an option for the IvankaTrump.com business to make a profit.

I don’t see anything empowering about defunding Planned Parenthood, barring asylum from women refugees, rolling back safeguards for equal pay, and treating POC/LGBT and the communities that support these groups like second class citizens.

As a queer person of color and daughter of immigrant parents I am not interested in being profiled as an aspirational figure for those that support a brand and a President that slyly disparages female empowerment. Sharing my story with a brand and family that silences our same voices is futile.

Thank you for the consideration.

And that, my friends, is how it's done.

Clearly Dimayuga is not the only one who is fed up with the Trump family's bullshit. The response to her Instagram post has been overwhelmingly positive.

"The sheer number of people that have been supportive just shows that there is a stronger and bigger community than I see on the day-to-day that are willing to actually help, protect, support women and those in marginalized communities," Dimayuba told HuffPo.

And since sharing the post, she said she has racked up an interesting new follower on Instagram: Ivanka Trump. We can confirm:

Maybe even Ivanka Trump is tired of the Trump family's bullshit? And if true, could you blame her? Come to the light, Ivanka! We're waiting.

Hello, here's a pair of jeans that unzip down your butt crack. (Just what you've been saying you needed, right?) According to Elite Daily, this pair of jeans is the result of a collaboration between Levis and ultra-expensive brand Vetements. Why the zipper down the ass? Well, we're not sure, but that's just how fashion is sometimes.

Maybe it's to let some air in on a particularly hot day. Maybe it's to let some air out after a really big bean burrito. Maybe it's because the companies were thinking, "What could we possibly do that hasn't been done before? Oh! Butt zipper! It's so crazy it just might work!"

Madonna's 20-year-old daughter Lourdes Leon is being bullied online for having armpit hair, according to Teen Vogue.

Yep. Although almost every living person naturally grows body hair, some people still get grossed out when a woman chooses not to shave hers. All it takes is a bit of pit hair or an unshaven calf to send the internet into a tizzy, causing a tidal wave of unwarranted opinions about someone else's natural body functions to flood the comments section of a post. Case in point? The celeb gossip blog Just Jared posted this shot of Lourdes revealing her fuzzy armpit, and the internet pretty much lost it.

#Madonna's daughter #LourdesLeon hangs on the beach with friends.

A post shared by Just Jared (@justjared) on

Of course, Lourdes probably didn't want her picture taken by paparazzi while she was just trying to have a low-key beach day with friends. Alas, now the entire internet is giving their unsolicited opinions on her grooming habits. In the comments section of the post, people have said that Lourdes is "dirty," "gross" and "ugly as f*ck."

Many commenters also are asking why she has shaved her legs and not her pits, and the answer is because it's her body and she can do whatever the hell she wants with it.

Good God, people.

Paris Jackson, Miley Cyrus and Lola Kirke have all gotten flack for their unshaven armpits in the past, but guess what? These women still DGAF about some online troll and their crappy opinion. Plus, Lourdes' mama Madonna is known for rocking her natural body hair, so it is safe to say that the 20-year-old ain't loosing sleep over the hair hate.

On Wednesday night, Anderson Cooper and his panel addressed Donald Trump's comments on his discussion with Chinese President Xi Jinping. According to the Huffington Post, the conversation between the two world leaders led to a Trump revelation that, in Donald Trump's own words, the escalating situation with North Korea is "not so easy" to resolve.

Here's the full quote: "After listening for 10 minutes, I realized it's not so easy. I felt pretty strongly that [China] had tremendous power [over] North Korea. ... But it's not what you would think."

You know, just the international crisis that hasn't been solved for 65 years. The one involving North Korea and South Korea—which are technically still at war because they've never been able to agree on a peace treaty. That one.

Apparently, Donald Trump has just now realized it's "not so easy."

Look how flustered Anderson Cooper is! He can't even speak! Isn't that funny? Isn't if funny how we're all in so much trouble?
