Kendall Jenner and Pepsi are getting slammed for their incredibly tone-deaf "protest" ad.

Wow, Kendall Jenner is so woke that she decided to walk out on her modeling gig for the day and join a street protest. Because street protests are cool and a great way to reach the millennial audience right now, especially since the millennial audience has been drinking lots of seltzer and kombucha and Pepsi sales are down.

Let's hand it to Pepsi for tapping into the zeitgeist (politics and multiculturalism are like, so hot right now!) to peddle soda to the masses. What an ad! Here it is in all of its glory, and yes, this is a COMMERCIAL that is over two minutes :)

Damn, you know when you're a minority living in Trump's America and you're legit afraid about losing your rights, but then you remember that you can sip a Pepsi, and everything is chill again? Yeah, this is a bad ad, and people are not into it. I don't even know how to address the insanity that is Kendall taking off a blond wig to reveal that she is a white brunette lady (gasp!) before joining what has to be the most generic protest on earth (with signs that read "join the conversation"), and solving police brutality and racism by handing a cop a Pepsi. Here's what some other people have to say about the latest attempt to leverage social consciousness and political engagement by a brand that has no business doing so:

20 advertisers have pulled out of 'The O'Reilly Factor' in the last 24 hours.

After news broke on Saturday that Fox News and The O'Reilly Factorpaid out more than $13 Million to settle with women who have accused the network's anchor of inappropriate or sexual behavior and verbal abuse, advertisers began to freak out. In the past 24 hours, at least 20 advertisers have pulled their ads from the show.

The charge was led on Monday evening by Mercedes and Hyundai, Jezebel reports, and since then a flurry of other advertisers have also dropped. CNN reports that BMW of North America, Mitsubishi Motors, Lexus, Constant Contact, Bayer, Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, Orkin, UNTUCKit, Allstate, Esurance (which is owned by Allstate), T. Rowe Price, GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi, Credit Karma, Wayfair, The Wonderful Company, TrueCar and the Society for Human Resource Management have pulled ads as well. Crazy how advertisers don't want to be associated with a dirtbag like Bill O'Reilly, huh?

The O'Reilly Factor is the most popular show on cable news. Let that sink in for a minute. The O'Reilly Factor is the most popular show on cable news. Paul Rittenberg, the executive vice president of advertising sales at Fox News, spoke on the situation saying, "we value our partners and are working with them to address their current concerns about the O'Reilly Factor. At this time, the ad buys of those clients have been re-expressed into other FNC programs."

What this means is that Fox overall hasn't lost any of that ad revenue, because they've been able to redistribute their ads to other programming. How is Bill O'Reilly not fired yet? Life is a mystery.

Merriam-Webster defines 'complicit' after Ivanka Trump admits she doesn't know what it means.

What does it mean to be complicit? It's a word that's been used to describe Ivanka Trump's powerful position in her father's campaign and now his presidential agenda, and yet, it seems she still might not know how to define the word herself. A clip from a CBS News interview with the newest "Assistant to the President," Ivanka is asked by journalist Gayle King if she believes that she is, indeed complicit.

"If being complicit is wanting to be a force for good and to make a positive impact then I’m complicit,” she says. “I don’t know that the critics who may say that of me, if they found themselves in this very unique and unprecedented situation that I am now in, would do any differently than I am doing...I don’t know what it means to be complicit, but you know, I hope time will prove that I have done a good job and much more importantly that my father’s administration is the success that I know it will be."

Well, lucky for Ivanka, Merriam-Webster, upstanding dictionary of the people that it is, was quick to remind her (and all of us) what the word means (hint: it doesn't mean "being a force for good," and mostly means the opposite).

The concern over Ivanka's complicity was initially raised by journalist Lauren Duca, a claim which she then defended in conversation with Fox News' Tucker Carlson, and was further interrogated by an SNL sketch in which Ivanka (played by Scarlet Johansson) was peddling a perfume called Complicit. The full interview, which takes place inside Ivanka and Jared Trump's new D.C. home, will air in full Wednesday morning. The More You Know...

Claire Danes and her glorious range of facial expressions crush a 'Katy Perry' soap opera.

Although only seven people in the world still watch Homeland, Claire Danes is still crushing it with her ability to act the entire spectrum of human emotion with an eyebrow. This is all on full display in a fairly erratic James Corden sketch that makes no sense but is incredible because it has Claire Danes in it (and James Corden, Jack McBrayer, and Christine Baranski).

All in all, Katy Perry lyrics make a confusing soap opera. Guess which famous line they use the most?

Claire Danes, everyone.

Ann Coulter is dating Jimmie Walker and no one can believe it.

