Dad who was charged $40 to hold his newborn puts baby to work to make the money back.

$

Earlier this month, the internet was baffled by the story of a man who was charged $39.95 by the hospital for the privilege of holding his own newborn baby after his wife's c-section. A nurse had asked his wife during the procedure if they wanted to do a "skin to skin," but they didn't realize until they got the bill that it came with a price tag.

Still, the parents were good-natured about the whole thing. (After all, $40 is a drop in the ocean when it come to childbirth.) The dad shared a photo of the bill on Reddit just to get a laugh. And now he's proving his sense of humor with this follow-up photo of his new son, wearing a t-shirt designed to recoup the losses of his own birth.

Now THAT's a dad joke.

Would you take this baby up on his offer? He is pretty huggable. Honestly, $39.35 seems like a steal for a "shirt to shirt" with that little guy.

Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was destroyed by a bad sledgehammer-wielding hombre.

According to Deadline, at about 5:45a.m. on Wednesday morning, a man dressed as a construction worker destroyed Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with a sledgehammer and a pick-ax. The action was captured on video below.

😂 He said #FuckDonaldTrump and his #Star #donaldtrump #hillaryclinton #HollywoodWalkOfFame

A video posted by Brendaisha (@break_necks_b) on

The aggravated Trump protester told Deadlinethat his name is Jamie Otis. In the video, you can hear Otis say that he is "disgusted" by Trump and that "4 or 5 women" in his family have been sexually assaulted in the past. Otis says that his original intention was to remove the star and auction it off to raise money for the 11 women who have publicly accused the Republican nominee of assault. When Otis discovered that he couldn't remove the star in one piece, he just smashed it up until it looked like a broken eyeshadow.

The star was bequeathed to Donald Trump in January 2007 for his work on The Apprentice. Since Trump announced his candidacy in June 2015, his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been vandalized in many creative ways. It has been adorned with swastikas, had a "mute symbol" spray painted directly over it, and even had a miniature wall erected around it. Although Otis defaced the star, it will probably be fixed or replaced by some poor soul who probably doesn't even support Trump in the deeply blue state of California.

Election day less than two weeks away, so maybe just drink some chamomile tea and chill out instead of risking being thrown in jail by destroying public property. Don't smash. Vote!

Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson opened up about his struggle with depression and credited Kid Cudi's music with saving him from suicide in a recent interview on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club.

"I would have killed myself if I didn't have Kid Cudi," Davidson said. "Absolutely. 100 percent. I truly believe that if [Kid Cudi's 2009 album] Man on the Moon didn't come out, I wouldn't be here."

Kid Cudi recently opened up about his own mental health battle, announcing on Facebook earlier this month that he had checked himself into rehab for depression and suicidal urges. He and Davidson have become friends, and Davidson says that Kid Cudi is "in really good spirits."

You can watch the full interview with Davidson below.

Ciara and Russell Wilson are growing a tiny human, the singer and Seattle Seahawks quarterback announced in matching Instagram posts last night. And if this baby looks anything like its parents, it will be earth-shattering levels of adorable. So batten down the hatches.

"On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family," Ciara, 31, captioned the sweet photo. "And I'm excited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give... 👶🏽🍼💃🏽☺️❤️" Wilson, 27, captioned his post: "The Greatest Blessing of All. Forever Grateful. #BabyWilsonOnTheWay."

The new baby will be in adorable company, joining half brother Future Zahir, Ciara's 2-year-old son with her ex-fiancé, rapper Future.

Ciara and Wilson got married this past summer, three months ago to be exact, after choosing to remain celibate until marriage. But definitely not after marriage, as Ciara made very clear. Much respect.

Amber Tamblyn's pregnancy announcement proves David Cross isn't always a never-nude.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star Amber Tamblynrevealed Wednesday in Glamour that she and her husband, comedian David Cross are expecting a baby girl! As in, she is currently pregnant with one. This baby is going to be, without a doubt, one of the coolest babies ever. Hopefully she won't be born wearing cutoffs like Cross' Arrested Development character, "never-nude" Tobias Fünke.

Earlier this month, the 33-year-old actor and poet divulged an upsetting story about how she'd been the victim of physical abuse at the hands of an ex-boyfriend. That story went viral, and, as she explains in the piece she wrote for Glamour published Wednesday, she worried that her mom would find out about it, so she figured she'd better just tell her herself first. As it turned out, her mother had also gone through a similar experience (which makes sense, because so many women have). When Tamblyn's mom told Tamblyn's grandmother about it, the response was simply, "Boys will be boys."

