On Wednesday, McDonald's momentarily forgot about the general awfulness of humanity and made the mistake of putting an interactive sandwich-building feature called Create Your Taste on their Australian site. They've since changed it, so there's a limit to the ingredients you can choose, and you can no longer name your Taste Creation, but before they did, the peanut gallery was lovin' it. The denizens of the internet created McDonald's sandwiches that were gross, offensive, and racist, and a few that were actually kind of funny.
1. It would be sadder without the cheese, though.

3. The opposite of the Carbonator is the Girth. Because it's a lot of meat, get it? Sigh.

On Monday, Kat Von D publicly stated on Facebook and Instagram that she and fellow makeup company owner Jeffree Star were no longer friends. Soon after, Star fired off a few tweets letting her know how he felt about all that. But now, this feud is kicking into high gear.
On July 19, Von D posted a video to YouTube explaining her reasoning for not just distancing but "dissociating completely" from Star. (Short version: she thinks he's a bully and a liar.) A day later, Star made his own video in response to her video. (Short version: he thinks she's a bully and a liar, too.) What we've got here is an honest to God makeup war.
Kat Von D's video, titled "Jeffree Star: It's so much easier to do the right thing," goes into detail about how she helped Star start his makeup line, after being the one to first suggest to him he make one, even getting him a meeting at the same factory that manufactures her own products. She also says that she once "romanticized" Star, but claims he's not the same person anymore, if he ever was.
Star's video, which tells his side of the story and which is almost 10 minutes longer than Von D's, is called "DEAR KAT VON D: IT'S EASIER TO TELL THE TRUTH." It's a real battle of about the true meaning of ease, really. He excoriates her for using her huge platform as a celebrity to express her negative feelings about him, claiming that people have gone so far as getting the names and phone numbers of his family members and calling them with death threats.
Boy howdy, for such pretty people, these two have gotten themselves into the story of a broken friendship that is just very ugly.

What a sweet and thoughtful thing to do. The world was a better place with Robin Williams in it, but his legacy will live on through his family (and his fans).
This year's Republican National Convention has been pretty bonkers so far, but at least one good thing has come out of it: a pop song. Thanks to the RNC shining a light on the Trump family, we are now aware that Donald Trump's 22 year-old daughter, Tiffany Trump released a supremely Auto-Tuned pop song entitled "Like a Bird" in 2011.
The song may have flown under the radar (pun very much intended) when it was released in 2011, but thankfully, the internet dug it up again this week after Tiffany spoke at the RNC in support of her evil wizard father.
Tiffany apparently recorded the song with two other artists named Sprite and Logic.
Admittedly, the layers and layers of auto-tune make it a little hard to understand what they're saying, but if you listen closely, you'll catch lyrical gems such as, "You're cute and you're tweeting me/Baby you go beep beep beep," and "We living it up/Shine like aluminum foil in the club." It's true artistry at work.

Bassen took on the herculean task of running her own small business with her unique clothing and accessory designs, and has amassed a decent-sized following after she working with such brands as Nike, Urban Outfitters, and Adidas. However, Bassen and fans of her work started to notice that conglomerate clothing retailer Zara has been not-so-subtly stealing her artwork.

After months of ripping off her designs, Bassen's lawyers sent a cease-and-desist to Zara, only to have the company respond with a rude and condescending letter. The following image from Bassen's Instagram shows the incriminating evidence of her stolen designs up top, with Zara's response at the bottom.
Bassen captioned the Instagram with a message of her own:
I've been pretty quiet about this, until now. Over the past year, @zara has been copying my artwork (thanks to all that have tipped me off--it's been a lot of you). I had my lawyer contact Zara and they literally said I have no base because I'm an indie artist and they're a major corporation and that not enough people even know about me for it to matter. I plan to further press charges, but even to have a lawyer get this LETTER has cost me $2k so far. It sucks and it's super disheartening to have to spend basically all of my money, just to defend what is legally mine. EDIT: Some of you are asking how you can help. Repost and tag them, on Twitter, on Insta, on Facebook. I don't want to have to burden any of you with the financial strain that comes with lawsuits.
It is pretty clear given Bassen's unique and distinguishable aesthetic that Zara is blatantly stealing from the designer. However, without Zara's cooperation, Bassen had no other choice but to turn to the viral capabilities of social media to shame the company for stealing her work. Now other designers like Adam J. Kurtz, Sara M. Lyons, and many others are coming forward saying that Zara has also copied their designs.
As the David and Goliath story rages on, you can support Tuesday Bassen and all the other artists being taken advantage of by shopping directly from their websites.
If you miss the glory days of high school backstabbing, gossiping, and reputation-ruining drama, you must be loving this Taylor/Kimye feud. Everyone's choosing sides and no one knows who's going to be named prom queen. (But let's face it, it's probably Kanye.)