Get ready to be surprised—according to TV writer Norman Lear, conservative commentator Ann Coulter is dating former Good Times star Jimmie Walker. Talk about a match made in WHAT ON EARTH?

How did this "happen"?

While speaking to Black-ish creator Kenya Barris for Entertainment Weekly, Lear talked about casting his friend Jimmie Walker in the role of J.J. on the 70s televisions show Good Times. Lear said he knew the "role could make [Jimmie Walker] a star,” and he was correct because it certainly did (remember his catchphrase, "Dynomite!" No? You're too young? Sigh. GOOGLE IT).

Anyhow, after talking about casting Walker for the role, Lear brought up the subject of Walker's dating life, telling Barris, “I love him; he’s a wonderful guy, but I’ll tell you something about him that’ll astound you: He dates Ann Coulter.” Lear said he'd had dinner with the pair and that Ann Coulter is actually “a dreamy, delicious, sweet person.” COME ON.

Barris was indeed astounded, responding, “J.J. dates Ann Coulter! You couldn’t write that! That’s fantastic!" What a missed opportunity—that would have been the perfect time to exclaim "DYNOMITE!" And also, "WHAT??!"

Choi told Allure that she looks for inspiration everywhere. Well, everywhere but other makeup artist's Instagrams, that is..

When I do illusions now, I draw my inspiration mostly from my surroundings, photography, paintings, and emotions. I try not to look at other makeup artists's work too much and challenge myself to produce original, unique work. My main goal each time I do a new look is to beat myself from yesterday because I'm the biggest critic and competition to myself. It's gotten really hard to impress myself these days but it motivates me to keep trying and doing better.

If I could go back in time and tell my 20-year-old self anything: it is that terrible things will happen, but they will break you to save you. You will never be as thin or as beautiful as you have always wanted to be, but it is okay because someday you'll realize there are more valuable and attractive things about you than your exterior. The boy who took your hand when you were 19 will ask you to marry him one day. You two will hurt each other and have a lot to learn together in the years to come but don't ever doubt his love for you. Don't be so hard on yourself. You're trying your best and that's enough. You will keep messing up but you're not a disappointment. One day when you least expect it, you will finally find something that you're good at and it will reveal you. You will figure it out in your late twenties so just be patient. Everything happens for the best. Any pain will eventually fade no matter how unbearable it seems to be at the moment. Always be a positive energy. Treasure every moment because it could be the last. Tell people that you love them. Make decisions out of hope and not your fear. Your parents will tell you things that you don't want to hear but they are actually right. Family is the most important. You can be happy if you choose to be. You will eventually love yourself. You will be alright. x ____________ BROKEN • A #brokenface makeup #illusion using @makeupforeverofficial @makeupforeverca Aqua lip liners, Aqua XL pencils, artist shadows, Aqua brow and @velourlashesofficial "Whispie Sweet Nothings". Ivanka Trump gives confusing non-answer when asked why she’s silent on her dad's policies.

Ivanka Trump sat down with Gayle King on CBS This Morning to talk about her new life in Washington, D.C. and reveal just how little show knows about the English language in an interview that aired Wednesday morning.

Asked by Oprah's BFF to respond to the critics (and SNL sketch) who say that she is complicit in Donald Trump's harsh agenda, Trump said, "If being complicit is wanting to be a force for good and to make a positive impact then I’m complicit." (Fact: That's not mean "complicit" means.)

Gayle King also asked Ivanka Trump to respond to people who hold her accountable for not speaking up against the anti-women's rights, anti-gay rights, anti-climate actions her dad has taken. The supposedly-charismatic automaton insists that just because she's silent on those issues, doesn't mean she's silent.

"I would say not to conflate lack of public denouncement with silence. I think there are multiple ways to have your voice heard. In some cases, it’s through protest and it’s through going on the nightly news and talking about or denouncing every issue on which you disagree with," she explained.

So, yeah. Just because Ivanka Trump isn't using her position to openly advocate for the rights of women and LGBT people and people of color as Donald Trump brazenly guts their protections and actively seeks to hurt them, doesn't mean she wants to be held accountable for not helping the marginalized.

She's helping something (?) somehow (??).

Despite calling herself an "advocate" throughout the interview, Ivanka Trump said that it's not her job to share her opinions.

Just because you don't see or hear Ivanka Trump stand up for people of color, women and LGBT people, doesn't mean she's not whispering something nice somewhere.

Louis C.K. goes viral with foul-mouthed rant about 'lying' Donald Trump.

