Mom dresses up son with walker as Carl from 'Up' for Halloween.

Ashley Davis is dressing her son Angler up for Halloween as Carl from the Disney Pixar movie Up. Angler has a developmental delay and difficulty walking. But it appears this 2-year-old is loving the costume and ready to go clean out the neighborhood trick-or-treating. The Davis family should bring a wheelbarrow for the haul of candy that Angler will bring in. His mom wants him to have that experience just like anyone:

I think it just makes him happy to be like the other kids. Our big thing is to not let him feel like he is different. We treat him like a typical two-year-old.

This guy.

It's nice to see parents get creative and make clever costumes that work well for their kids. Because sometimes parents really, really get it wrong. Happy Halloween to Angler, who won't be able to fly away with balloons when's he's weighed down by the candy stash.

President Obama can't stop laughing at this kid's baby Pope costume.

A kid in a baby Pope costume floored President Obama on Friday at The White House Halloween celebration. President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama welcomed area students and the children of military families to the White House for trick-or-treating. Hundreds of kids showed up in costumes of all types and sizes.

Getting that Executive Branch candy.

But when Obama saw baby Pope, he couldn't stop laughing, and then almost immediately declared that this costume won top prize.

Baby Pope costumes are a true hit this Halloween. A baby Pope even caused Pope Francis himself to laugh uncontrollably. Opportunities to meet the Pope or the President have passed, but there's still time for parents to make their toddlers into baby Popes to ensure a glorious candy stash for the adults.

Ohio State quarterback calls the audible and gets arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated early Saturday morning near campus. He has been suspended for a whopping one game by the team. One game. That'll teach him! Also, the charge in Ohio is called an OVI, which sounds like a new type of software or STD, but is the (almost) acronym for operating a vehicle under the influence. And OVI is shorter and simpler than OAVUTI.

This was not in the playbook.

Barrett, who at 20 is underage , was arrested after he tried to dodge an OVI checkpoint near the campus. He failed a Breathalyzer test and was released to his fellow Buckeye teammate and quarterback Cardale Jones. Here's the best part: Barrett recently took the starting quarterback position from Jones. How's that for an awkward phone call from jail? Thankfully no one was hurt or killed as a result of this incident, and apparently checkpoints work pretty well. This OVI for Barrett is almost as embarrassing as getting one while dressed as Hello Kitty or while wearing a dumb and incriminating t-shirt.

Here's Kourtney and Kim Kardashian as kids on Halloween with no contouring makeup.

Kourtney Kardashian posted a throwback picture of her and Kim as kids on Halloween. Kourtney is dressed as a ballerina, and Kim is rocking a Wonder Woman costume. Funny to see these two media starlets before everything changed. Kim now has a sassy ballerina of her own, Kourtney has three kids, and both keep busy breaking the internet with butt pics.

https://instagram.com/p/9ggPMtE1iM/?taken-by=kourtneykardash

When's the last time you saw Kim intentionally look away from a camera? And, in a lapse of judgement even more outrageous than anything the Kardashians have done as adults, here's a picture of Kourtney in a clown costume:

https://instagram.com/p/9gh4yZE1l8/?taken-by=kourtneykardash

Clown costumes are never acceptable! It's not as scary or regrettable as these poor kids' costumes, but still pretty bad. At least Kourtney got some practice holding still while someone applies a ridiculous amount of makeup to her face.

Watch American kids try candy from around the world with several spit-takes.

Here are some American kids trying candy from around the world, with all the delightfully picky and grossed-out responses you'd expect. But there are also some surprising results. You just never know when a kid will like a food experiment. Sometimes they freak out when trying dinners from around the world, and sometimes school lunches from different corners of the globe give them a fright. In honor of children gorging themselves on Halloween candy, here they are trying various international sweets:

Flavor combinations like sour and spicy or sweet and spicy are always good for a few exaggerated reactions. And names like salty black licorice and scorched rice would scare lots of Americans. Nice work by these kids for being brave in front of a camera. Hopefully their trick-or-treating brings them some candy they actually enjoy.

Miley Cyrus is posting fantastic pics of fans dressed as her for Halloween.