Tamblyn doesn't see that as an acceptable answer to the problem anymore (not that it ever even was). Her piece in Glamour, titled "The Frame That Holds the Big Picture: How Mothers and Daughters Can Change the Way We Talk About Being Women," discusses motherhood, womanhood, and a specific woman—Hillary Clinton (who also happens to be a mother). In it, she writes,

I’ve been thinking about motherhood a lot lately. What it means to be one, what it means to have one, what it means to know one, what it means to make decisions as one and have conversations as one. I am very lucky to be surrounded by strong mothers, from my own mom to some of my best friends—those who are raising young women to accept themselves and those who are raising young men to accept women.

Motherhood has been heavily on my mind because I am going to be a mother soon. I'm pregnant, with a daughter on the way. I think constantly about the world I am bringing her into. Will I get a phone call from my daughter someday, one she never wanted to make? Will I have to share with her my story, and the story of her great-grandmother’s words to her grandmother? Is it possible to protect her from inheriting this pain? How much do I have to do, as a daughter and a soon-to-be mother, to change not just the conversation about how women are seen, but the language with which conversations are spoken in?

The piece is really interesting, and you can check out the full thing on Glamour's site. And congratulations to Amber Tamblyn and David Cross! See how nice I was there, I didn't even mention that Cross is 20 years older than her oops, yes, I did. Still, love is love, right? And these two have been together a while now and are clearly making it work. Mazel tov.

Guys who've shared naked pictures of their girlfriends attempt to explain themselves.

$

Maybe you've been filmed having sex, or maybe you've just sent a guy some nudes of yourself, and are now questioning whether or not letting the guy have those clips and pics was the best idea.

Well, don't worry, you can rest assured that…he might be showing his friends. Come on, did you expect any better? Here, people in the AskMen subreddit explain what on Earth made them (or other guys) show racy stuff to their friends. Grab some popcorn—you'll need something to throw at the computer screen while reading this.

1. Benjireturns says sometimes the guys feel close enough to some friends that they share everything (and compare). Wonderful.

Personally, that's something I take very seriously and would never (and have never) shared. Hoowwwwever, there are plenty of guys on the other side of the track, too, and many of whom I've known. They aren't all mean spirited guys, some of them have just had friends close enough they feel like they can share that stuff with. I know a group of guys that have all shared videos of their girlfriends around and have talked at length about what the girls would do and compare. On the other hand, my current (main) group of friends would never share any of that information, as that's incredibly private and they/we feel it would be shitty to share. It depends on the guy. For your personal health, sanity, and safety, I would highly recommend not letting anyone video you if other people seeing them would make you uncomfortable unless you're in a stable and long term relationship.

2.Jordan-S clarifies that he wouldn't send it to his friends, but showing them in person is entirely fine.

I would show in person but would never send it to anyone.

3. O9I8U says it has to do with how much respect the dude has for you, and also possibly his age, because younger men tend to be more immature (duh).

Does he have any respect for you at all? If not, then his friends probably have seen the vids. Shit, a guy I knew who'd been with his GF for 4 years still showed me her nudes, and a few other guys as well.

Basically, it's a maybe, but its more likely if he doesn't see you as something long term or important. Also if he's young.

4. Tortoli makes it sound like most men basically look at NOTHING BUT nudes of other dudes' girlfriends, all day, every day.

For context, I'm in my early twenties. I'm sorry to say, but I'm having a hard time thinking of any guy friend that has nudes that hasn't shown them to at least another buddy (not saying they show everyone). The ones that I know don't engage in this, is because they don't have any to show.

I would imagine that this behaviour wanes off as we grow older/become more serious with our girls, but unfortunately for now, this is the reality I've witnessed.

5.H-cho used to, but has since amended his childish ways.

I used to sometimes when i was in my teens/early 20s since i was an asshole. i dont anymore because its kind of fucking rude.

6. For beetnemesis, it all comes down to hot and spicy the action was. So ladies, always try to be boring when you're fooling around on film.

Generally not, but sometimes, if it (or you) was exceptionally hot, or something interesting happened. Also a little more likely if you're just someone from the past, compared to an active relationship.

That said, usually not. It's kind of weird, "Hey who wants to see my cum?" Doesn't come up in conversation much.

7. PrivetKalashnikov shares nude photos and videos with his best friend, but only if they're of girls he's never dated (like one night stands). How noble!

I'll personally share photos and videos with my best friend but only of girls I never dated, one night stands and the like are fair game.

8. OMGImTriggered agrees with O9I8U about the respect aspect, and seems to blame women for being gullible enough to believe he wouldn't show it.

Fuck yeah guys share. Ive had friends show me so many nudes. Women dont seem to understand, if you send out a nude, there is a pretty good chance its been seen by other people. I don't even ask to see them.

I've noticed, the less a guy respects a girl, the more apt he is to share pics.

"check out this girl ive been messing around with."

