Trump's campaign has an 'Official Jam' sung by little girls and it's officially nuts.

Holy sh*t: a prepubescent girl pop trio called the "Freedom Girls" performed at a Donald Trump rally in Florida yesterday, and it's one of the most surreal things that has happened in Trump's campaign so far. They're performing a song loosely based on the WWI propaganda tune "Over There," but somehow it feels more jingoistic in this context than it was for a World War. It's like a North Korea propaganda video with a Kidz Bop soundtrack.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPRfP_TEQ-g

And here is the best GIF we could make from this, because, again, holy sh*t.

Like if the Brady Bunch girls were part of the Manson family.

The video is already prompting sweeping conclusions about the Trump campaign:

Only Sailor Moon can stop him now.

Cancer continues being a real jerk this week and claims Céline Dion's husband, René Angélil.

Cancer, never popular, has been an extra-huge asshole this week with the recent deaths of David Bowie and Alan Rickman, and on Thursday it claimed another much-loved celebrity: music manager and Céline Dion's husband, René Angélil. Angélil discovered the young Céline in Quebec at the age of 12 (he is 26 years older) when he was sent a tape by her brother in 1980. He mortgaged his home to produce her first album, helped her learn English to break into the American market. In 1994, the two wed. In a statement to People, a rep for Dion said:

Rene Angélil, 73, passed away this morning at his home in Las Vegas after a long and courageous battle against cancer.

Angélil and Dion getting photobombed by a giant Oscar in 2012.

This was Angélil's third fight with cancer; he previously had surgery to remove a tumor from his throat. He leaves behind not only Dion and their three children, but two adult children from a previous relationship.

Dion's Facebook page posted this short note:

Many shared their condolences on Twitter, including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau:

YouTuber creates video saying his ex, Nicole Arbour of 'Dear Fat People,' abused him. She responds.

Matthew Santoro, a popular YouTuber with five million followers, released a video more serious than his usual comedic fare, opening up about a physically and emotionally abusive relationship. While he doesn't mention her by name, many have reported that the ex he is speaking about is fellow YouTuber Nicole Arbour, whose "Dear Fat People" video went viral last fall.

Santoro wrote that he initially recorded the video in September and had it listed as private, but recently set it to public by accident, and when his fans began to respond, he kept it as public. In the video, Santoro says through tears, "Domestic violence knows no gender. It happens to men and women. It's sad that we live in a society where people think we're supposed to be quiet about these things, and it's wrong."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ27W2K12fk

Arbour first responded to the allegations quite flippantly in the comments of one of her videos:

https://twitter.com/KEEMSTARx/status/686463267695366144?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

Arbour expanded her defense by subtweeting before releasing a "rebuttal video" to deny the claims.

https://twitter.com/NicoleArbour/status/686584142398656514https://twitter.com/NicoleArbour/status/687014959176380417

On her channel, Arbour said that the hitting incident did not happen, and accused Santoro of abusing his popularity to manipulate viewers: "It's an abuse of a platform of young, impressionable followers. It did not happen," she said, "His video he put out is just another way to hurt me, and my career that's growing quickly."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rX19DiD_a9E

YouTuber Rob Dyke, a close friend of Santoro's, made a video about the alleged abuse back in September, and said that the police had to get involved:

Famous couples—at all levels of celebrity—often discuss their breakups publicly. But things can get particularly complicated with YouTubers and other social media celebrities who address their fans directly rather than go through a third party like People magazine or publicists. While this will not likely be resolved over YouTube, here's hoping that the discussion inspires people in abusive relationships to open up and seek help.

Six-year-old asks for an advance on his allowance. DAD Savings and Loan decides he's not eligible.

It's common practice for kids to receive an allowance, and it's incredibly typical for kids to shirk on the duties that they are supposed to do in return for their parents' cash. Avoiding responsibilities like the plague is what childhood is all about.

Imgur user sonan303 has a six-year-old son who acted his age by burning through his cash and failing to do his chores. Instead of, say, waiting for the next allowance period, this brazen boy asked for an advance. He was denied, harshly.

1-314-mom's-number is the universal complaint line for kids not getting what they want.

While the kid failed to get his cash, he did get a free lesson in dad jokes and the cruelty of banks. Assuming, that is, that the young boy can understand half the words on that piece of paper, because he's six.

El Chapo didn't really want to meet Sean Penn. He wanted to get laid.

Recently leaked text messages from El Chapo show that the notorious drug lord never even heard of Sean Penn. According to NBC news, El Chapo asked his attorney, "What is the name of this actor again?"