Miley Cyrus is having some fun on Instagram, posting pictures of fans wearing costumes that match her outfits for Halloween. Miley is best known for wearing very little and sometimes nothing at all. But there are plenty of whacky Miley outfits to choose from, and people are doing a really great job matching her poses and styles. In Miley's words, people can be fun as f##k.

Hey, eyes up here. Literally.

Even the gentlemen are getting in on the fun.

Just pick a brightly colored picture of Miley, and then go match the outfit.

Some people are drawing on the matching accessories, but Miley still loves it.

This fan did not leave out one detail and left little to the imagination.

Give that denim jacket all the pieces of flair.

Celebrities on Instagram makes Halloween a lot more interesting. Just ask the Kardashians. We'll see if any of Miley's fans get really creative and try to match the pictures when she poses with bongs.

Sweet finish.

Perseverance.

The best part of a working 'Aladdin' flying carpet is watching jaded New Yorkers freak out.

As day breaks on All Saint's Day, the day after Halloween and the day people traditionally tried to cure their hangovers by praying to All the Saints at once, everyone will think back to the one kick-ass-est costume they saw this year. For a few hundred or more New Yorkers, that was probably this working and surprisingly fast and stable Aladdin flying carpet outfit/device. There were a few people this year who made less ambitious attempts, like taping a throw rug to one of those wheeled "hoverboards" and letting it drag, but this is all-out: it looks like it's on a motorized longboard, it clearly has stabilization functions, and it goes really fast. New Yorkers prize themselves mostly on being too cool for everything and for moving quickly on sidewalks, so when you see them forget what they're doing on the sidewalk and stop and scream, you know you've won Halloween:

YouTuber puts out Halloween candy for kids on the honor system, catches parents ruining it.

Kids are not stupid. They know that finding the kind of person who leaves out candy for you to take without monitoring what you take is a rare deal. Most kids will try not to mess up a sweet gig like that, unless of course they've been taught by their parents that it's OK to ruin a perfect world for everyone if some sugar is at stake. That's what YouTuber InternetLasers learned when a trip out of town on Halloween meant they wouldn't be able to hand out candy. Not wanting to disappoint the local children, InternetLasers put out full-sized candy bars on a table outside their home with the note "Help yourself, but be considerate!" A hidden camera captured who actually followed this instruction:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1TNQr-WzU4

First of all, there is a bright side to this video: the kids are alright. Literally dozens of kids pass the test before the violator shows up. Even the Edward Scissorhands kid who jokes about making off with an armful of candy bars puts them back. Then the worst fairy princess ever shows up, and it even looks like she argues with that same Scissorhands kid before teacher her own son an important lesson: when you're faced with something as pure and innocent as a table of free candy, you better ruin it before someone else does.

Young man goes from bored with the election to having his mind blown in one hilarious second.

Ah, the American political process. A fascinating, inspiring and often horrifying dance of posturing and calculations, it's an acquired taste like moldy cheese. Yet those who follow it can often remember when and where it was that the bug first bit them. For this young man, it was at a Bernie Sanders town hall meeting at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia on Wednesday, where one second he was looking away and perhaps picking his nose, and the next he was riveted and forced to re-evaluate how relevant the faraway workings of Washington were to his day-to-day life.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sezhr7jbrlk

"Oh, shit," indeed, sir. The political ramifications of stopping a pipeline to jail that removes many otherwise hard-working citizens from gainful employment, and the ripple effect that could have alongside the benefits of reallocating police resources is indeed awe-inducing. Plus, weed.

The best celebrity Halloween costumes glimpsed by mortal humans in 2015.

Celebrities, they're just like you in that everyone really wants to hear about their Halloween costume this weekend. It's November now, and your coworkers are all dying to know what outfit you and/or Heidi Klum got drunk in since Friday. Well, the Internet doesn't have pictures of what you wore while raiding your kids' candy haul (just kidding, you probably posted a bunch), but here's what some famous people have been up to:

Missed the GOP debate this week? Stephen Colbert tells you the very little you need to know.

The third #GOPDebate was a #GOPDebacle or a #CNBCrapshoot, depending on who you ask. Either way, everyone who participated it left almost as unhappy as everyone who watched it. If you were fortunate enough to miss it, or gave up on understanding it halfway through, fortunately Stephen Colbert can give you what you need to get through dinner conversation for a few more weeks with the masochists who follow political campaigns still more than a year out.