Dunham also wrote a think-piece slamming Kanye's Famous video, which is the song Kimye and Taylor are fighting over the lyrics to. Also, the video shows Kim and Kanye in bed with a naked wax figure of Taylor.
Uzo Aduba ain't going anywhere. The Orange is the New Black star and Swift squad member has publicly taken Taylor's side. She said she believes Tay will get past this nasty beef. “She will,” Aduba toldVanity Fair. “She’s a beautiful person and strong.”
Gigi hasn't publicly spoken up for her so-called BFF, so it seems possible she'd stray. However, it'd be in this model's best interest to stay with Tay. She's going to need the squad's comfort when her and Zayn Malik break up, and get back together, and break up again.

She tweeted her support for Taylor, and for Chloë Grace Moretz when Khloé Kardashian came after her, although afterwards she stated there was a reason she and Khloé are still following each other on Twitter: "It's called not judging someone." Bad news girls—judging someone is like really important when you're taking sides in a beef. Ruby Rose might be the next squadster to drop.

In a world full of pranks that end up on the internet, this is a pretty good one. When Nathan Wall's mother Sharon told him she wanted to get in on the Pokémon Go craze, he told her how to do it, just like a good son. Unfortunately, he lied about how to do it, like a 22-year-old.
As you can see in Nathan's recording above, she did it. But she did burst into uncontrollable laughter almost immediately after she said it, letting her off the hook easy. He could have really dragged that one out, but he's not a monster. Just a person looking to bust his mom's chops, like everyone else.

Nurse Mary Walls Penney, who specializes in treating patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia, wrote a Facebook post about a cashier who shamed her for having rainbow-colored hair. The cashier noticed her name tag, and asked what she did at the health care facility. Upon learning she was a nurse, the cashier said “I’m surprised they let you work there like that. What do your patients think about your hair?” The cashier then doubled-down on sucking by asking someone else in the checkout line what they thought of her brightly-colored hair.

Well, here's my thoughts. I can't recall a time that my hair color has prevented me from providing life saving treatment to one of my patients. My tattoos have never kept them from holding my hand and as they lay frightened and crying because Alzheimer's has stolen their mind. My multiple ear piercings have never interfered with me hearing them reminisce about their better days or listening to them as they express their last wishes. My tongue piercing has never kept me from speaking words of encouragement to a newly diagnosed patient or from comforting a family that is grieving. So, please explain to me how my appearance, while being paired with my cheerful disposition, servant's heart, and smiling face, has made me unfit to provide nursing care and unable to do my job!
That was such a perfect response that she deserves to drop a mic, except both her hands are likely busy comforting patients.
It's hard to believe, but beloved boy band One Direction has been a part of our lives for six years. Though the band has been on hiatus for several months, its members were celebrating the anniversary on social media.
Is it just me, or does this feel kind of like celebrating your six month anniversary with your boyfriend despite the fact you're planning on ending the relationship in the next couple days? One Direction just needs to break up already. Here's why.
1. They're already on a break.
One Direction has been on "hiatus" for months now. They're pulling us along for a brutal Ross-and-Rachel-like roller coaster of emotions. 1D fans can't wait ten years to find out if the band is ever going to get back together. If they haven't decided whether they want to be together or not yet, chances are they never will. It's time to pull the band-aid off and just break up for real.
2. They'll never again be as adorable as they were in 2012.
Remember the music video for What Makes You Beautiful? It's embedded below in case you've forgotten. Look at these tiny, adorable teens running around on the beach wearing coordinating sweaters! The lyrics don't make any sense! They're so fun and cute! Now that One Direction has become full-grown adults, they're much less charming. Things will never be the way they used to be. We'll never have another What Makes You Beautiful. We all need to just accept that and move on.
3. They lost the hot one.
Zayn Malik's exit from the band last year was a devastating blow that shook One Direction's perfect boy band to its core. For over a year, the band has been struggling to cope without the traditional "Insanely Hot One." His departure upset 1D's boy band balance. If they continue on without him much longer, they'll surely implode. It's better to end it before that happens.
4. Harry's hair is destined for better things.
Harry Styles has the hair of an angel, even with his new shorter haircut. He should be starring in Herbal Essences commercials or modeling for those photos in the window at the hair salon, not sitting up late at night wondering if and when his boy band is ever going to get back together. One Direction needs to let Harry go. He can't be tied down anymore. It's time to for his hair to live out its full potential.
5. I still don't know which one Liam is.
Does anyone know which one Liam is? Or Niall or Louis, for that matter? The band as it stands right now is just Harry Styles and three Not-Harry's. These poor guys are overshadowed by Harry and his angel locks. It's not worth staying if you don't feel appreciated, guys. Go find your truth. Live your dreams. You deserve it.

