Daughter compares life at 27 with her mother's and boy, times have changed.

When you compare yourself with your parents, it is easy to feel like you've fallen behind. The difference between your parent's lives at your age and the life you're living now can seem pretty vast. Owning a home? Having a coupla kids? If you can't relate to your mother sometimes, you are definitely not alone.

Twenty-seven-year-old Alyssa Limperis of Condé Nast entertainment's The Scenesat down with her mother Linda, 57, to talk about how different their lives were/are at age 27.

Check out Alyssa Limperis' highly relatable (and very funny) video below:

Linda at age 27:“I had my first child ― my son.”

Alyssa at 27:“I have food babies when I eat burritos.”

Alyssa told Someecards that she had the idea for the video after she moved home to help take care of her dying father and noticed how much further along her parents seemed to be when they were her age.

So what was the most surprising thing she learned about her mother through making this video?

"She built a whole house at 23!" said Limperis. "I didn't even know how to build a salad."

Alyssa also told Someecards what words of wisdom she would want to pass on to her eventual children when they are 27:

"I would want to tell them that they are strong and beautiful and that I'll support them with whatever they do," said Limperis. "That's what my mama told me, and I'm grateful for her support and lovin' to make me feel comfortable with the decisions I've made."

5 people who won at life this week, despite the odds.

5. Mark Zuckerberg, because the college dropout finally accomplished something.

Mom, I always told you I'd come back and get my degree.

A post shared by Mark Zuckerberg (@zuck) on

The Zuck made it back to the campus where he ripped off the Winklevii and started Facebook to spite Rooney Mara, according to The Social Network. Your Facebook friend who you don't actually know went back to school to deliver the commencement address, and milked it just like the Facebook friends you've actually met.

Back in my old dorm room at Harvard.

A post shared by Mark Zuckerberg (@zuck) on

We get it. Harvard.

Back at Harvard where it all began.

A post shared by Mark Zuckerberg (@zuck) on

Did you go to Harvard?

In case you forgot, Mark Zuckerberg went to Harvard.

Despite Jesse Eisenberg's portrayal of him as a socially inept a-hole, the honorary "Dr. Mark Zuckerberg" actually gave a very lovely speech, calling on graduates to embrace globalism and a personal sense of purpose. While he insists that he's not running for president, his speech suggests otherwise.

Nonetheless, mazel tov!

4. French president Emmanuel Macron, who beat Donald Trump not once, but twice.

Handshake got Trump shook.

The newly elected President of France is as savage as he is handsome. In addition to crushing Donald Trump's tiny hand in a handshake battle, after a long walk down the red (well, blue) carpet, Macron swerved him at the last second to greet the leader of the free world, Angela Merkel.

Watch every second. Macron leads Trump on, walking in his general direction, and then makes a sharp turn towards Merkel, greeting her with open arms.

To exact his revenge, Trump nearly tore Macron's arm off.

It's one thing to pull the move at the NATO Summit, but another for Macron to post it for posterity and for the entire world to see.

The French: They are sauvage.

3. The student who got extra credit for drawing a meme on her math test.

Maeve Lindell, a high school sophomore in Texas, scored an extra seven points for an on point rendering of the latest Spongebob meme, Mocking Spongebob. Frustrated with exponential equations because who won't be (BeCaUsE wHo WoUlDn'T bE?), Lindell drew up a Spongebob to mock the question and it actually boosted her grade!

SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon nickelodeon thumbs up spongebob GIF

So, kids, the most important equation is as follows:

Math test + memes = extra credit.

2. Hot Felon, because he's partying it up in France with Nicki Minaj.

He modeled a male romper before it was cool.

Jeremy Meeks, the artist formerly known as Hot Felon got a modeling contract from his smoldering headshot mugshot and is now walking the runways and partying in the vicinity of celebrities.

The very gorgeous man was seen hanging out with Nicki Minaj in Cannes. The journey from felon to hanging out with celebrities in Cannes should be a movie screened at Cannes.

1. This guy who won at Plinko and reminded the world what joy looks like.

He's ready for his close up.