That explains the awkward handshake.

https://twitter.com/Slate/status/687267242506096640

The former fugitive was hot to set up a secret meeting with someone else though: Latin soap opera actress Kate del Castillo. That's probably why he bought that jazzy button-down! It was reportedly her idea to bring Penn into the mix, and that's the real reason the bizarro meeting took place. The New York Times reports that the actress and El Chapo were flirty texting for months before his arrest. He offered to get her a light pink cell phone, "suitable for a woman," and even to have her meet his mother. Who knew a murderous narcotics kingpin could be so romantic?

Del Castillo posted on Twitter that she looks forward to sharing her story. The first question a journalist might ask: Why do you sign your name to your tweets?

Don't look at this guy's giant hernia unless you're a true connoisseur of the gross.

The true gift of the Internet isn't that it connects people around the world; it's that it allows us to all stare at other people's pus-filled cysts and other bodily issues from the privacy of our own homes and/or on our phones on the subway where everyone can see. With that in mind, meet Glenn Williams, a 67-year-old man who developed a soccer-ball-sized hernia after a bowel cancer surgery, because a giant hernia is just what a man who underwent cancer surgery needs.

https://twitter.com/Leicester_Merc/status/686665168231636992

Now, you might think that you're OK looking at a giant hernia. But here's the thing: This isn't just a video of a giant hernia. It's a giant hernia that pops out of Williams's body when he coughs. You've been warned.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hv3sw8pzR_U

According to plastic surgeon Graham Offer, who performed the procedure, hernias of this size weren't operable as a recently as a few years ago. But thanks to a new technique that splits and then layers the abdominal muscles, Williams's hernia has been fixed.

A Jeep is driving around with a big 'Star Wars' spoiler. And no, not the car kind of spoiler.

Reddit user westcoastwildcat found a car that has turned to the Dark Side of the Force. Instead of having those cutesy family decals on the back windshield of the car, the Vader-black Jeep just has a big ol' spoiler for The Force Awakens. That means if you keep scrolling down this page, you will see a spoiler for The Force Awakens.

Seriously. It spoils a big part of the movie. The movie which you should have seen by now. So if you go past this point, it's very much your fault.

How many accidents has this caused?

So what happened to the owner of this car? Did someone ruin the film for them, driving (ha) them to exact their revenge on the masses? Did they lose a bet? Or is the owner of this car simply a grade-A jerkwad? It's probably that last one. Search your feelings. You know it to be true.

Carly Fiorina won the news coverage of the undercard #GOPDebate with her Hillary Clinton diss.

The undercard GOP debate gets less and less press with every iteration—this one aired at 5pm EST on the Fox Business Network—but Carly Fiorina broke through the media blackout with a dig at Hillary Clinton's marriage. In response to a question asking candidates to assess the current economy, Fiorina said she was honored to stand next to "two former Iowa caucus winners" and then said she's "actually done things with her life" before lowering her metaphorical shoulder and hitting Hillary Clinton without naming her. "Unlike another woman in this race," she says at about 0:50 into this video, "I actually enjoy spending time with my husband."

She also took on Trump in that response, interestingly, saying both he and Clinton exemplify "crony capitalism."

The first Republican debate of 2016 is in the books, baby. There were thrills! Chills! Ted Cruz hated on "New York values" (bagels with a schmear?), Chris Christie calling Obama "a petulant child" in his most effective ad hominem insult yet, Ben Carson made surprising new facial expressions, and more. The mud flew hard and fast, and Twitter had a field day! Here are the top 25 reactions to the first 2016 GOP Debate:

Donald Trump and Ted Cruz argue over "New York values." It doesn't sound positive.

$

Yesterday, Ted Cruz created a brouhaha by saying Donald Trump's campaign song should be "New York, New York," because "he embodies New York values." Trump, who has never shied from his identity as a New Yorker, took offense, as did a large segment of the (often NYC-based) news media. But what does that mean? Was Ted Cruz praising Donald Trump's business success, energy, and creativity? That seems...unlikely. People didn't have to wait long to see Cruz asked this question, since it came up quickly in Thursday night's GOP debate on Fox Business News. Watch the clip and see if you can figure out what it means:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TM6qRl3dSME

Well, no one actually said what it means, but apparently everyone in South Carolina knows exactly what it means. Which kind of makes everyone in South Carolina sound like a huge jerk (which they're not, and that's why you shouldn't generalize). Many people think it's just a nastier version of "East Coast elites." New Yorkers probably wouldn't argue that they're the most elite of the East Coast elites. After all, George W. Bush used "Massachusetts" as an effective insult against John Kerry in 2004. Many others, however, remember very similar phrases have a long and nasty history. There is the famous West Wing scene about a "New York sense of humor," although in Cruz's case (and he made the remark in response to a dig from Trump about Cruz being born in Canada) it's likely more about all of the types of folks and the types of beliefs they hold than a specific group.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbgoAchOhEk

Wait, what were those New York values, again? Oh, right, abortion and money—all anyone in a city with more people than 38 of the 50 states cares about.