9. Myshieldsforargus doesn't even bother with friends.

I just put it on pornhub

10. Smaksandewand works with That Guy. You know That Guy, right? Everybody has That Guy somewhere in their lives.

I have this co-worker who (always!) slips in a nudy on his wife when showing pics on any subject and it is simply disgusting!

The general consensus in the rest of the thread, not included in this post, is that A. most men don't share sexy videos and pictures, but some do, and B. it's generally easy to tell which guys are the type to do it, so watch out for anyone super douchey. Even if you can't help yourself and must hook up with immature jerks, just don't let them film or photograph it. Oh, and C. no matter who you're hooking up with, it's probably best to try to keep your head out of nude photos so that even if they are shared, you can't be identified. Or just don't film or photograph explicit stuff at all. OR you could just give up on men entirely. Seems like a good idea to me.

Everyone is convinced this girl on Tinder is looking to harvest a guy's organs.

A viral tweet from @ghxstpuke is introducing the world to Nicole, a fun, flirty 27-year-old on Tinder who wants a guy whose blood and organs she can harvest for her own purposes. Don't believe it? Just read her bio.

I'm looking for a guy who is really trusting and healthy! You must have both kidneys, non smoker, and not be a big drinker or take any drugs that could damage the liver… Type O negative blood a plus!

Is this a joke? If so, it's a weird way to make a first impression on someone you want to date. Then again, dudes on Tinder never read a woman's bio. Which is an advantage when you just want to steal their organs and sell them on the North Korean black market.

Everyone agrees this is fishy.

But not everyone sees the problem.

Tinder shows where everyone's priorities really lie.

Here are 7 things doctors with children refuse to keep in their homes.

If you want to find an over-protective parent, look no further than a doctor. They've just seen too many injuries to not become suspicious of everything in their homes. Here are 7 household items doctors with children are saying they would never allow in their own homes.

1. Styrofoam cups

"Ramen noodles, or similar soups in styrofoam containers, get extremelyhot when microwaved. It's the most common cause of scald burns in toddlers and infants I see," David J. Mathison, MD told Health.com.

Let's leave that Cup-of-Soup scalding for broke college students, instead.

2. Free-standing cupboards

Dr. Kevin Cheng, Medibank’s Medical Director, told Mamamia, "I always ensure that large cupboards are fixed to walls."

Plus, attaching the cupboards will give your super something to do.

3. Throw rugs

"With a throw rug, you're walking quickly to get the phone, or you're up at night to go to the bathroom in the dark and whoops, you've caught your toe on the corner and you go down," Dr. Kaycee Sink told LiveScience. "Throw rugs can actually be worse than stairs in terms of danger. People are more likely to be cautious going up and down stairs, and there's a hand rail."

That settles it. Time to put in hand rails next to our throw rugs.

4. Beads

Dr. Dasha Fielder told Mamamia that "for younger children under four years old, they are too dangerous as they can end up in the nose, ears, mouth and can result in a child having difficulty breathing or ear infections."

Or, you can choose to let your kid have a beautifully decorated surgical procedure.

5. Small batteries

Dr Cheng added how these items "...are definitely dangerous around small children as their ingestion can be lethal.

Infant mortality may have been much higher in the Dark Ages, but there were definitely no battery deaths.

6. Trampolines

"I have treated many children with fractures following an accident on the trampoline and with three children of my own I simply do not feel the need to have it at home," says Dr. Fielder.

You'll have to find another way to get on America's Funniest Home Videos.

7. Hot drinks

Another of Dr. Fielder's insights: "It always happens in a split second, it is always an accident and it can result in significant injury to a child requiring many months of treatment and suffering."

Ok, but how you are supposed to take care of a child without coffee in the morning is a mystery.

British University chooses Zayn Malik as the face of Black History Month.

October is Black History Month in the UK. This year, the student union at the University of Kent decided to choose several prominent people to serve as the face of the campaign on campus. Amongst those famous faces was former member of One Direction, Zayn Malik. Zayn Malik is not black.

Another choice for the campaign was London mayor Sadiq Khan.

Sadiq Khan is not black.

Amidst the backlash, a Twitter account representing "the Official UK guide to the events and people who make every October worth celebrating" registered their deep disappointment in the choices, chiding the Kent Student Union by asking "will Black icons be celebrated by Kent University" during Asian Heritage Month?

The president of the student union behind the posters, Rory Murray, apologized on Facebook.

His apology did not, however, mollify much of the anger directed at Kent University. Here are two of the top comments on Tuesday's apology:

According to the BBC, the Kent Union and the University of Kent also released a "joint statement" saying their "campaign was in line with the National Union of Students' position on Black History Month which chose to 'recognise and celebrate the immense contributions that people of African, Arab, Asian and Caribbean heritage make to humanity.'"

