Woman mocks LeBron James right as he happens to turn around and look at her.

This lucky lady had courtside tickets to the Cavaliers/Golden State Warriors game on Christmas, but forgot that sitting in the front row has one major drawback—it makes mocking athletes like LeBron James a decidedly riskier activity. After James appealed the referees' decisions several times in the game, she decided to make her feelings known to the loudly-dressed Warriors fans sitting next to her, making the universal symbol for "check out this crybaby." At that exact moment, however, the 6'8" crybaby just happened to turn around and catch her.

Let this be a reminder that if your favorite part of attending NBA games is making fun of the guys on the hardwood (and many do), save yourself a huge chunk of money and sit safely in the back. Here's another clip of the exchange:

Nice recovery, lady, although it would have helped if you feigned more interest in that cold bottle of water that guy was proudly offering you.

Hillary Clinton's Kwanzaa logo results in second anti-pandering hashtag in one week, #NewHillaryLogo.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is still the hands-down front-runner for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States of America, but she's also the two-time champion of Internet pandering for the week of December 20-26, 2015, thanks to missteps that resulted in the hashtags #NotMyAbuela and more recently, #NewHillaryLogo. It all began with when the official @HillaryClinton account tweeted out this innocuous message of warm wishes for families celebrating Kwanzaa:

https://twitter.com/HillaryClinton/status/680911743632175104

You can't see it now, because her profile photo has reverted back to a stock image of the candidate, but that message was accompanied by an entirely new profile image:

https://twitter.com/deray/status/680916493522071554https://twitter.com/Wordplay4Days/status/681117534049800193

Whether this was well-intentioned or not (some commenters pointed out that her Twitter image changed in similar fashion for Christmas, Ramadan and Hanukkah), it fed into a perception of the candidate (and Democratic politicians in general) as being ham-handed in her efforts to relate to minority groups. Soon, #NewHillaryLogo was born.

7 optical illusions that caused the Internet to lose its mind in 2015.

$

You might think that humanity is a highly evolved species, but no creature can be too evolved if it spends hours online arguing about what color a goddamned dress is. Whether you want to start arguments with your friends all over again or just want to stare at some trippy shit, enjoy this list of optical illusions from 2015.

1. This woman's color-changing hair.

https://youtu.be/-uG-YAW9io4

In May, Florida musician Sabrina Abu-Obeid dyed her hair blue. Or maybe pink. Or maybe violet. See, depending on the color of the light in whatever room she's in, her hair color appears to change. After her video was posted all over the Internet and shared on TV news, Abu-Obeid posted a good-natured follow-up about how it actually worked, and how to dye your hair. Not in any special way, really, just how to dye your hair.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U0-0AJWP0U&feature=youtu.be

If you want real magic hair, you'll need to look at this hidden oil-slick hair.

2. This penis that's not a penis.

https://twitter.com/SolitaNQ/status/667079423707975680

This tall, firm drink of water looks like a penis in a glass, but it's an illusion caused by the woman's arm and hair. Unless her upper arm is actually a penis.

3. This empty-looking field that is actually filled with sheep.

No, really. There are a bunch of sheep here.

This wintertime field photo featuring all the cheer of a scene from The Road has a secret: it's actually a picture of hundreds of sheep. Liezel Kennedy from Pilgrim Farms posted the above photo, and then a close-up to prove it:

Open your eyes, sheeple!

4. This cat that is going either up or down the stairs.

Cat owned by M.C. Escher.

This picture of a cat that is either going up or down the stairs isn't new. But in the wake of #thedress fever, some cruel Internet troublemaker decided to raise the argument all over again.

5. This name on a Starbucks cup.

https://twitter.com/GregDorris/status/624305989802528768?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

Does it say Greg or Corey?!?!?! Well, since this was posted by a guy named Greg, we know it says Greg. But it kind of looks like Corey. Wow. Letters: they look similar sometimes.

6. This shoe that matches two very similar colors of nail polish.

https://twitter.com/strikeaholic/status/618958105372721152?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

Would this nail polish/shoe image have ever been a thing that existed if The Dress had not existed before it? Probably not. But that is the gift that The Dress gave us: the gift of a new kind of clickbait to argue with your friends about.

7. ...and yes, #TheDress.

PTSDD: Post traumatic stress dress disorder, a condition that makes you terrified you'll keep seeing The Dress after 2015.

It's the optical illusion that split up more families than the Civil War (Editor's note: should we fact-check this? Nah.). Brother against brother, sister against sister, and commenter against commenter. It's the thing that filled our Facebook feeds, and the thing that, in 2025, will prompt a horribly out-of-touch talking head on TV to say "Hey! Remember The Dress?" And the people that are watching will remember it, because you'd have to be old and lame to still be watching TV in 2025.