Louis C.K. is not shy about his feelings on politics. The comedian made headlines last year when he sent out an email blast condemning Donald Trump, calling him "an insane bigot" and comparing him to Hitler. When Louis C.K. dropped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday, he took a moment to clear up how he really feels about the now-president.

While Louis C.K. admits that he regrets sending out the email, he still believes what he said. He goes on to explain that there are different levels of liars in the world, and that Donald Trump is the most extreme kind - a "gross, crook, dirty lying sack of shit."

When Stephen Colbert points out a Trump voter in the crowd, Louis C.K. makes sure the audience knows he has nothing against the people who voted for the president, calling the guy "the victim of the lying."

"It's not a political position," Louis continued. "It's just when you look at someone and go, 'That guy's a lying sack of shit,' it's just simple. That's what it is."

Fox News contributor reveals their dress code wasn't just sexist, it was downright bizarre.

Jedediah Bila is a former Fox News contributor currently filling the role of token conservative on The View. On Tuesday's episode, she tried to justify the equal pay gap with comments like "men work an average more of two hours a week," infuriating her cohosts.

But as the table cringed at her, Bila pivoted—offering some interesting criticism of the dress code at Fox News, a network currently reeling from a massive sexual harassment scandal centered on their star buffoon Bill O'Reilly.

"You get wardrobe, but it's different from here. You used to go into the room and there were a bunch of dresses that you could choose from. I was told at one point that I wasn't allowed to wear orange because Roger didn't like the color orange. So I didn't wear orange."

"Now that Trump is in office, Roger likes orange again," retorted Joy Behar, stealing the joke I was about to make. Roger Ailes is the former head Fox News, who lost his position over sexual harassment charges by "at least 20" women.

In her comments, Jedediah Bila also confirmed a 2013 comment by Gretchen Carlson that on-air women at Fox were not allowed to wear pants.

"I didn't see any pants. People always say why didn't you wear pants? You'll notice I wear pants a lot here. I didn't wear pants because I didn't see a pants option. I wasn't given a pants option so I had to choose skirts."

Jedediah Bila additionally offered support for Julie Roginsky, a current contributor to Fox News who recently filed a lawsuit against the organization for sexual harassment.

Twitter user @youngweonhi, a 20-year-old college student in Southern California, was just trying to honor the treasured millennial tradition of Instagramming her food when a fame-hungry seagull swooped in at the worst possible moment, ruining her day and her awesome rocky road ice cream cone at the same time. Despite proposing a budget that would savage the organization to the tune of $1.5 billion, President Donald Trump sent Sean Spicer to deliver $78,833 of his salary as a "gift" to a National Park Service representative with a straight face.

Sean Spicer held it together fine, because he has a lot of practice.

But Tyrone Brandyburg, the superintendent at Harpers Ferry National Historic Park, couldn't quite maintain a look of joy for the entire half hour-long ceremony.

President Trump has promised to donate his presidential salary while he's in office, and the $78,333 figure represents his paycheck for his first few months.

But donating to the Park Service is an interesting choice, considering Donald Trump notoriously feuded with the department over sizes of his inauguration crowd. There's also the aforementioned $1.5 billion he wants to cut from the Interior Department, which includes the Park Service. That's about 12 percent of the department budget, according to NPR, and 70K doesn't quite make up for.

Twitter thought the park ranger's un-amused face was the perfect caper to all that meaty irony.

There's no question that contestant Corinne Olympios (along with her cheese pasta-making nanny Raquel) was the star of this year's season of The Bachelor. If you were sitting there watching the show and thinking, "Huh, I wish I could get Corinne's hilariously bizarre quotes on a t-shirt," well, I have some good news for you.

Corinne has teamed up with Riot Society to create a "Team Corn" clothing line, inspired by her many Bachelor catch phrases. (Corinne explained on the show that Corn is her nickname and also a metaphor for her many layers. Much like Shrek's onion.)

Corinne announced her collaboration with Riot Society in an Instagram video posted Tuesday.

In addition to the "Team Corn" products, fans of The Bachelor can also purchase shirts with Corinne-isms such as "Dude I Need Sushi," "Ok, But First Cheese Pasta," "Cheese Pasta & Chill," "I Need A Raquel," and, perhaps the best one, "Platinum Vagine."

There are also several tops that pay homage to Corinne's love of napping.

This powerful Dove commercial silences mommy-shamers everywhere.

Moms face a lot of pressure these days. On top of the stress of raising the next generation, they also have to ward off constant scrutiny and judgment from mommy-shamers who offer their unsolicited advice non-stop. Plus, it is hard not to compare yourself to other moms—moms who seem to be better at "momming" than you are. The pressure from the Mommy Mafia is real, but truth is, there is no "right way" to raise a baby. So now Dove is celebrating diverse mothers with different parenting styles in their new #RealMoms campaign, because we can't all be June Cleaver.

