Tyra Banks shared her first photo of her new son on Valentine's Day, because love.

0
0

While it might seem like Tyra Banks doesn't have time to raise a child between her busy schedule of television shows and giving everyone fierce looks, she actually welcomed a son last month. York Banks Asla is the son of Tyra and her boyfriend, Erik Asla. He was born via surrogate, so don't feel bad if you were all like, "OMG! I didn't even know she was pregnant!"

On Valentine's Day, the day for love/complaining about love, Banks shared her first photo of York on Instagram:

https://www.instagram.com/p/BByBDBPqQIS/?taken-by=tyrabanks

Technically, it's less of a photo of York and more of a great photo of Tyra where she happens to be holding a baby. But considering how stingy some famous people can be with their baby photos, you'll take what you can get, and you'll like it.

Macklemore’s new song 'Spoons,' about handjobs and open-door pooping will make you quit relationships.

Stop the presses: the greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time (which everyone agrees is Macklemore) just dropped a Valentine's Day banger you don't even have to get Tidal to hear! That's a shame, because the inconvenience of Tidal might've been a protective barrier between your ears and this touching rap about long-term relationship handjobs and poops (aka "boos").

No, don't reach for your earphones. Let this blast out yo' speakers. The world must hear you hear about the man who needs a handjob to wash away his fury that bae got ahead of him in Game of Thrones.

Hey, don't throw up yet. You haven't even listened! Put the vomit back inside your mouth.

https://soundcloud.com/macklemore/spoons-feat-ryan-bedard

Now go ahead and let it out again.

If you can stomach the line, "she get too comfortable, bathroom door open when she boo boo-ing," you deserve everything this world has to offer.

Axis of Awesome comedian Jordan Raskopoulos comes out as trans in great video.

Jordan Raskopoulos, a third of the Australian comedy music group The Axis of Awesome, released a video on Sunday where she came out as a transgender woman. In her video, Raskopoulos first addresses fans' questions about the disappearance of her beard, and tells her story in a warm, funny way. "I'm a woman, Harry," Raskopoulos jokes, as she explains that she had experienced the gender dysphoria since childhood, and that she officially began transitioning last March.

Congratulations to Raskopoulos for coming out, and also the new album and tour and website.

Lori Loughlin celebrated Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky's 25th anniversary on Instagram.

Fuller House is dropping on Netflix on February 26th. But today, there's another Full House thing to celebrate: The wedding of Jesse Katsopolis and Rebecca Donaldson aired 25 years ago today—February 15th, 1991. Many people could tell you exactly where they were when it happened: in front of the TV.

25 years down, "forever" to go.

Lori Loughlin congratulated the fictional characters on her Instagram, with what looks like it might be teaser image from the new show:

https://www.instagram.com/p/BB0EE9uOgJL/

Both Loughlin and John Stamos have been the best at serving fans by keeping up the illusion that the characters are real. The two have stayed friends, and they share a lot of pictures of themselves together to keep the dream of the One True Pair alive.

Together they Dubsmash:

She plugs his shows:

They send each other the sweetest birthday messages:

She makes Drake jokes:

And he quotes Katy Perry:

They consistently post #TBTs to remind us of when their characters fell in love and we fell in love with them falling in love:

Loughlin and Stamos drink coffee in character, further complicating our senses of reality:

Many a millennial couldn't help but tear up when they put their rings on it:

To quote Jesse and the Rippers quoting The Beach Boys, "Let the love I have for you live in your heart and beat forever." Congratulations on 25 years of a great, fake marriage.

People share the reasons why they got their scars. Don't try to skateboard in your 50s.

Little kids shouldn't have bikes, grown men shouldn't iron shirts, and even littler kids shouldn't live in the same house as a shiny razor. Those are the most grisly lessons learned from the sometimes funny, sometimes horrifying AskReddit question, "What's the stupid reason you have that scar?" Of course, there's also the one about the fetus who ate his own poop, so there's a little something for everyone.

In case it goes without saying, don't read these stories if you don't like reading about injuries. Because there are a lot of blood, cuts, and...well, things that lead to scars.

1. The one about the fetus who ate his own poop.

2.  Helmet, bro.

3. Midlife crisis solved forever!

4. Fell/sat = never a good combination.

5. Tl;dr: Bad dog.

6. Why does no one here wear bike helmets?

7. Nope.

8. Wrinkles aren't that bad.

9. And the winning comment is... "Clever girl."

10. The perils of ignoring your mother.

11. Doors are psychotic.

12. Sounds like a cute kid.

13. "Want to know how I got these scars?"