Dr. Sandra "Dr. Pimple Popper" Lee has outdone herself with a recent popping video of a large, pronounced, perfectly spherical cyst on a patient's upper arm. Always the poet, she describes the cyst in her video as a "doorknob," a "meatball," and a "hard-boiled egg." But to us, it just looks like everything she posts: heaven.

Now that was a satisfying one. Like slipping into a warm bath full of skin cells.

Pussy Riot wrote a song for Trump about his favorite thing to grab.

Everyone's favorite Russian punk band Pussy Riot have released a new music video with a very pertinent message about vaginas. Ever since the now-infamous tape of Donald Trump saying "grab 'em by the pussy" was leaked, the internet has been swept up in an actual "pussy" riot. So naturally, they dedicated the video to him.

“Straight Outta Vagina,” which you can watch below, was shot earlier this year, and features band member Nadya Tolokonnikova singing English lyrics like, "Vagina is gonna win the race/Vagina gonna play in space.” The chorus goes, “Don’t play stupid, don’t play dumb/Vagina’s where you’re really from.”

“This song could be considered an answer to Trump,” said Tolokonnikova in an interview with The Guardian. “But I believe the idea of powerful female sexuality is much bigger than any populist megalomaniac man … Vagina is bigger than Trump.”

Tolokonnikova also criticized Trump for his cozy relationship with Russia's President, and for adopting Putin's aggressive—and dare I say misogynist—style of leadership. “Politicians are praising ‘strong leadership,’” she said. “Trump openly supports the authoritarian methods of Vladimir Putin. And it’s scary. It’s not the world in which I want to live.”

Back in 2012, Putin famously sentenced the Pussy Riot members to two years in prison for performing a protest song in a church. So it makes sense they don't take Trump's Putin-esque words lightly.

This video is the perfect antidote to the scourge of Trumpitis that has sickening America in recent months. You can watch it here:

Instagram trainer Carly Rowena uses belly magic to prove ab selfies are an illusion.

If you spend a lot of time on Instagram, you're probably upset that you don't have rock-hard six-pack abs 100% of the time. But the reality is that there's a lot that goes into those abs—hard work, time, and good old-fashioned sucking in your gut. Carly Rowena, a personal trainer in the UK, took to Instagram recently to dispel some of the social media myths about healthy bodies to her 90,000 followers.

In this next video, she demonstrates how vastly different her abdomen looks just depending on her posture and positioning. As she is quick to point out, even the most fit people don't look like a magazine cover all the time.

Rowena's point is simple—your fitness goals should be based on your health, not your appearance. Comparing yourself to airbrushed models on workout magazines will never work, because you're a three-dimensional person who occasionally eats a sandwich. But if you're realistic about your goals, and what actual human bodies look like, then you'll realize that getting in shape is not as hard, or as scary, as you imagined.

This fitness trainer's video of her bare pregnant belly got her suspended from Instagram.

Brittany Perille found her very popular Instagram account suspended on Thursday, after the fitness trainer posted a video of her bare, pregnant belly. Keep in mind, she's posted tons of pictures of her abs when they were ripped, but now that those muscles are stretched over a growing human baby, some people apparently find it inappropriate for her to show them at all.

In an interview with People, the 27-year-old says that she thinks some of her almost one million followers were freaked out by seeing her body in a way they weren't used to, and she was reported for "nudity." She told the magazine,

I have posted tons of exercise videos working out in a public gym wearing athletic sports bras and yoga pants, but this time it was different. This video was the first video—I had yet to share my new body, my mommy-to-be body. This video showcased my new baby bump where my washboard abs used to be. I guess my six-month-pregnant belly was too much for Instagram to handle.

She continued, "I couldn’t believe I was shut down for posting a bare belly pregnancy workout video. I didn’t understand how my video was seen as violating Instagram’s community guidelines of no 'nudity.'"

She also says that since her pregnancy she's started receiving body shaming comments on her Instagram pictures and videos, something that didn't happen much before. She explained,

So many people have been conditioned to think women are "out of shape" and handicapped while being pregnant. Being pregnant doesn’t mean you have to be ashamed of your constantly changing growing body and it sure doesn’t mean stopping all exercising my body was conditioned to do before getting pregnant. I believe this is why I have received much negativity.

Perille's Instagram account has since been reinstated, but the suspension still put a ding in her business. She said, "Being told by Instagram [that] my account has been 'permanently deactivated' had cost me my sponsorship with Legion Athletics Supplement Company and also halted the online sales of my program."

Folks, it's okay. She's pregnant now, but it's not forever. And her body is no more or less nude in the same sports bra and bike shorts than it was before she was pregnant. If you don't like it, unfollow, but reporting her is a little underhanded.