There you go; you're now an informed voter. If anyone asks you what's going on with the election, you can tell them: it's still going on.

Lost time.

This video of a kid saying Donald Trump quotes proves that Trump really is a 10-year-old boy.

More than any other kid, Donald Trump says the darndest things.

Affixed with orange makeup (not to be confused with John Boehner kid), this young boy delivers direct quotes from Donald Trump and suddenly every immature, egotistical Trumpism makes sense. The video covers everything from Trump's wealth to BFF relationship with Latinos, as well as his totally not-demeaning views on women. Start getting excited to see this kid run for president when he's constitutionally eligible in 25 years.

John Oliver talks the Medicaid Gap and why you should actually care about tomorrow's elections.

0

While the word "election" is being thrown around constantly, it's mostly used to refer to the whole president thing. But, as John Oliver reminded us last night, there are elections that are not a full life cycle of a hamster away. Many states will go to the polls for gubernatorial and legislative elections tomorrow, and there are actual lives at stake. Four states will vote for governors whose platforms are either for or against Medicaid expansion, which is literally a matter of life or death. This is crucial, because as Oliver says, "Healthcare is like a pair of gym shorts: even if it covers 'nearly all' of what it's supposed to, you're still left with some problematic gaps and terrible things can happen."

Beach-loving bro shows up to Halloween party, is spectacularly pranked by all of his friends.

A group of friends all dressed up as their bro's obnoxiously broey brofile pic to cleverly make fun of his public displays of brofection, and it should be bro-minated for group costume of the year.

JR Hennessy is a serious writer in Sydney, Australia who doubles as a carefree surf bro.

Just begging to be memed.

This bro's bros made a BuzzFeed Community post in early October to highlight the meme-able nature of his picture.

And when Halloween came around, they realized it was optimal time to dress up as him for the ultimate brostume.

“I wasn’t expecting it, actually I was one of the first people there so I was sort of just hit repeatedly as people arrived,” Hennessy told BuzzFeed News.

But then the costumes kept brolling in.

The post when viral on Tumblr.

He changed his profile pic, perhaps to be more incogni-bro, but his new one is just as broey and will make a great costume next year.

Finger gun is the new cowabunga.

Kylie Jenner wore a racially offensive Halloween costume because that's what celebrities do.

0

Kylie Jenner wore a Halloween costume that's pissing people off, because it's the time of year when celebrities wear misguided outfits (or...one of many times in the year when they do that). Over the weekend, Jenner shared an Instagram video and photo of herself in a costume consisting of a furry white bralet, miniskirt, hood, and boots. She labeled the video "Eskimo," then in the photo, which was posted later, identified her outfit as the more general "Snow Princess."

https://instagram.com/p/9faXHRnGro/https://instagram.com/p/9gkqKJHGi1/

In addition to the fact that "Eskimo" is considered an offensive term, you'd think we'd have learned from the 10,000celebrities who have worn "Sexy Indian" costumes over the years that sexily imitating a group of people is not a good look. It's like the top rule in the handbook they give you when you become a celebrity. (If there's no handbook, maybe there should be?)

Not even a hundred Spanx snapchats could make up for this, although they would be appreciated.

The 'Hocus Pocus' kids reunited for Halloween and put a spell on the Internet with their hotness.

The teen queen of Hocus Pocus, Vinessa Shaw, has been posting about her most famous role on Instagram a lot in the past month, as nostalgia and rumors about sequels have circulated. Hocus Pocus was a very fun Halloween movie from the nineties and the nineties are back with a vengeance, so it's kind of become a perfect storm of Hocus Pocus passion. We were all wondering what happened to Allison, Max and Dani since we last saw them as adorable youths saving their town from the villainous Bette Midler:

The cat who played Thackery Binx is definitely dead. But the actors are still here, and apparently good enough buds to meet up on Halloween for a pic. Here's Vinessa Shaw, Omri Katz and Thora Birch 22 years later:

https://instagram.com/p/9ibTl5lxbD/

Very cute, though Omri looks a lot more like someone's dad now instead of the Tiger Beat centerfold he's been frozen as in every teeny bopper's brain. Even nineties kids have to grow up sometime!