In an interview withUSA Today, Gwen revealed her 20-year relationship with her husband, singer Gavin Rossdale began to crumble the day after the Grammys, in February 2015, she filed for divorce that August. Three months later, a rep for Gwen confirmed the rumors that she and Blake (also on the rebound) were dating. Neither one of them have been able to shut up about it since.

A "Kardashian snitch" has informed MediaTakeOut that reclusive Rob Kardashian and his fiancée (and soon-to-be-baby momma) Blac Chyna just had a dramatic break up over "suspicious texts" on Chyna's phone. According to MTO, the couple was taping for Keeping Up With the Kardashians when Rob spotted the texts and a huge fight happened on camera. Hmmm. That's bad news for the couple, but (sadly) FANTASTIC news for the TV show and whichever crew member will sell their phone footage. Is their split real or just a publicity stunt?
There's not a lot of information (ahem, gossip) available yet, but right after Rob Kardashian supposedly ended things with Chyna, he apparently unfollowed her on Instagram and deleted all pictures of her from his account. She unfollowed him in retaliation, but as of Monday morning had apparently started following him again. Deleting and unfollowing someone is apparently the tossing-their-stuff-in-the-street of digital era breakups. Having the option to delete someone just sounds so harsh.
On Saturday night, DJ and famous Taylor Swift ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris attended Jennifer Lopez's birthday party in Los Angeles, where he was photographed hanging out with his ex's mortal enemy, Kim Kardashian. It's pretty clear which side of that whole situation he's on (hint: not Taylor's).

The picture, posted by rapper French Montana's Instagram account, shows Calvin Harris, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, and French Montana all posing together, so it's not even like Harris just happened to be at the party and maybe was chatting with Kardashian—he posed with her, proudly, in a photograph. That's just about the biggest "screw you" any foe of Swift could pull, aside from actually making out with Kim and Kanye at the same time while wearing a T-shirt reading "I hate Taylor Swift" (which he may have been wearing underneath that button-up; can't know for sure).
Harris had also Snapchatted a video of himself lip-synching Kanye's song "Famous," the one with the lyrics at the center of this whole drama. He deleted it though, so maybe he felt he went too far with that one. Looks like he'd rather parcel out the Taylor Swift hate in bits.
On Saturday, Stephen Curry, Justin Timberlake and Alfonso Ribeiro did "The Carlton" at the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe. The three were paired together at the celebrity golf tournament, which benefits a different charitable foundation every year. The three stars donated a little bit extra to everyone watching, however, by following the lead of Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. His character is best remembered for his signature Carlton dance:
Timberlake is a fantastic dancer, and Curry has the best moves on the court, but no one has rhythm quite like Carlton himself.
This year's golf tournament, by the way, benefited the Stowers Institute for Medical Research, "a non-profit, basic biomedical research organization dedicated to improving human health by studying the fundamental processes of life."