The Price is Right superfan Ryan got to live his dream of appearing on the game show and set a new record for both Plinko winnings and reactions. Ryan promptly loses his mind and you can't help but match his enthusiasm. What a damn delight.

I hope you don't forget how much I paid for your college when it's time to choose my nursing home.

We hope this video makes you as happy as it makes us.

On Thursday, a life-long fan of The Price Is Right named Ryan finally got his chance to be a contestant. Not only did his $1 bid give him a chance to play the classic game, "Plinko," but the $31,500 he won playing it set an all-time record.

Needless to say, he was more than a little excited. This is what pure joy looks like, my friends. (Ryan makes his $1 bid at around 0:57, and it's a non-stop thrill ride from there.)

In an interview with TMZ, the 23-year-old said he's been watching the show since he was a kid and even scheduled his college classes at Penn State around it. He plans to use his winnings to help pay for grad school. Aww! Yay Ryan!

We sincerely hope you have something in your life that brings you even a fraction of the joy that playing "Plinko" brings Ryan.

Piers Morgan reprimands Ariana Grande after Manchester bombing and no one is having it.

Piers Morgan, professional big mouth with a foot in it, has decided to share his thoughts on what he thinks Ariana Grande should have done in the days since the terrorist attack at her concert in Manchester, England on Monday night.

According to TMZ, Grande was"in hysterics" after learning of the bomb that went off at the end of her show, killing 22 people and leaving many others injured. That night, the distraught singer tweeted out this message to the victims and their loved ones:

Then on Tuesday, she canceled the rest of her tour in the wake of the tragedy and was pictured arriving home in Boca Raton, Florida.

We can imagine she was probably traumatized and wanted to be home. And yet Piers Morgan, who no one asked for his thoughts on the subject, tweeted that he thinks Ariana Grande should have stayed in England and visited the victims in the hospital. Because this is what the Queen (who lives in England and also this is part of her job) did.

Why would Piers Morgan use the Queen's empathy as a reason to attack Ariana Grande, who is already having a pretty rough week?

Oh, because he's Piers Morgan.

Most people by now would take a moment, realize they had tweeted in error, and pressed that handy "delete" button. Piers Morgan is not most people. Instead, he just keeps doubling down.

The internet is NOT having it and Twitter is shredding Piers Morgan over his comments.

(The singer is rumored to have offered to pay the funeral expenses for all of the Manchester victims.)

PREACH:

This guy's message was the most succinct:

Same.

Hopefully Ariana Grande hasn't read Morgan's tweets. We do, however, hope she has read this wonderful letter from a dad in Georgia, which has gone massively viral on Twitter.

He ends by writing, "Take care of you first. Your fans aren't going anywhere."

Love wins. Piers Morgan should try it sometime.

I spend my whole lunch trying to decide what to get for lunch.

Ariana Grande announced on Friday that she will return to Manchester, England for a benefit concert to honor and raise money for the victims of the May 22nd terror attack.

Grande praised her devoted fans, the "Arianators," for their "compassion, kindness, love, strength, and oneness" they've demonstrated over the past week in the wake of the tragedy.

"I am so sorry for the pan and fear that you must be feeling and for the trauma that you, too, must be experiencing."

She went on to add a message of defiance:

We will not quit or operate in fear.

We won't let this divide us.

We won't let hate win.

Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder and to live more kindly and generously than we did before.

"We will continue to honor the ones we lost, their loved ones, my fans, and all affected by this tragedy," she added. "They will be on my mind and in my heart everyday and I will think of them with everything I do for the rest of my life."

As internet news outlets everywhere declare "millennial pink" the color of the summer, it appears that Blac Chyna is declaring it the color of her hair. The reality star and mom to Dream Kardashian debuted a brand new pink pixie cut on her Instagram page earlier this week. (Guess Cara Delevingne isn't the only celeb who can rock the pink pixie.)

A post shared by Blac Chyna (@blacchyna) on

Blac Chyna has posted a bunch of pics of her bright pink hair, and in one post, shared that she loves her new look for its "Strawberry Shortcake vibes."