Shut-in.

Hillary Clinton was on The Tonight Show Thursday night to talk Trump, Bernie, and most pressingly to the campaign: Snapchat. In this election cycle, it's not only vital that the future president has a strong grasp on policy and a vision for the future, but is able to be super hip with the kidz and Snapchat their Instagrams to the Facebook tweets.

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris get an uncomfortable memento of their date thanks to one obnoxious kid.

#GirlSquad commander in chief Taylor Swift and boyfriend Calvin Harris, the DJ who became super hot circa 2013, were on a quaint dinner date the other night at the Giorgio Baldi Ristorante in Santa Monica. Before the couple even had a chance to place an order, they were bombarded by a fan. While this likely happens quite often, this kid was more aggressive than the average sycophant.

The kid sat down at Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris's small table, took Harris's menu, and nonchalantly posed for a photo. "Awesome dinner with mom and dad," reads the caption of his invasive Instagram.

Awesome dinner. The best. Personal space not encroached on at all.

Sincere faces of happiness.

It's photos like these that remind the plebeians that being a celebrity is actually awful.

The New Yorker cartoon honoring Alan Rickman is sad and funny and perfect.

The New Yorker shared an image Thursday of their cartoon honoring Alan Rickman, who passed away from cancer at 69 that same day. The artists at The New Yorker have really been called upon to come up with poignant drawings recently, since David Bowie also died earlier this week, also from cancer.

Rickman was famous for many roles, but was frequently cast as more of a character actor than a leading man, often in a villain's role. He was interesting, nuanced, and more fun than the hero, every time. In this cartoon, two of his most famous oppositional heroes get together to reflect on the yin to their yang:

That's Harry Potter drinking a butter beer and John McClane sipping on something iconic to Die Hard. (Whiskey? Water? Who here is a die hard Die Hard fan?)

And if you missed it, here's their cartoon honoring Bowie, who is amongst the stars now:

Nicki Minaj responds to Adele copping her raps.

Nicki Minaj tweeted high praise for the way Adele rapped Minaj's lyrics from "Monster." The Kanye West hit (which featured Minaj) was just one of many songs Adele belted out during her recent carpool karaoke session with James Corden. Adele nailed it, just like she did with every other song she sang. Receiving a compliment from Minaj is no small feat, as she's known to throw shade and get in Twitter feuds quite easily. She had nothing but praise for Adele:

https://twitter.com/NICKIMINAJ/status/687521370385743872

Adele doesn't tweet much, but even she shared how proud she was of the carpool karaoke:

Once again, everyone loves everything Adele does. And they should. When's she not being gritty and emotionally raw with lyrics, she's being silly and making us laugh

Emma Watson's tweet about Alan Rickman is being called self-serving by people with their own agenda.

Emma Watson, like many celebrities, took to social media this week to share memories and thoughts of Alan Rickman. One of Watson's many tweets shared a quote from Rickman.

https://twitter.com/EmWatson/status/687659647654850561

"There is nothing wrong with a man being a feminist, I think it is to our mutual advantage," the tweet reads. Rickman said those words in a March interview on One Plus One. At the time, Rickman was promoting his film A Little Chaos, for which he also gave an interview with Entertainment Weekly where he said, "I always think feminism just means common sense."

Instead of celebrating Rickman for his prolific career, some are taking advantage of Watson's tweet to spread hate by claiming she used Rickman's eloquent words for her own good.

https://twitter.com/Dekashoko/status/687681396807217152https://twitter.com/Dekashoko/status/687694062196002816https://twitter.com/1984WS1/status/687777597464440836https://twitter.com/phatb0y/status/687682013390868480https://twitter.com/gerraawr/status/687663387656888320https://twitter.com/FraserAust/status/687820132387704832https://twitter.com/TomsAllende/status/687661536849096704

Yes, think about it again. Nope, still seems like one of Watson's many tweets about Rickman was a positive quote from him, and nothing more.

Meanwhile, there have been no complaints that people are pushing a pro-Harry Potter agenda with this falsely attributed quote.

Backstreet Boy Nick Carter got arrested, and the cops had a good time with their report.

$

The Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter was arrested Wednesday night in a Key West, Florida bar called The Hog's Breath Saloon for misdemeanor battery, after he allegedly punched a bouncer. The arrest documents initially listed his occupation as "none," probably because cops hate boy bands and none of them watch Dancing With The Stars.

