T.J. Miller makes up old-guy insults for four minutes straight in 'Silicon Valley' outtake.

Although he's been on screen now for almost a decade (and on the Internet before that), T.J. Miller's most iconic role so far is his current one—Erlich Bachman on Silicon Valley—but this outtake from the HBO show demonstrates how that decade of training has paid off.

Even if you've never seen the show, all you need to know is this: Miller, an entrepreneur in the youth-obsessed tech industry, walks into a room to greet 64-year-old Stephen Tobolowsky, whose character is joining the company as an experienced CEO. Miller's character is threatened by this, and opens the conversation by insulting Tobolowsky's age. HBO probably only needed one or perhaps two insults, but Miller provided them with about 100 to work with:

Maybe T.J. Miller should start a real-world app that generates custom-made insults.

Comedian exploits weird Facebook Messenger features to make his friends and family awkward.

Minneapolis comedian Turner Barrowman literally starts his set at The Facebook Show with the question "What's the deal with Facebook Messenger, everybody, right?" and that turns out not to be a rhetorical question. Facebook Messenger has some weird, probably not-very-smart features that make it ripe for trolling, which is exactly what Barrowman does.

Barrowman starts group chats with a bunch of random friends and his mom, introduces people who don't know each other and promptly leaves them alone, and creates impossible-to-leave chatrooms from hell. He even sends a bunch of "nudes" to every type of relation and acquaintance you can think of—with fascinating results. It all seems extremely awkward and perhaps a little annoying if you're his friend, relative or colleague, but as a comedy show, it works flawlessly.

Emilia Clarke may be the star of 'Game of Thrones,' but she loses her mind over Matt LeBlanc.

Game of Thrones is a very, very popular show, but even a star of the biggest show ever on HBO can be awestruck sitting next to the star of a megahit from the final days of network TV's dominance. For a moment, we were all 90s kids again as the fierce and terrifying Khaleesi trembled in fangirl excitement over meeting Joey from Friends. Emilia Clarke and even Kate Beckinsale were transparently delighted to meet a somewhat shy Matt LeBlanc on the BBC's Graham Norton Show this week.

LeBlanc seemed flattered if somewhat more eager to talk about his new role as the host of Top Gear than his iconic 90s sitcom character. He even admitted to only having really seen the first season of Thrones, but it didn't dampen Clarke's enthusiasm. He felt pretty bad about it, though, and went along with it when Emilia asked him to say his catchphrase.

Here's another clip where Clarke discusses her parents' reaction to her nude scene, giving Matt LeBlanc has renewed interest in watching her show:

Nobody will pull the rug out from under you quite like an older brother will, which is exactly what YouTuber Fadil Alkhadra did to his kid sister when she tried to croon "Me, Myself and I" by G-Easy. Like so many of us warbling along to our favorite songs, her knowledge of the lyrics fades quickly after Fadil turns off the radio, leaving her stranded mid-verse. What follows is priceless embarrassing and a wheezing giggle that would make Muttley* from Wacky Races jealous.

Many people on reddit were reminded of another, even more embarrassing version of this same prank:

This is Muttley, kids:

Given everything else that's happened in the past year or two, the fact that America has gotten really into popping videos is pretty low on the weird scale, but it's still odd that we now live on an Internet where a "best of squeezes" video is a viral hit. Nevertheless, here we are, and it's all thanks to you: the person who clicks on videos of Dr. Sandra 'Pimple Popper' Lee (and others) dealing with the worst that human skin has to offer. In honor of everyone whose insatiable desire to see blackheads, whiteheads, cysts, dilated pores of Winer and even lipomas emptied, here is Dr. Pimple Popper's montage, "In Memory of some of My Favorite Squeezes":

'Game of Thrones' gets books readers hyped in a surprising mid-season episode.

More than halfway through Game of Thrones season 6, it seems fair to say that whatever dip in quality occurred in season 5, season 6 has rebounded with force. I was nervous going into this season that relying on George R. R. Martin's summary of the plot instead of the books would lead the creators astray; on the contrary, it seems to have made the plots tighter and more immediate, with the bonus for book readers of reintroducing plots and characters that have always been important to the books but have occasionally been forgotten by the show. In "Blood of My Blood," there are less "big" moments than in the past two episodes, but it quietly remains just as exciting—in this case, by setting up big moments to come. Warning: as always, spoilers for the most recent episode ahead.

I knew something was up when she wasn't given Lena Dunham's haircut as punishment for her sins.

Hello, Coldhands.

The spookier Stark reunion this season.

The most interesting development in the entire episode was only noticed by book readers who happened to catch the interview with the series creators that always airs after the episode—that Bran's missing uncle Benjen Stark is, in fact, Coldhands, the part-White Walker who saves Bran and Meera.

Did that paragraph scare you away?