11 really weird Grammy Awards moments from the past 35 years.

Whether you're a music fan or just like watching millionaires present each other with statues, you'll want to tune in to tonight's 58th Annual Grammy Awards. Every year there's a moment or two that has everyone talking. What will happen this year to join these infamous Grammy moments?

1. Michael Jackson bringing Brooke Shields and Emmanuel Lewis (Webster) to the Grammy Awards in '84.

This wasn't even weird for Michael Jackson.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgNqJn9bc1shttps://twitter.com/emysena/status/427824983390167040

2. Taylor Swift butchers her duet with Stevie Nicks, 2010.

In 2010, legendary singer Stevie Nicks joined T-Swift on stage to sing "Rhiannon." Taylor's tone-deaf performance didn't affect her career in the least. She's nominated for seven Grammy awards tonight.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4s4-wEMWAY

3. Bob Dylan getting "Soy Bombed" in '98.

Many people remember seeing the shirtless guy gyrate during Bob Dylan's performance with "Soy Bomb" written on his chest. At the time, however, no one was sure if it was part of the show. Not even Dylan.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0k7rKsCiLg

4. Lady Gaga showing up to the Grammys in an egg.

Because you really don't get enough attention walking down the red carpet surrounded by photographers, you really should be carried like some sort of regal Ostrich-Pharoah.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgGQZuKxYB0

5. Nicki Minaj having an exorcism on stage in 2012.

She even brought a Pope impersonator as her date.

https://vimeo.com/36735616https://twitter.com/jegixurapyp/status/561342288748900352

6. Ol' Dirty Bastard pulling a Kanye before there was a Kanye.

Kanye's not the trailblazer everyone thinks he is. Ol' Dirty Bastard Kanye'd Shawn Colvin back in 1998. When she won her award for Song of the Year, ODB grabbed the mic first saying, "Wu Tang is for the children."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS181X4F3bw

7. Eminem and Elton John's duet, 2001.

In 2001, Eminem was taking a lot of heat for his homophobic comments (in the 2010's, he's progressed to transphobic ones). So it came as a big surprise when the rapper preformed "Stan" with Elton John at the 2001 Awards Show.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiHgjmqRP_8https://twitter.com/eminempicsx/status/638841957729574912

8. J Lo's green dress, 2000.

It's not that shocking by today's standards, but Jennifer Lopez's barely-there dress made jaws drop on the Grammy red carpet in 2000. It spawned many a Halloween costume throughout the early 2000's, and inspired South Park's Trey Parker to wear the same dress to the Oscars while on acid (and Matt Stone wore a dress made famous by Gwenyth Paltrow).

9. Jethro Tull beats Metallica for Best Metal Performance. 1989.

Remember when The Martian won Best Comedy at the Golden Globes this year, and everyone was like WTF? Back in the 80's a similar thing happened when Jethro Tull won Best Metal Performance. Metal?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=OaodlYmleeQ

Yep, that Jethro Tull.

https://twitter.com/teleskiguy/status/657349875131023360

10. "We Will Always Love You" - The Whitney Houston tribute, 2012.

It shocked everyone when Whitney Houston passed away the night before the Grammys in 2012. To the organizer's credit, they put together a touching tribute just in time for the show.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtzqaOK_Ntk

11. Milli Vanilli win, get busted, and have to give back their Grammy, 1990.

In 1990, the pop "group" Milli Vanilli had a very big year, performing on the Grammys stage and winning Best New Artist.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HAf2sBKpXUhttps://twitter.com/tohumuna/status/667319109219020807

Of course, the West Germany-based group (this was before German reunification) were famously forced to give up their award for being busted as lip-syncing frauds. Ironically, their biggest single was titled "Girl, You Know It's True." The pair (who didn't speak English well until they'd been famous for a few years, despite "singing" it fluently) also claimed to be more musically talented than Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, or Paul McCartney.

This video of a monster cyst getting drained might make even cyst-popping fans whimper.

Dr. Sandra Lee, aka Dr. Pimple Popper, is a dermatologist in California who sometimes records the drainage of her patients' cysts and pimples. The patient in this video, who had a large cyst on her chest, was a great sport about the procedure, despite the fact that she was having a horrifyingly large cyst drained.