Chrissy Teigen shared a photo of her middle finger to shut up her relentless pregnancy trolls.

Chrissy Teigen shared a photo of her middle finger, because by some Christmas miracle she has continued to "preg tweet" long after she vowed never to do so again.

A stranger, who does not know Chrissy Teigen and was not asked for an opinion on the model's pregnancy or any other aspect of her personal/professional life, tweeted at her: "doesn't anyone get married before starting a family? #marriage #responsibility #love #family #baby." Teigen, who is obviously married to hot singer John Legend as anyone who follows celebrity butt photos knows, responded on Thursday with a photo giving the middle finger. It happens to incorporate the huge-ass diamond ring on her ring finger.

https://twitter.com/chrissyteigen/status/680159064211390464

Teigen announced she was pregnant in October through a posed but down-to-earth Instagram photo, which is just so Chrissy. Unsurprisingly, people had a lot to say about how this woman in the public spotlight was carrying her baby, and even stooped so low as to Fruity Pebbles-shame her. When will people learn?

These gift cards have the highest resale value, in case you'd rather have cash for Christmas.

Want to sell your gift card for, you know, real money? Here's what the resale values of the most popular gift cards are, according to CardHub. Hopefully you got a gift card for gas and not for H&M. Also, Scott, this article isn't for you.

Gift cards have been a way for your uncle to get you something without actually having to get you something for years now, and in fact they're apparently the gift that more people want than any other, with 59 percent of people putting it on their wish list, according to the National Retail Federation (come on, people, dream bigger). But sometimes, you get gift cards to places that you don't ever actually go to, and you'd rather just have some money you can put towards beer. For that, check out the resell value:

The Rock has already gone full corny dad and is using his new baby for ventriloquism.

The Rock is settling into new fatherhood, after his baby Jasmine was born just a few days before Christmas. He's always been good with kids and at making dorky jokes, so it makes sense that he'd fall into the dad roll easily. And this Instagram post confirms that yes, The Rock will use his child as a dummy for ventriloquism and yes, he will sing very sweetly beside a Christmas tree in a way that makes you melt. Then cringe with empathetic embarrassment as you think of all the times his daughter will have to deal with his corniness. It's perfect.

The 11 most awkward red carpet moments of 2015.

Red carpets events are basically a bunch of humans putting on makeup, wearing ornate clothing, and pretending to be gods. Naturally, there are a lot of things that can go wrong with this sort of charade. Here are the most awkward red carpets moments of 2015.

1. Olivia Culpo fainting at the Emmys.

https://twitter.com/someecards/status/645725522882863105

Hot summer day + intense dress = loss of consciousness.

2. Amy Schumer falling in front of Kim and Kanye at the Time 100 gala.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XG654mpR3FA

What, exactly, was the joke again?

3. Selena Gomez's cheeseburger caddy at the KIIS-FM Jingle Ball.

https://twitter.com/someecards/status/674337678800912384

She didn't really acknowledge it, which makes it all the more hilarious.

4. Rashida Jones being told she was "tan" and "tropical" at the Screen Actors Guild awards.

She told the reporter she was "ethnic," which is a statement no one should ever have to say.

5. Iggy Azalea being asked by a 10-year-old about her breast expansion surgery at the Kids' Choice Awards.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4pKEzMK9EU

They should've left this hard-hitting question to a more experienced journalist, like a 12-year-old.

6. John Travolta kissing Scarlett Johansson at the Oscars.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bY9YMGM-hmk

It'd be awkward if anyone did it, but it's extra awkward because it's John Travolta.

7. Gigi Hadid hugging every member of One Direction except Harry Styles at the American Music Awards.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrKBjqBkfq4

The shade was palpable.

8. Beyoncé telling the assistant adjusting her gown to "stop it" at the TIDALx1020 party.

https://www.instagram.com/p/9FP_hOpkMB/

Poor kid.

9. Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer wearing the same dress.

There was a four year gap between them wearing it, but still, this is kind of a story! Right?!

10. Giuliana Rancic commenting that Zendaya's dreads make her look like she "smells like patchouli oil. Or weed."

https://twitter.com/txxmy/status/666480461506441216

Zendaya released an Instagram statement in response:

And Rancic later apologized—both for the insensitivity of her comments and for making every confused person Google "patchouli oil."

11. This red carpet interview between Dakota Johnson and her mom at the Oscars.

Nick Gordon photoshopped Bobbi Kristina Brown into a super weird Christmas card.