In the books, Coldhands saves Sam and Gilly way back in the third book. In the third season of the show, he was inexplicably absent, leading book readers to conclude that he wouldn't be included in the show. Obviously, and happily, we were wrong (though in the past, Martin has said that Coldhands and Benjen Stark are not the same person, despite fan theories to the contrary. He may or may not have changed his mind. Canon is dead).

For people who only watch the show, you are probably wondering: wait, who is Benjen Stark? Have we seen him before? The answer is yes! The same character (and same actor) appeared back in season one. As Ned Stark's younger brother and the first ranger of the Night's Watch, Jon Snow joined him when he decided to take the black and go to The Wall. Shortly after, Benjen Stark went on a mission beyond the wall and vanished mysteriously. In this episode, we learned what he was up to: being killed by White Walkers, being resurrected by the children of the forest, and working for the Three-Eyed Raven.

Hello again, Walder Frey.

You still remember that you hate this guy, right?

Technically I guess one of the "big" things that happened this episode was the diverted clash between the Faith Militant and the crown, but it's hard to know what to say about this beyond wondering about what's going on in Margaery's head (and Loras's head!). I don't, for the record, think her conversion is sincere.

Still, this plot does set other interesting things in motion beyond this mystery. Jaime Lannister is leaving King's Landing again, this time to go to the Riverlands in order to recapture Riverrun from Brynden "Blackfish" Tully, Catelyn Stark's uncle who you last saw around season 4.  Brienne is going to the Riverlands too, but with the aim of helping the Blackfish and leading his army north. The idea that Jaime and Brienne may have to fight over this after all the hardcore crushing they've done on each other is sad, but increasingly inevitable.

To this end, the show also reintroduces Walder Frey, the architect of the Red Wedding, and Edmure Tully, the groom in the Red Wedding and the brother of Catelyn Stark, who has been a captive of the Freys all these years. As a side note: Walder Frey mentions the Brotherhood without Banners (remember them? The people who first let you know several seasons ago that red priests could bring dead men back to life?). Jaime and Brienne are going to the same place. Freys and Tullys are returning to the main plot of the show. If only there was a Lady who could tie all these plots together.

Hello again, Arya.

The one kid more annoying than the kid from The Babadook.

It's about f*cking time that Arya left the Faceless Men behind her. She is not no one: she is Arya Stark. She has three people left on her list. And she remembers where she stashed Needle, her sword. Cersei, the Mountain, and Walder Frey all better watch out.

In the meantime, she may be using the traveling theater company as her way out of Braavos. I wouldn't mind this if it meant seeing more of Essie Davis, who plays Arya's mark Lady Crane and who I finally recognized this week as the mother from The Babadook.

Hello again, Drogon.

That look you give when your girl terrifies you.

Dany sure knows how to control Drogon all of a sudden. Knowing how her plots play out in the books, I assume training Drogon takes up her entire storyline in The Winds of Winter. I'm not too sad they skipped over that and she can just fly him across the ocean now.

In the books, by the way, when the khalasar discovers Daenerys after her flight away from Meereen, Drogon is right next to her. So presumably lots of things happen differently in the books. And yet—also, just presumably—they are both still leading to the same point: Daenerys finally going to Westeros. It appears like it will happen by the end of this season. If they get those thousand ships figured out, anyway.

Nice moments:

Sam's dad seems like a dick until you remember Gilly's dad.

It was interesting that one of the more vivid visions Bran had this episode was of the Mad King Aerys—Daenerys' father—shouting "burn them all" repeatedly. Is the Mad King more important that we realize?

Last week I admitted that I like Meera, a simple and kindhearted and brave person who probably will never sit on the Iron Throne or overly change the course of history on this show. This week, I will similarly appreciate Sam and Gilly. I like Sam and Gilly a lot, and I am excited for Sam's plot—right now, the lone plot that's behind the books—to catch up to where you leave the character at the end of A Feast For Crows.

But like also Sam's dad's sword has to be important eventually, right?

Next week:

The episode is called "The Broken Man." Most men in this show are broken, but it may specifically refer to wartime outlaws (like the aforementioned Brotherhood without Banners). Or, of course, to Theon, the most broken-ass man of all.

Lily-Rose Depp shared some thoughts about her dad Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's domestic abuse allegations on Instagram, like any trendy teenager would.

Incredibly chic 17-year-old Lily-Rose Depp has taken time out of her fashionable life to speak about the increasingly contentious split between her father, Johnny Depp, and his wife, Amber Heard.

Thank you @chanelofficial @voguemagazine 😚

Following Heard's domestic abuse allegations, Lily-Rose took to Instagram to covertly share some thoughts about the whole situation.

"My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know," she wrote. "he's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same."

Lily-Rose is somewhat correct on that front. Since the photo of an injured Amber Heard hit the Internet, other celebrities like Paul Bettany and The Walking Dead's Laurie Holden took to Twitter to support Depp, while also making it clear that domestic abuse claims are to be taken seriously.

Then other celebrities took a public crap on Johnny Depp.

Young Lily-Rose Depp has had the most recent word on the subject matter, instagramming an article from People which asserts that on a recent domestic violence call from Amber Heard, there was no evidence of abuse.