She is of course referencing the classic '80s cartoon character, who wears a hat the same color of Blac Chyna's new hairdo. For reference, here is a GIF of Strawberry Shortcake petting a cat.

In addition to the new color, Blac Chyna is also sporting a new haircut. It seems she's the latest in a string of celebs who are opting for a much shorter pixie cut.

Fun times 🎀

Ready for your mid-Friday cry? Let's do this!!! Tia Benbow is a beloved employee at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Columbia, South Carolina, whose co-worker Eric DeAndre Amos describes her as a "very loyal employee" who is "hard working, and determined to make sales."

Tia Benbow (center) with her boss (left) and co-worker

But Benbow, who commutes 40-minutes to work each day, recently had some health problems and subsequently, couldn't afford to get her car back from the shop. So she was forced to give her two-weeks notice on Monday, she told ABC.

Upon learning of her financial woes, the team's manager, Charlie Brown, organized for everyone to pool their money and they collectively raised $1,300 to help Benbow with her financial troubles, ABC reports. They had planned to surprise her at the end of the week, but when they heard she was putting in her two-weeks notice, they decided to surprise her earlier this week.

She lost it. And so will you, after watching the touching video of Benbow's emotional reaction to her co-workers' generosity, which Amos shared on Facebook:

PLEASE SHARE IF YOUR RESPECT LEADERS>BOSSES: Touching moment happened at Firestone Complete Auto Care Garners Ferry Rd...

Posted by Eric DeAndre Amos on Tuesday, May 23, 2017

Well, that was a much-needed break from a bone-chilling news cycle!

In the post, Amos wrote:

PLEASE SHARE IF YOUR RESPECT LEADERS>BOSSES:

Touching moment happened at Firestone Complete Auto Care Garners Ferry Rd in Columbia SC;

"Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power."
-Abraham Lincoln

Following the quote above, Charlie Brown showed just that. Tia is a very loyal employee at this establishment, hard working, and determined to make sales as a Tire Manager here. It's really hard to just not work for a great leader, Charlie not only leads us (his employees/team) towards a successful day each and everyday he works, but Is extremely thoughtful on our inputs aswell when it comes to improving our store in satisfying customers and us, also improving the stores overall performance. It doesn't stop there, this man treats us as if each and everyone of us is a very important contribution to his store, by thanking us every chance he get on everything thing we do (even on fixing our mistakes). By doing this and also treating everyone equal with no favoritism, and putting his foot down when needed, it makes you literally want to work for him. Tia at one point drove over an hour one way to work for Mr.Brown until she decided to move closer to make the trip down to 40mins, she made a few sacrifices to do so but done them because of the work environment we were in was worth it. Well in this particular incident we ALL fall on hard times every now and then you'll never know what's going on with the next person but in Tia case her situation threatens her future with us at Firestone due not able to make the trip back and forth, her work performance is outstanding and Charlie wasn't having it, though this isn't the first time he has done an very Generous Contribution toward helping his employees (that mostly comes out of his bonuses from our store) he pull us all together to make it possible to get her back on her feet again, and our team does just that!! We all pulled together and managed to get her the money needed to take care of her situation and continue working with us at this Store!!! Just wanted to thank Charlie for being one of the best Store managers out there and being extremely thoughtful of his employees, all I ask if you read this SHARE IT and let Charlie Brown get the recognition he well deserves!!

Benbow now has her car out of the shop and was back "hard at work" by Tuesday, Yahoo reports.

Meanwhile, Amos' post has been shared over 20,000 times and he followed up to say that the ongoing internet love has made Benbow "teary eyed everyday since the event." He said people have been flooding his inbox with offers to help, so he set up a GoFundMe to help raise some extra money for her.

"They care. They wanted me to stay," Benbow told ABC."I had put in a two-weeks notice but they did not want me to leave. They said I was the reason they were making money, because I was making them money. It really touched me."

We should all strive to treat our co-workers and fellow human beings with this much generosity and kindness. Be the tire sales team at Firestone Complete Auto Care you wish to see in the world.

Reporter tests out Disneyland's new 'Guardians of the Galaxy' ride on live TV. He was not prepared.