Check out their lovely new ad below:

Meet #RealMoms whose diverse parenting styles shatter stereotypes about motherhood and prove that there are no rules about how to be a parent today. From Cassidy, who is raising her son on a cattle ranch, to Elise, who brings her daughter to breakdance battles – we're so inspired by moms around the country who trust their way.

Earlier this month, a Dove ad that ran in the UK Metro system that sparked debate when it posed the question "Is there a perfect mum?" alongside an artificially rendered woman with perfect hair cradling a baby in her arms.

But of course, the purpose of the billboard was meant start an important discussion.

"The 'Perfect Mum' experiment addresses a real issue in society: images of seemingly perfect parenting in the media and social media are denting mum’s confidence to be herself," said Baby Dove brand manager Marcus Buck. "In reality, there’s no 'right' or 'wrong' way to be a parent, just your way. That's why it's important for parents everywhere to trust their instincts and feel confident in their own parenting abilities, rather than worry about how well others seem to be doing it."

Right on.

What all this has to do with soap, I have no idea, but this Dove commercial is so awesome that we will forgive that.

Teen channels 'La La Land' in adorable musical promposal to Emma Stone.

If you're not going to stage an epic promposal asking your chosen someone to prom, what's the point of even going, right? In the race for the biggest, grandest, most romantic gesture, high school student Jacob Staudenmaier has recreated the opening scene from a little movie called La La Land. Which makes perfect sense, since the person he's asking to prom is Emma Stone.

Staudenmaier, who attends Arcadia High School in Phoenix, Arizona, posted the La La Land video he made (with the help of a bunch of other people) to Twitter, where it's been viewed over 70,000 times.

So did Emma Stone say yes? Or no? Or anything to Jacob Staudenmaier at all? Has she even seen the video? Speaking to USA Today, Staudenmaier said, “I haven’t heard anything specifically from her. I’ve heard a rumor and sort of a confirmed truth that her mom has seen it. I assume at some point it will get to her.”

Asked whether he had a backup plan, Staudenmaier told USA Today, “I have this girl that I know that says she’d love to go. Even if Emma says yes she said she would be completely fine with that.” So either way, he's all set.

Dozens of advertisers are pulling their support from The O'Reilly Factorafter it was revealed that Fox News has paid $13 million to settle sexual harassment suits.

In an interview with the New York Times, Trump criticized the media, except for his kindred spirit, Bill O'Reilly.

In the Oval Office, Trump said of O'Reilly:

“I think he’s a person I know well — he is a good person,” said Mr. Trump, who during the interview was surrounded at his desk by a half-dozen of his highest-ranking aides, including the economic adviser Gary Cohn and Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, along with Vice President Mike Pence.

“I think he shouldn’t have settled; personally I think he shouldn’t have settled,” said Mr. Trump. “Because you should have taken it all the way. I don’t think Bill did anything wrong.”

The National Organization for Women called on Bill O'Reilly to be fired, but the President of the United States insists that the cable news host is "a good person."

A previous sexual harassment scandal also lead to the ouster of the network's founding chairman, Roger Ailes, whom Donald Trump also defended.

Here’s why Anne Hathaway regrets posting this photo of her son.

In March, Oscar-winner Anne Hathaway posted a picture of her one-year-old son Jonathan on Instagram. Well, the back of her son, as he was watching a video of Hathaway speaking at the UN. The picture is really cute, but now she's saying that she actually regrets posting it.

In an interview with Jezebel, Anne Hathaway revealed that almost as soon as she posted it, she wished she hadn't (question: is she not aware that you can delete an Instagram picture?). She explained, "I felt like I had broken some kind of a seal in inviting people into my life. And even though I felt as though I had done it in as protective a way as I could, even though it was a moment I was incredibly proud of, I don’t know that I’ll ever do it again."

Instead, Anne Hathaway says that she's going to be more careful about what she posts on social media. She told Jezebel:

I’m a big believer that you gotta mess things up sometimes to really see them properly, so if I made a mistake or I messed up, I know how I feel about it much better now. Instagram, when I first started, it was so much fun. And it was a great way to be silly and kind of do things off the cuff. And now, because of the time we live in, I think words and pictures are carrying a much greater weight. Or, much less depending on how you engage with it.

So don't expect to see anymore pictures of Anne Hathaway's son or other aspects of her private life on her Instagram page. However, she did mention that she finds Instagram Stories to be "a little freer and a little looser," so who knows what all she could end up posting there.