So, do you have what it takes to watch this other-worldly inflamed cyst get drained? The video below begins after the beast initially gets the blade (there is a little more scalpel work later), but you can of course watch the video in its entirety if that's your thing.

If it's not already obvious, this is not for the faint of heart.

If you're still conscious and haven't had enough, you can double-down and watch a mom pop her daughter's massive six-year-old pimple.

The first teaser for 'Game of Thrones' Season 6 threatens the life of everyone's favorite character.

0
0

If you're a dedicated Game of Thrones fan, your excitement about Season 6 is probably tempered by your fear of what beloved characters will die next—and the first official teaser from HBO won't ease that fear one bit. (Editor's note: meet me below the video to talk about exactly what it might mean.)

The show already released official production stills for Season 6 that reassured fans that at least some of the characters will be alive, but this teaser for the new season is much less soothing. It could just be metaphor! It could just be a dream! Nevertheless, if you're worried your favorite character won't survive year (or will stay dead when they really shouldn't)...well, all men must die.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmrA8nOZF2Q

(Editor's note: OK, so you've seen the video. Let's dish. Spoiler warnings yada yada yada.) If you've somehow been struck with the kind of amnesia that lets you remember you love Game of Thrones but remember nothing that happens, that big scary room of faces is called, appropriately, the Hall of Faces. It is in the House of Black and White, home to the assassin's guild known as the Faceless Men. The faces on the wall are of dead people, faces that the Faceless Men can don to disguise themselves (after erasing their own personas first—something Arya has had trouble with, which is why Maisie Williams has had to wear painful contact lenses this year).

Related: 'Game of Thrones' is coming back and so is JON SNOW.

The first faces that appear are all characters we know to be dead.* Ned, Cat, and Robb Stark remain as nobly dead as ever, followed by Jon Snow, whom we last saw getting Julius Caesar-ed by that little Brutus named Ollie and his fellow Watchmen. (THEORY SPOILERS) At the present moment, Jon may be both dead and alive, due to the fiery sacrifice of poor little Princess Shireen Baratheon and also the theories about his prophetic birth

Related: The 'Game of Thrones' blooper reel will almost make you forget all these people are doomed.

But then there's Tyrion. Don't you dare do this to us, George R. R. Martin, David Benioff, and D.B. Weiss. Don't you dare kill Tyrion. Someone needs to crack wise and explain the show's plot with his crafty brain. Kill millions of Meereenese with Greyscale if you want, wipe out the Wildlings, and flush King's Landing into the sea. Leave the viewers their funny little dwarf.

Related: Peter Dinklage tongue-kissed his wife to get rid of his gum before accepting his Emmy.

* (BOOK SPOILERS: In the show, Catelyn is dead-dead and there is no Lady Stoneheart.)

Enjoy a vision of the terrifying office of the future with these 'intelligent parking' chairs.

Nissan created a dystopian vision fun demonstration of its self-parking car technology by making 'intelligent parking chairs' that return to their desks with a single clap of the hands (because the magic of The Clapper lives on in everyone's hearts). But even with the jazzy music on top, this video feels like it's a step away from a Black Mirror episode where the machines that provide orderly convenience crush their users at their desks.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1D07dTILH0

The chairs work through a combination of Wi-Fi and motion-sensing cameras on the walls. Hello, terrifying future:

The chairs are having a meeting of their own.

At least the idea of a self-driving, 3,000+ pound motor vehicle that can go over 80 miles per hour isn't scary. Nope, not scary at all.

Rebel Wilson stole the BAFTAs with a speech celebrating “diverse members.” (Wink.)

The woman who most fits the name "Rebel Wilson," Rebel Wilson, presented at the BAFTA awards on Sunday night. (They're sort of like the British Oscars, for those of you who don't love British film or acronyms enough to know.) And while many people walked away from the ceremony as winners (or as losers who quit Twitter), Wilson stole the show with her hilarious, stilted speech. And hey, she needed to pull off good awards-show joke after her weird police strippers brutality bit at the 2015 VMAs.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNg5wXxtGJw

Hopefully, Wilson will be back at the BAFTAs one day to receive an award, and hopefully, she'll give a speech in the exact same style.

Add "toilet paper possums" to the list of bathroom disasters you have to worry about.

0
0

Just when you think you've experienced or heard of all the wrong things that could happen in the bathroom: toilet paper possums. That's right, the possum, which has already been known to turn such ordinary locations as closets and sinks into nightmares, has now claimed the bathroom—mankind's last truly private preserve—as part of its domain of horror. This is what employees at the Yarra Bend Park found in the public restroom when they went to service the bathroom:

https://www.facebook.com/ParksVictoria/photos/a.148227085237259.30269.121390137920954/999429446783681/?type=3&theater

This post, which also includes the home they transferred him to, contains the simple backstory behind his discovery:

https://www.facebook.com/ParksVictoria/posts/999431136783512

While we may think of possums as an American creature, this was in Australia, which makes sense since they're marsupials. (Possums are one of the few marsupial species to survive competition with placental mammals outside of Australia). In other words: nowhere is safe to poop.

Here's the live 'Hamilton' performance and acceptance speech from the 2016 Grammys with Lin Manuel-Miranda.

Shortly after this performance aired, Hamilton won the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album, and it's not hard to see why this amazing production from Lin Manuel-Miranda took home the prize. Exuding vitality, criticism, optimism, and American exceptionalism in ways rarely seen or depicted before, this hip-hop retelling of one of the most fascinating chapters in American history is very hard to get tickets to, but you can see the opening song right here:

You can also always get the soundtrack, of course, which is the next best thing until the show tours America. Here's Lin Manuel-Miranda and the cast giving their acceptance speech:

The 2016 Grammy Awards were "lit," as the kids say! Kendrick Lamar and the cast of Hamilton wowed, Adele persevered through audio troubles, and Stevie Wonder showed off his vocal, braille, and humor skills. Lemmy, David Bowie, BB King and Glenn Frey were celebrated in musical tributes (notably absent: Natalie Cole). Drunk in love.

Shorten it.

Taylor Swift seemed to take a dig at Kanye in her feminist Grammy Album of the Year acceptance speech.

0
0

Monday night, Taylor Swift became the first woman to win the Grammy for Album of the Year twice. Swift celebrated this milestone by dedicating her acceptance speech to the empowerment of young women. She said that while people will try to take credit for your accomplishments and your fame, you have to know that "it was you and the people who love you who put you there." Some are wondering if Swift's words were a reference to Kanye's controversial rap lyric: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/I made that bitch famous."

Selena Gomez was quite moved.

Luckily Kanye didn't storm the stage with a rebuttal, so the beautiful Girl Power moment wasn't ruined.

Everyone loved Lady Gaga's tribute to Bowie at the Grammys, except Duncan Jones.

0
0

Lady Gaga's David Bowie tribute was among the most anticipated performances of the 2016 Grammys and it didn't disappoint, at least in the showiness department. Gaga started with "Space Oddity," segued into "Changes," and went on to cover bits of "Fashion," "Heroes," "Fame," "Let's Dance," "Intel," (whoops, sorry, that was actually just an advertisement, not a Bowie song) and others in a medley perfect for attention-deficient viewers everywhere.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fGBZhsa4VU

And Gaga's performance was a hit, mostly—there was one noticeable holdout on the Gaga love train. After the performance, Bowie's son Duncan Jones tweeted:

https://twitter.com/ManMadeMoon/status/699437406873743360

The word Duncan is looking for is, of course, "gaga"—his tweet is the definition of the word "gaga" from the Oxford dictionary. Yep, that's some cryptic shade right there.

Stevie Wonder announced the Grammy Award for Song of the Year while teasing everyone for not knowing braille.

0

Following a tribute performance for Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder and the a cappella group Pentatonix announced the 2016 Grammy for Song of the Year. Well, Stevie Wonder announced the award solo because he was the only one who could.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hta9F0OrQ7U

After Wonder flashed the card with the award winner and taunted the crowd about not being able to read braille, the cameras cut to the nominees. They do not look that amused.

Wiz Khalifa refuses to feign amusement.

Wonder then got real and spoke about accessibility before announcing Ed Sheeran's win for "Thinking Out Loud." Though judging from her response, it was really Taylor Swift's win.

When Sheeran walked away to accept his award, Swift just kept on hugging people. That's nice.

Here are the big winners from the 2016 Grammy Awards or just assume Taylor Swift won everything.

Monday night was The Grammy Awards, music's biggest night (besides any night you've been forced to see your friend DJ in a local basement). There were few surprises—other than Taylor Swift's new haircut—with Swift, Kendrick Lamar, and the "Uptown Funk" bros winning big.