We were pretty bummed last summer when Disneyland announced that it would be changing its classic and much beloved Tower of Terror into a ride featuring characters from its popular Guardians of the Galaxy, but this video almost makes us forgive them for it.

You see, the new ride, Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!, just finished renovations and will open to visitors at Disneyland's California Adventure on May 27. To celebrate, Disney invited some media outlets for a special first-look at the new attraction. Local SoCal news station ABC 30 sent one of its reporters, a man by the name of Cory James, to the park to test out the ride. On live TV.

Apart from the addition of Guardians of the Galaxy storylines and characters, the new ride is essentially the same as Tower of Terror. Guests are seated in a gantry lift that goes up and down at random, giving riders a free-fall sensation.

Watching James experience the ride is honestly probably better than riding it yourself. His reactions mostly consist of high, piercing screams, and at one point, his co-workers in the studio legitimately become worried that he fainted.

Don't worry, he didn't actually faint. If you're planning to head to Disneyland and try out Mission: BREAKOUT! this summer, just make sure there are no camera crews around.

I hope bad weather doesn't ruin the Memorial Day plans I didn't make.

This woman stopping a car hijacker is either heroic or insane depending on your perspective.

An unknown woman in a red jacket became today's internet hero after going to extreme lengths to stop some hijackers from trying to steal her car. CNN tweeted out the "harrowing" security footage that shows the woman physically climb on top of her car to stop the hijackers from driving it away, and it might be the most badass thing we've seen since Beyoncé's last pregnancy photo.

Watch and behold the ferocity of a woman fighting for the one she loves:

NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES. Some wear red jackets that just look a lot like a cape.

There are, of course, a few mansplainers saying this woman should have handled the situation differently. Because apparently even human Wonder Woman faces criticism from the masses.

OK, sirs. Clearly this woman probably has, and knows about, insurance. She made her choice, to put herself at risk to save her car and make one of the fiercest viral videos we've ever seen (and we've seen them all).

Plus, as this woman pointed out, avoiding a call to your insurance company might be worth risking your life for.

This woman made another great point:

So did this woman:

Most of Twitter was impressed by her heroism.

Find someone who loves you the way this woman loves her car. And they will never, ever let you go.

Hanson released a new music video featuring their kids and we can't take the cuteness.

Beloved '90s boy band Hanson has been around for 25 years now. (We know, we feel old, too.) On Friday, to celebrate a quarter-century of making music together, the band released a music video for its brand new song, "I Was Born." The video is truly a family affair.

In addition to the three Hanson brothers, the music video features eleven of the guys' twelve children. They're such proud dads! According to Perez Hilton, Taylor Hanson says the decision to include the kids had to do with the optimistic message of the song. He wrote:

The video is about celebrating the dreams that we all have and the pure optimism of the human spirit. And what better way to show that optimistic view of the world than through the eyes of children? For 25 years, we have been able to live out what we feel we were 'born to do,' and this song brings that message full circle.

Hanson sure has grown up a lot since their MmmBop days. Check out the new music video below.

People are sharing stories of the most cringeworthy ways they've ever been hit on.

It takes a lot of guts to go up to someone you think is cute and make a move. Some of us are blessed with a natural ability to be charming AF, but for the rest of us, flirting involves a lot of blank stares, sweating, and the inability to control the volume of our voice. A recent AskReddit thread asked users to share stories of the most awkward ways someone has tried to hit on them. Hopefully they'll make you feel better about your flirting skills.

Wow, jschong2, telling you that you're not pretty didn't work? So strange!

"You can tell my feelings for you are genuine because you're not that pretty, so you know I'm not being superficial."

You know what they say, MoonLover10792. It ain't love if they don't make up a death in the family to get you to go out with them.

When I was in High School this guy told me that the reason he was so in love with me was because I reminded him of his dead mother.

She wasn't dead.

knutmeg never asked to be serenaded at their place of work. And yet, here we are.