Nick Gordon wasn't the only celebrity to post an attention-grabbing Christmas photo this holiday season, but his photo was a little less heartwarming than most. People reports that on Tuesday Gordon tweeted out a crudely photoshopped picture of himself and his late girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown, who died over five months ago. Gordon took a Getty image of the two of them from over a year ago, and superimposed Santa hats, presents, and the words, "Merry Christmas."  His Twitter account is now private.

https://twitter.com/hinterlandg/status/680457118521008128

Bobbi Kristina, who passed away at age 22, was the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. She was found unconscious in her bathtub last January and spent six months in a coma until her death in July.

Many find this photo to be in extremely poor taste considering Gordon, her long term boyfriend, is currently in the middle of a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit over Brown's tragic passing, and is also facing criminal investigation for her murder. Gordon and his legal team deny all allegations. While he maintains his innocence in the case, Gordon's definitely guilty of sucking at Photoshop.

A Muslim family had a very nice Christmas thanks to strangers at Olive Garden.

There has been so much bad news lately about how Muslim people are being treated in America, that this story of a simple kind gesture is a breath of non-hateful air. On December 24, Eslam S. Mohamed of Augusta, GA, says he was out to dinner with his family and friends. They spoke Arabic and their group included women wearing the traditional hijab to cover their heads. When they asked for the check, it turned out someone has already paid and left a lovely note:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10154672076922316&set=a.10152056848432316.531066.764302315&type=3&theater

Mohamed writes:

Yesterday i went to Olive Garden restaurant to have dinner with nice families. We were a group of 7 adults and 5 children. Everyone in the restaurant was knowing that we were Arabs Muslims on the table coz of the language and the ladies were having scarves over their head ( Hijab ). After finishing we asked for the receipts and the waitress came to us with that receipt in the picture. Yes, someone paid for us and wrote those wonderful words on the receipt. I can't express how this act touched our hearts. Among all the bad things happening to Muslims and the hate speech that the presidential candidate had made lately , there is still light in the dark, there is still hope within the frustration. All what i can say to who did that, Merry Christmas to you too and God bless such a beautiful heart you have

That's how you say "Merry Christmas" to people who don't celebrate it without being a d*ck. It's great that Mohamed and his family were made to feel welcome in an Olive Garden, instead of just sleepy from carb intake.

Kylie Jenner shared a cryptic diamond ring pic after spending the holidays with Tyga. Also, a dog photo.

How much mileage can Kylie Jenner get by sharing cryptic photos of her rings? Apparently, alot

Jenner, as per usual, shared multiple photos of her hands to show off her bling. Only this time, she was conspicuously wearing a huge diamond. Then, after engagement rumors about Jenner and rapper Tyga got going, she denied any marriage plans and was basically like, where would anyone get that idea? According to Us Weekly, Jenner wrote on her website:

Every year my Mom throws a huge Christmas Eve party and this years was so fun (and sparkly)! It was really special to end such a big year celebrating with all of my friends and family... and with an extra special gift from a special someone. And NO, I'm not engaged :).

Okay, Kylie. You knew what you were doing:

https://www.instagram.com/p/_u5PLVHGnC/https://twitter.com/KylieJenner/status/680557193544876032

And it worked. So good job staying in control.

She also shared a photo of herself holding one of her dogs, probably to show that the pup is in good health after her nosy Instagram followers called Animal Control on her earlier this month.

The dogs are fine. Kylie's not engaged. Diamonds are shiny. Now everyone can start 2016 on the same page.

Guy spends a year of his life building a Millennium Falcon Lego model, fending off babes.

A man spent a year of his life building a 7,500-piece, three-foot-long Lego version of the Millennium Falcon, the spaceship famously piloted by Han Solo and Chewbacca in the Star Wars movies, and even if you think that's the nerdiest sentence ever written, the finished product is pretty cool.

Millennium Falcon (Starwars VII)

Millennium Falcon (Starwars VII)

It's apparently the version of the Millennium Falcon from the most recent Star Wars movie, since there have been some adjustments made over the years. Makes sense—in a different galaxy, Han Solo would totally be that guy adding sweet mods to the car he built in shop class (you know he bored Leia half to death talking about his adjustments to the hyperdrive).

Millennium Falcon (Starwars VII)

Also, in case you're thinking that you made this same thing as a kid from a kit your parents bought you, the Lego blog Brothers Brick compared the official Lego version of the Millennium Falcon with this fan's version and found that the from-scratch take on the space ship was more detailed and accurate. If it was any more like the actual Millennium Falcon, this post would have to have a spoiler alert.

Sarah Silverman's Jesus tweet once again ruined Christmas for some offended Christians.

