Steph Curry's half-court game-winning shot with .6 seconds left is the stuff of basketball daydreams.

$

To describe what happened in adult terms, Steph Curry secured a victory for the Golden State Warriors over the Oklahoma City Thunder with a half-court missile that broke their tie with 0.6 seconds left on the clock. It was the kind of moment that's usually reserved for the fantasies of a middle-schooler who's gotten bored in class: "Tie game, the crowd is roaring" (kid makes roaring-crowd noise) "Oklahoma tries to win, no good, Steph Curry gets the rebound," (more, louder roaring-crowd noise) "Four seconds, can he do it? Three, two, I guess it's over-OHMYGODFROMDOWNTOWN."

https://twitter.com/NBA/status/703800746882433024

Not only is Curry almost definitely going to be this year's MVP, his twinkle-toed celebration is pretty charming as well—although not as charming as this kid who approached Steph at a game to ask if Steph's daughter would be his Valentine.

Kevin Spacey sneaks up on an unsuspecting film crew before driving off, laughing.

Kevin Spacey is many things—the feared President Frank Underwood, the pathos-soaked protagonist of American Beauty, Verbal Kint—but he's also embracing his role as America's Pal (Tom Hanks has to take a day off sometimes, ya know). Here, we see the two-time Oscar-winner engage in the time-honored celebrity tradition of sneaking up on normals—in this case a film crew shooting a not-super-glamorous-looking commercial—before rejecting their requests that he join them by driving off with a cackle and leaving them to their dull, unfamous lives.

What movie are you shooting?

Posted by Kevin Spacey on Saturday, February 27, 2016

Feel free to drop by Someecards and laugh at the writers any time, Kevin. They'll probably react like this woman in the last frame of the video who just realized she'll never be as cool as Kevin Spacey:

She is about to cry, her friend is resigned to his fate, and Kevin Spacey is rich and famous and laughing.

Man filming a small rockslide has to haul ass when the mountainside falls off.

Bret Edwards was working to clear some debris on a highway near Elk City, Idaho, when a few more rocks started falling onto the road—no big deal, happens all the time, protocol is to get out of the way and wait. Bret started filming the falling rocks, and it's a very pretty scene, but not too exciting until about 50 seconds in, when a tree suddenly falls. Then, more and more dirt seems to be coming from somewhere near the giant boulder in the middle of the hill, but what exactly is happening is unclear until the whole mountainside starts moving and it's time to run away screaming. Stay tuned for the end to see the aftermath.

A fascist-quoting Twitter bot was created just to see if Trump would retweet it. He did.

Not long after re-orienting themselves into a politics-focused site, writers at Gawker apparently created a Twitter account that tweets quotes from Benito Mussolini, the "father of fascism" and inspiration to Hitler (before becoming Hitler's lesser ally), and attributes them to Donald Trump. Many of the lines weren't actually too much of a stretch.

https://twitter.com/ilduce2016/status/704005716764450816

Although Donald Trump arguably has a stronger Twitter game (except for spell check) than any candidate to date, he has one social media Achilles' Heel—he will manually retweet almost anything praising him, even if it is from known KKK members, white supremacists, and other spewers of hate. Presumably, it's because he doesn't check his sources. Everyone presumes that because the alternative, that Trump knows what he's doing, is much worse. This happens, um, way more often than you would think, like this quote from @WhiteGenocideTM.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/690562515500032000?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

So, Gawker created @ilduce2016, a reference to Mussolini's title at the head of the Italian fascist regime, Il Duce, or The Leader. Today, they struck paydirt.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/703900742961270784?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

People were quick to realize what had happened.

https://twitter.com/ditzkoff/status/703912576363552768?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfwhttps://twitter.com/radovankavicky/status/703951379103150080?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

And before long, Gawker came forward to take credit.

https://twitter.com/Gawker/status/703974595787882498?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

So, what did Trump think? He played it off like everyone quotes Mussolini, and said fine with it. So, either he's pretending that he knew about this instance, or he was pretending not to know all the times he retweeted white supremacists.

Congrats, guys, and well played. Head over to Gawker to read more about how they set this honeypot for the political world's most avid (yet apparently gullible) tweeter.

People shared the disheartening workplace moments that made them stop caring about their jobs.

We all have complicated relationships with our jobs, but like all relationships, some of them are healthy and help both partners grow over time, and others are dysfunctional and manipulative, leaving one person feeling trapped. When someone asked people on reddit, "What work moment made your attitude go from proud employee to "I'm just here for the paycheck"?" the results were enlightening, amusing, and depressing all at once. If you're an employee, keep an eye out for these red flags in your own workplace life, and if you're a boss, for the love of all that is good, please don't be like these awful, awful superiors.

1. This story is so universal, there's probably a version of it in the Old Testament.

2. This man is a hero to customers everywhere. Naturally, bosses hates him.

3. How to use (terrible) bonuses to (de)motivate people.

4. "Oh, you have a skill none of the other employees possess? Let's completely isolate you and make it really weird."

5. Let us travel back in time to an era where RadioShack was an exciting (and existing) place to work.

6. Did you know that major coffee chain employees were once actually invested in helping their brands grow?

7. Management tip: If you can't (or won't) pay more than minimum wage, at least don't be insulting about it.

8. Fun Fact: CEOs are four times as likely as the general public to be clinical psychopaths.

9. The moral of this story is "don't be good at your job if you want to be successful."

10. Do: stand up for yourself. Do not: attempt cheesy walk-off lines.

11. How managers can create (dis)loyal employees and achieve a huge (negative) turnaround in productivity by being strict(ly a jerk) about the rules, Part 1.

12. How managers can create (dis)loyal employees and achieve a huge (negative) turnaround in productivity by being strict(ly a jerk) about the rules, Part 2.

13. When you ask the company to blow some cool air and find out they're blowing hot air in response.

14. This is rage-inducing enough that it could be hazardous to health—or the makings of a great TV show.

15. "You have to run the store yourself...hey, why isn't your store doing well?"

16. Being a good cop seems really frustrating. Sorry, good cops.

17. Ever wonder why so many companies have terrible Twitter accounts?

18. Strap in, kids, it's very-frustrating-story time.

19. Here's the most-recently-disillusioned employee in North America.

20. Finally, we have one employee who put all these lessons into action: don't do more than you have to if your boss will never acknowledge it.

Comedians feed porn actors their lines, and the result is a scene no one would fast-forward through.

Comedians Nikki Glaser and Kyle Kinane, who are bad at and uncomfortable with dirty talk, respectively, tried to make porn dialogue a little more fun on the latest episode of Not Safe with Nikki Glaser by feeding lines directly to porn stars Jake Jace and Luna Star while they, uh, created a scene together. The result is "Aural Sex," and it's very amusing and also pretty impressive. Not only due to Nikki and Kyle's ability to keep improvising despite a very distracting situation, but mostly because it really showcases the professionalism of the porn actors, who have to say very silly things while, um, performing at a very strenuous level. Oh, this is NSFW. Not like, totally NSFW (stuff is blurred), but it's not like what's happening (sex) is unclear.

The first Oscar blunder of the night happened before the award show even began. The website Total Beauty totally screwed up their red carpet coverage by Tweeting out a picture of Whoopi Goldberg and saying it was Oprah. After lots of preemptive thinkpieces, Chris Rock finally unleashed his Oscars monologue—and yes, he took on #OscarsSoWhite in a powerful, full-throated, and funny way, gifting the world with the phrase "Sorority Racist."

Twitter comedians, already mostly onboard, reached near-consensus with regards to their assessment of Rock's monologue.

While most of Twitter was happy, many found that Rock became a bit sexist during his bit about sexism.

The best Twitter reactions to Stacey Dash's awkward cameo at the Oscars.

In an Oscars ceremony filled with uncomfortable moments—most of them enjoyable, at least, thanks to host Chris Rock's incisive monologue—the most butt-clenching moment of all occurred when Rock invited Stacey "BET lies to American black people" Dash onstage as the "the director of [the Academy's] minority outreach program." Dash, who is most famous for starring in Clueless and criticizing other black people as an ultra-conservative Fox News correspondent, came onstage for a brief, insane moment to say "I cannot wait to help my people out. Happy Black History Month!"

Joe Biden and Lady Gaga teamed up at the Oscars to raise awareness of sexual assault on campus.

On Sunday night, the Academy Awards ceremony was visited by someone who's even better at working a roomful of people: professional politician Vice President Joe Biden, who introduced Lady Gaga's incredibly moving performance of "Til It Happens To You." It was a departure from the normal Oscars routine, and even the (hilariously) political nature of Chris Rock's hosting stint. The Vice President gave an impassioned talk about the prevalence of sexual violence on college campuses (the subject of the Oscar-nominated documentary The Hunting Ground), and urged viewers to take a stand and to make a pledge at ItsOnUs.org. Arriving to the Indiana Jones theme, the Veep was greeted enthusiastically and had one of the lines of the night with "I'm the least qualified person in this room."

Then, the spotlight turned to Lady Gaga, who gave one of her most emotionally impactful performances at any awards show. She performed "Til It Happens To You," the song she co-wrote with Diane Warren for The Hunting Groundand leaving the room full of A-listers with tears and chills.

ItsOnUs.org crashed Sunday night from overwhelming traffic, but hopefully you can visit today. You can watch the official video for Gaga's video here in case you're not done feeling.

Leonardo DiCaprio uses Oscar acceptance speech to say there's something else humanity is horribly late on.

Last night, actor Leonardo DiCaprio finally (!) won a Best Actor Oscar, taking home the statue for his role in The Revenant. In a speech that seemed well-rehearsed (he, like everyone, knew he would win), DiCaprio clarified that the movie wasn't just made as a way to get him the Oscar he's deserved since What's Eating Gilbert Grape?. It was also an exploration of the relationship between humanity and nature, which is currently not so great because of climate change.

"Climate change is real. It is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating," DiCaprio said. Let's hope it takes humanity less time to act on this important matter than it did for us to get Leo his Oscar.

Last night's Oscars ceremony saw a lot of dressed-up celebrities, and Leonardo DiCaprio finally winning that Oscar (without being attacked by a bear). The thing that people seemed most excited about, though, was the Girl Scout cookies.

1. Brie Larson was, of course, thrilled to win an Oscar.

2. She showed a slightly more casual (and hungry) side a few hour later.

3. Ryan Seacrest did his best Oscar impression, but the statue still looked somehow smarter.

10. Sofia Vergara was also hungry. Does nobody feed these celebrities at home?

11. Host Chris Rock posed with Common and John Legend, and captioned the picture "Legendary" (see what he did there?).

12. Chrissy Teigen, also posing with John Legend, neglected to use that same "legendary" caption. What a missed opportunity, Chrissy! Maybe next time.