This guy I used to work with in high school at a small bookstore once sang Bohemian Rhapsody to me, word for word, while on his knees after telling me he'd been practicing for me...why? i have absolutely no idea.

merelyanotherstudent's story is certainly awkward, but it's actually kind of adorable too. We hope that dude figured out how to hit on whoever it was he actually wanted to hit on.

Some random guy in the bathroom of a library came up to me while I was washing my hands and said:"Hey man, how do I hit on girls? Actually, to be more specific, how do I hit on you? Not that you're a girl. I hope you're gay too. This is weird, we're in a bathroom. I've gotta go".

The guy in the stall and I had a good chuckle over that one.

streamstroller probably made the right call in not accepting this person's offer to take her on a picnic in a graveyard, but we can't help but wonder what would've happened if she did.

I was working as a cocktail waitress. A customer said, "do you want to have lunch with me in a cemetery somewhere?" Um...nope.

ThatOneCorgiGuy knows what they're worth. And it's more than $35.

Asked if i would sleep with him. When i said no, the proposal was spiced up with an offer of $35. I wasn't as much offended by the offer as i was offended by it only being $35

Apparently euphemisms aren't the way to Back2Bach's heart, but you have to admit this one's pretty good.

After an organ concert I played, a newer gay tenor in my choir took me aside and asked if I'd like to come back to his place "for a different type of organ recital."

Turns out it's going to take more than "I don't have syphilis" to win kindchains' heart.

This happened just recently. I'm at work on my lunch break. I usually take my lunch during the slower times, so I get the break room to myself and can watch tv by projecting my tablet screen to the tv. Coworker comes in as I'm watching The Office (US) on Netflix. It gets to the part where a guy in a Ben Franklin costume says he doesn't have syphilis. Coworker turns around and says "haha, neither do I..."

I just pretend I didn't hear him. He then kinda whispers "so I'm good to go, kindchains...haha". He then procedes to take way too long just to stir his coffee, all the while sighing and muttering loudly, then finally leaves without another word.

Oh, God, he dropped his phone in the cherries. We're sorry you had to clean up this mess, demicratic.

I worked at a frozen yogurt shop and some kid came up to the counter with the toppings as I was trying to clean it up and thrust his phone out at me. I just stared at it for a second and then asked him what he was doing. We just stared at each other for a good 15 seconds before he said "put your number in my phone". I was like, "no" and then he dropped his phone in the cherries so I had to clean that up too.

Amadal might win the award for weirdest pick-up line.

He told me he was a satanist and wanted to marry a woman dressed in black latex so every one would know she was a whore.

When another commenter jokingly asked Amadal how long the two of them had been together, she provided this update:

I actually saw him for a couple weeks after because I was a bit intrigued. Alas, I wasn't the whore for him.

Sure, these stories are pretty cringeworthy, but hey. Love is hard and sometimes we say dumb things to people we're attracted to. At the end of the day, we're all just weirdos looking for love. Right?

(Except for that guy who told jschong2 she wasn't pretty. He's the worst.)

Best of luck on your skin's transition from shockingly white to shockingly red.

In a cover letter or interview, it helps not only to know your strengths, but to find some way to emphasize them. On Tinder—which, let's face it, makes everyone seem like they're applying for a job as someone's friend with benefits—you're stuck giving a mainly visual presentation. How can you highlight all the qualities that make you truly great?

Answer: with some truly great PowerPoint slides. Here, let 20-year-old Regan show you how the professionals do it.

She must have a huge Excel spreadsheet of all her matches by now.

Trump is so lazy that instead of strolling with world leaders, he followed behind in a golf cart.

Donald Trump infamously accused Hillary Clinton of lacking the "stamina" to be president, but now, on his first foreign trip in the role, Trump is the one who's apparently "exhausted." And at no point has that been more obvious than when when he got together with G7 heads of state from the U.K., Italy, France, Germany, Japan, and Canada in Taormina, Sicily.

According to the Times, all the leaders walked "700 yards" from a group photo op to another spot in town—except for Trump, who apparently needed a ride in an electric golf cart to cover that ground.

Lazy president, or laziest president?

Imagine how disappointed he was to find out there was no actual golf course.