He knows the meaning of being lonely.

Or maybe they just didn't know who he was. They did make a note, however, of his "very white" teeth.

Carter showing off his "very white teeth" at the DWTS finale in November.

According to the police report, Carter, who is currently expecting a baby with his wife Lauren Kitt, and a companion were cut off by the bartenders for being too drunk and became belligerent after security took them outside. The police described both men as "intoxicated and slurring their words" but didn't say anything about whether or not they were (uh-oh) "drowning" in liquor, or if he's (sorry) "inconsolable." As of Thursday, he was being held at the local county jail on a $1500 bond, but is no longer listed on the roster of inmates.

7 times the Internet was outraged by celebrities posting innocent photos of their kids.

$

Celebrities love posting pics of themselves, and their fans love looking at those pics. Their fans also find plenty to criticize when they're scrolling through celebrity Twitter or Instagram accounts. And once those famous people start posting anything baby-related? Forget it. Everyone has an opinion on how parents should conduct themselves, what they should eat, and even the cuteness level of celebrity children. Here are 7 times that posts about their kids came around and bit a celebrity on the ass:

1. Ice T and Coco

https://twitter.com/FINALLEVEL/status/673902544641507328?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

After doing a pretty amazing photo shoot with their adorable newborn, Ice T and Coco got a lot of people commenting that the couple was exploiting her, because she already has her own Twitter account. Here's how they responded:

https://twitter.com/FINALLEVEL/status/673905035047215104?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

2. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively

https://www.instagram.com/p/4MdCNJx4O1/?taken-by=blakelively

In a photo posted by wife Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds is carrying their new baby in a sling that isn't properly secured around his waist. So cute! Except that so many people criticized him about it he had to go on the TODAY Show to let everyone know he got the message, saying:

The baby's not properly secured in the vessel that I'm wearing there...I'm a first-time dad, and that is not the first mistake I've made. I can guarantee you it won't be last. I'd never used that particular carrier before. Every other time has been perfect.

3. Alyssa Milano

https://www.instagram.com/p/_xlYkrPJKC/

Alyssa Milano is very open about breastfeeding her kids, and thinks it's something she should be able to do publicly even if it upsets people like Wendy Williams. However, it wasn't her intention to become an advocate on the issue. After posting photos of herself breastfeeding, the haters came out of the woodwork. That's what pushed Milano to stand up to criticism–once she was done feeding her baby.

4. Mark Zuckerberg

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10102586759120781&set=a.529237706231.2034669.4&type=3&theater

Facebook friend Mark Zuckerberg shared an image of his baby waiting to get vaccinated, with no comment on the virtues or imaginary dangers of innoculations. That was enough. The comments are a firestorm of anti-vaxxer rhetoric and equally angry people telling them they're garbage. Cute baby though.

5. Solange Knowles

https://www.instagram.com/p/uTHK84QotM/?taken-by=saintrecords

Solange occasionally posts photos of her 10-year-old son Julez, who is adorable. But because some people are monsters, she has no mercy when it comes to shutting down haters who post sh*t like this:

6. Mayim Bialik

In this case, Mayim Bialik sees breastfeeding her 3-year-old son on the subway to be completely natural and normal, so this is an "innocent" picture to her. On the other hand, there's no way in hell she didn't know that it would be controversial. Bialik is very committed to attachment parenting and allowed her children to wean themselves when they were ready. She even wrote a book about it. Many people are still slow to come around to her perspective, however.

https://twitter.com/RiskOfRuin256/status/681628833800392705

7. Alicia Silverstone

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qj_OBfO5xgo

Alicia Silverstone is another attachment-style parent with a very different perspective on what is "normal." She posted this video of sharing chewed food with her son on her blog, writing:

I fed Bear the mochi and a tiny bit of veggies from the soup from my mouth to his. It’s his favorite…and mine. He literally crawls across the room to attack my mouth if I’m eating. This video was taken about a month or 2 ago when he was a bit wobbly. Now he is grabbing my mouth to get the food!

Many people pointed out there are lots of ways to break down food for a baby without using your mouth, but that's really for Silverstone to decide when it comes to her own child. But, like everyone on this list, as a celebrity she is always in the spotlight. Especially when she shares crazy videos like this on the Internet.

BONUS: Chrissy Teigen

https://www.instagram.com/p/9aUWqGJjfk/

The baby isn't even out of Chrissy Teigen yet, and she's getting criticized for everything. From people who think she should get married before having a baby (SHE IS, STUPID), to people who don't think she should eat cereal. Yeah, a lot of people have time to criticize celebrities for eating cereal. Teigen know who those people are though. Cowards.