Lily-Rose Depp's mother, Vanessa Paradis, is likewise standing with the 52-year-old fedora fanatic. In a handwritten letter that TMZ got a copy of, Paradis wrote that "...[t]hese recent allegations being made are are outrageous, in all the years i have known Johnny he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man i lived with for 14 wonderful years."

Clearly this is a convoluted situation, and only time will bring out the truth. Or maybe not.

While domestic abuse is no laughing matter, the striking similarities between Lily-Rose and her mom Vanessa Paradis are.

Chrissy Teigen's baby Luna had some bonding time with 'auntie' Kim and a shockingly happy Kanye.

Over the holiday weekend, Chrissy Teigen and fam met up for a tasty-looking brunch at Nobu in Los Angeles with BFFs Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Teigen and John Legend's baby girl Luna being the cute little blob of baby fat that she is, Kardashian couldn't help grabbing the mini celebrity.

Her engagement ring is nearly the size of Luna's head. How can she even carry both the child and ring? Such a hefty load.

Kanye ;also got in on the Teigen-Legend baby love fest.

HOLY CRAP THAT'S A KANYE SMILE. It shouldn't be that surprising, though, that little Luna elicited such a rare moment of happiness from the perpetually glum Kanye. She's just that cute.

Baby Saint West was also present, according to E! News, suggesting that a West-Kardashian-Legend-Teigen family union may be somewhere down the line.

Are the babies already promised to each other? That wouldn't be strange, because royal babies are usually engaged quite young.

If babies aren't your thing, Teigen snapped the menu offerings at Nobu.

That menu is almost as tasty as little Luna.

Comedian Doug Stanhope says Amber Heard is blackmailing his friend Johnny Depp.

Details behind the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard divorce just keep coming. Over the weekend, Depp's daughter Lily-Rose as well as his former partner of 14 years, Vanessa Paradis (Lily-Rose's mom) both spoke out on social media in support of Depp. Then on Sunday, comedian and self-proclaimed Depp friend Doug Stanhope wrote a guest post published on the Wrap called "Johnny Depp Is Being Blackmailed By Amber Heard—Here's How I Know."

We’d watched it build like this since before they were married. We’d watched her manipulate and f— with him for years. We didn’t say a word. To each other, yes, but never to him.

When your friend is in an awful, abusive relationship — man or woman — and you risk weighing in that their counterpart is a demon, you know the odds are they will jump right back into the fire and then dump you from their life for being honest.

Doug Stanhope, Team Depp.

In the post, he goes on to claim that the on the Saturday Heard alleges Depp assaulted her, Stanhope and his girlfriend Bingo had been hanging out with Depp, who revealed that Heard was leaving him, and "threatening to lie about him publicly in any and every possible duplicitous way if he didn’t agree to her terms." That prompted Stanhope and Bingo to open up to Depp about how they felt Heard had always been manipulative. Stanhope says various other people corroborated Stanhope that day, and that Depp was "dumbstruck" but thankful. Then the events of Saturday night occurred. Stanhope wrote:

Everything Johnny had told us that she’d been threatening had actually come to be. It blew up in the news, raced through the Internet like a plague and blew up on Twitter like it was the McMartin child abuse scandal. People are swarming with torches on social media.

Stanhope didn't offer any explanation as to how Heard's face got the bruises she claimed came from Depp, but he seems pretty sure that Heard is lying. Now it's just a matter of seeing who will weigh in on this situation next, because this media circus shows no signs of ending anytime soon.

Kit Harington says male actors face sexism just like women, proving Jon Snow knows nothing.

Game of Thrones' Kit Harington recently spoke to The Sunday Times Magazineabout how Hollywood hunks fall victim to the industry's sexist propensities just like Hollywood hunkettes do. The actor, known for portraying the bastard Jon Snow, references double standards for how attractive actors are treated compared to their attractive female counterparts. Apparently, being gawked at and objectified by millions of strangers is pleasant for neither gender.

I think there is a double standard. If you said to a girl, ‘Do you like being called a babe?’ and she said, ‘No, not really,’ she’d be absolutely right.

I like to think of myself as more than a head of hair or a set of looks. It’s demeaning. Yes, in some ways you could argue I’ve been employed for a look I have. But there’s a sexism that happens towards men. There’s definitely a sexism in our industry that happens towards women, and there is towards men as well.

At some points during photoshoots when I’m asked to strip down, I felt that. If I felt I was being employed just for my looks, I’d stop acting.

Jon Snow realizing Hollywood is exploitative.

The HBO show has faced countless complaints about female characters being used for nude scenes far more often than male ones. Now, after calls for the show to balance its dong-to-breast ratio, guys are realizing how women have felt since the beginning of time.

Harington also spoke about his real-life relationship with Wildling actress Rose Leslie, which went public last month.

If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest, it becomes very easy to fall in love.

Here's a gif of them for your unbiased objectification:
