Butt hair: you may not talk about it, you may not think about it, but you may well have it—and if you don't, that may not be as awesome as you think. One fan of the popular YouTube channel SciShow really, really wanted to know why he had butt hair, and so he asked them to do a video about it. He asked them over and over and over and over on every single video until they finally caved. The result is way more fascinating than you'd think, and also one of the few times in life you can learn everything that science currently knows about a subject in the time it takes to watch a YouTube video. If you perform the experiment proposed at the end, you could even become the world's leading butt hair scientist.

On Sunday, singer Kesha posted a picture on Instagram with a caption saying that she was offered a chance to get out of her record contract in exchange for a "lie." She'd have to redact her accusation that she was sexually assaulted by producer Dr. Luke, and make a public apology.

The full caption reads:

so. I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie. I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors. I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again.

However, this statement hasn't been confirmed by Sony, nor have they issued a statement about her allegation.

In February, Kesha lost her court case against Dr. Luke when Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich ruled that she'd have to uphold the terms of her contract, a decision Kesha is appealing. A great many other artists have shown their support for Kesha, with Taylor Swift even giving her $250,000 to help cover her costs (what with legal fees and the fact that she legally can't work unless she's working with Sony).

If Kesha's statement is true, that doesn't seem like an especially smart PR move on the part of Sony, especially since the case has gotten so much public attention.

On Sunday evening, a bunch of British people attended the Olivier Awards for theater, including the ghosts of Ygritte and Jon Snow. The two have managed to find each other in the afterlife and rekindle their romance, albeit as Kit Harington and Rose Leslie.

Back in 2012, when their Game of Thrones characters were still alive, actors Rose Leslie and Kit Harington were a thing, according to TMZ. Then they broke their fans' hearts by ending their relationship (but maybe mostly by dying on screen).

On Saturday, construction worker and Mexican-Canadian Diego Reyna posted a photo of himself on Facebook sitting beside a Mexican flag on top of Vancouver's Trump Tower. According to the post, Reyna placed the flag on the tower (still under construction) because he was fed up with The Donald's relentless insults about Mexicans since his candidacy began.

"I put a Mexican flag on the roof of the Trump Tower in Vancouver, just to show that he is benefiting from us and that we are working hard on his projects and that we are not all criminals," wrote Reyna.

Unsurprisingly, the flag was taken down this past Sunday morning. But still standing is Reyna's post, in which he pleads with people to "PLEASE HELP ME SHARE THIS MESSAGE SO IT CAN GET TO MR TRUMP'S NEWS FEED, THANKS!!!" Perhaps he wants to see Trump's face turn from bright orange to fiery red.

There's no word on whether the photo caught Trump's attention, but the construction worker's gloriously defiant photo garnered over 2,000 shares. Some folks are showing appreciation for the pic on Twitter as well:

These deceptive salad-cakes are thanks to Mitsuki Moriyasu, a Japanese food style designer (bet you didn't know that was a thing, but then again who knew that cakes made out of salad were a thing). They made their debut in June 2015, and according to the Vegedeco website, "They are especially popular among women who particularly care about their health and beauty and to men who want to build up their body."

The cake's frosting is made out of tofu blended with different vegetables, and the sponge is made using all natural ingredients and sadly, very little sugar.

11-years-ago, a 13-year-old teenage boy by the name of Clyff rocked some long hair in a school photo. Clyff's friend posted the photo alongside a recent picture of Natalie Portman on Reddit and the Internet rejoiced over the spitting image. Honestly, Portman could claim Clyff's school picture as her own and no one would be the wiser.

Apparently, back in 2005, Natalie Portman was not famous enough for someone to tell Clyff that he had to either cut his hair and reclaim his own identity, or start making appearances as a young Portman impersonator.

If there wasn't solid proof that the following is a video of a pre-teen Portman in 1993, it could easily be Clyff in 2005.

With his very particular facial features, Clyff has become a viral phenomenon and people had to know what he looked like now. TMZ managed to track down Clyff, 24, who despite a new haircut still bears a strong resemblance to Portman.

Benedict Cumberbatch was in New York on Sunday filming the Marvel movie Dr. Strange, so he stopped by JHU Comic Books in full costume. On Sunday, Justin Bieber appeared on stage at the 2016 iHeart Radio Awards. But some fans apparently couldn’t enjoy Biebs’ performance because they were distracted by the 22-year-old singer’s shock-blonde dreadlocks.

Folks took to social media and called out the dreadlocks-donning Biebs for "cultural appropriation," you know, as often happens when Biebs gets a new haircut. 

The singer unveiled his dreadlocks on Instagram prior to the awards show, but according to Wonderwall.com, “this was his first major public appearance (at the iHeart Radio Awards) wearing them.”

In the comments section of Biebs' dreaded Instagram selfie, one user wrote:

During Sunday night's iHeartRadio awards, Taylor Swift showed once again that there is definitely no love lost between her and Justin Bieber. Swift didn't go as far as actually not clapping after Biebs performed his songs"Love Yourself" and "Company" at the start of the show, but the clapping she managed was so unenthusiastic she might as well have just said "clap, clap." Her boyfriend Calvin Harris a.k.a. Adam did pretty much the same thing.

One of the highlights saw Katy Perry introducing Dolly Parton for the Tex Ritter Award for her 2015 filmCoat Of Many Colors. On Saturday, a bunch of unassuming hockey fans were thrown off a faulty escalator that unexpectedly sped up. The fans were leaving an NHL game between the Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center.

“Escalator got a little excited about the flyers win too...” Flyers fan Meghan McGreevy captioned the short video she posted to Facebook.

Fortunately, NBC 10 reported that there were no injuries following the incident. The escalator is currently shut down for repairs.