Comedian Sarah Silverman has been fighting the gender pay gap, speaking out about her depression and doing funny bits with Stephen Colbert, but she still has time to wish everyone on Twitter a Merry Christmas and to suggest that Jesus was gender fluid. Everyone wore the same flow-y robe back then, so she could be right:

https://twitter.com/SarahKSilverman/status/680354986220498944?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

People responded angrily. And with a lot of anti-Semitism! Many wanted to know why she wasn't tweeting something offensive about Muhammad on Christmas Day, but most simply wanted to tell her off:

Though a couple people supported her with compelling evidence:

If you forgot to get someone an Xmas gift, Neverland Ranch is for sale. Here's what it looks like now.

The holidays may be over, but if you're still in the spirit of giving, you can snatch up Michael Jackson's former estate, Neverland Ranch, for the bargain price of $100 million. The Today Show had an exclusive tour of the 2,700 acre property today, and many things have changed since the King of Pop was in residence.

https://twitter.com/joefryer/status/681443267095953408

Neverland Ranch now goes by the name of Sycamore Valley Ranch, although who is ever going to call it that? The amusement park rides are gone, and most of the exotic animals moon-walked out of there long ago. The only one left is Ricky the llama, who apparently didn't get the memo to beat it. Despite the changes, Michael's signature style is still a big part of Neverland Ranch. The iconic Neverland clock, the railroad station, train tracks, and 50-seat movie theater all remain on the property.

Here's the video from Today:

The Today Show previously toured Neverland six years ago. The video below shows the ranch as it was left after Michael's passing. RIP Matt Lauer's hair.

Here are the top 10 most popular Beatles songs from their first 48 hours on Spotify.

$

The Beatles' songs were streamed more than 50 million times in the first 48 hours after they made their song catalog available to music streaming services last week. After boycotting sites like Apple Music and Spotify for years, the band finally began allowing their music to be streamed starting on Christmas Eve. According to The Daily Mail, the web analysis site BrandWatch found that 65 percent of those listeners—at least on Spotify—were millennials under the age of 34. They probably think "Hi-Fi" is a type of Internet connection (that joke was from your dad, who is currently listening to Abbey Road on vinyl).

Look at these dorks.

In real world terms, that means that no one Beatles song is doing as well as, say, Justin Bieber's "Sorry," though "Come Together," the top-listened Beatles song on Spotify, managed to crack the U.S. Top 50 list. However, in just a few days, the "Fab Four" (as all journalists have to call them at least once per article, union rules dictate) have managed to become the 131st ranked artist on Spotify, which is pretty damn impressive for a band that hasn't made music together in over 45 years.

According to Rolling Stone, a magazine for old potheads to put in their vans, these are the most-streamed Beatles songs on Spotify in the U.S.:

1. "Come Together"
2. "Hey Jude"
3. "Here Comes The Sun"
4. "Let It Be"
5. "Twist And Shout"
6. "Blackbird"
7. "I Want To Hold Your Hand"
8. "In My Life"
9. "She Loves You"
10. "Help!"

It's weird that the objectively, factually best Beatles song, "In My Life," isn't number one, but whatever.

CNN anchor Poppy Harlow passed out on live TV, and the video's too scary for a blooper reel.

In what is probably a standard recurring anxiety nightmare for news anchors, CNN's Poppy Harlow passed out on live TV this morning. Thankfully she's okay, as she reassured concerned tweeters immediately afterward.

In the video clip below, you can hear Harlow's voice trail off while talking over a graphic. Later, she comes back on the air and reassures viewers, "I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment. I am fine."

Summer Brielle is an adult film star with a big Instagram following. Like many women in the spotlight, she's often the target of harassment. The fact that Summer has sex on camera seems to make men think they can write literally whatever they want to her. She's self-aware enough to know many are following her for pics like this:

But she also respects herself enough to know that guys should not be sliding into her DMs with threatening messages and unsolicited dick pics. So. Many. Unsolicited. Dick. Pics. So to fight back, Summer has been posting screenshots of her harassers and her hilarious trolling of said fiends. Some of the messages she receives are kind of violent and scary, so congrats to Summer for taking lemons and turning them into social media lemonade:

They do what they want, with no regard for anyone else, not even the police. Lance Benjamin, a police officer in Louisiana, was patrolling a subdivision late Thursday night when a barred owl flew in his open window and began scratching and pecking him. Benjamin told Fox 8 News the attack made him lose control of his car and crash into a ditch. After the crash, Benjamin escaped the car, but the owl chilled inside for 45 minutes, before flying away to sweet, sweet freedom. The bird is still at large.

Owl lives matter.

The whole "an owl crashed my car" story seems too crazy to be true, but Benjamin was wearing a body camera at the time of the incident. Police chief Tim Lentz posted the blurry footage on Facebook:

Thankfully, Officer Benjamin was not seriously injured in the attack. Though he was shaken up, he was also probably thrilled to learn he'd finally been accepted to Hogwarts.
